They could've just done what they did with Prince of Persia Sands of Time after it ended and make a new series using similar mechanics like they did with Assassin's

But nope, gotta milk the brand recognition.

I wish Ubi would just... not, anymore. I just want them to not.

Been playing some Hitman 2 over the past day or so. Thought it'd be a good time to do so, since Hitman 3 is coming out in the next few days. I've always liked the dark comedy of some of the available kill methods.

The new COD has made their zombies mode free to access for a week. Nothing like mowing down some undead Nazis with the lads.

There a Medal of Honor VR game how did that happen did they not say that series was dead?

It was, and remains, dead. MoH was just the best choice for this. EA wasn't going to burn a big-name series (Battlefield, Apex, Star Wars) on what is effectively a proof-of-concept meme.

I know youtube footage will knock the quality down a bit but still, how does it only look slightly better then Airborne from 2007?

I think that does tie into it being a publicly released proof-of-concept. The specs are actually pretty high, so I'm wagering all that power is going into the engine to run this thing. EA wants to show that they can and that there is a market to potential investors, but if it bombs they didn't burn the image of a property they care about . If this does well we'll see something similar in a big EA property that they care about with bigger market share.

Cyberpunk really is an amazing game. I tried starting a Corpo run and it kept crashing, but it runs a Street Kid run just fine. The game knows I'm too much of a broke bitch to afford a good rig, so it is keeping me from playing the richboi start. Truly next level immersive gaming.

So IOW, EA is doing this FOR SCIENCE? Does sound appealing, all things considered.

That's weird that it shits the bed on Corpo, but Street is just fine. Very weird.

It was easy for 47 to abduct the Constant last time, but after his escape I doubt he'll make that same mistake again. As I said earlier I have been playing Hitman 2 for prep for it, as a refresher before 3 comes out.

Hitman 3 is good so far. Finished the first level in Dubai, including all the story options for that level. There are always tons of unmarked kill options in each level, so there's likely a lot that I've missed. I'm willing to bet that there are at least two Easter eggs in each level. I didn't find any in Dubai yet, but sometimes finding them involves doing some really convoluted and obscure set of actions to make them appear.

Are they doing it like the previous games and releasing the levels periodically or does it have a full campaign at launch?

It's all there. I think they realised that some folk just got annoyed at being drip-fed the story.

Hitman 2 released as only one game as well. It's only the first one that did the episodic thing which apparently nearly turned the game into a commercial bomb.

Kudos to them on the level design so far. I'm only on the second level but so far they have been great. The layout is challenging yet still intuitive, for example in the first level there was an entrance to an area which required a patdown from the guards, but I did a bit of exploring around the side and found a bit where I could climb up and bypass the patdown. The levels also feel like they could be real places, as there is a lot of attention to detail.

I'm actually kind of excited for the next Sims stuff pack, it gives me a Gabriel Knight: Sins Of The Fathers vibe from the style they're going for.
