The President has broad powers to declassified things so he wouldn't get in trouble. However, he does this after his tenure ends, then he would be in trouble I believe. But as President, he can declassified anything he wants if I'm not mistaken.

Manhattan DA expands criminal investigation into Trump Organization finances to include family compound in Westchester County. That place is a 212-acre property called Seven Springs.

The Trump Organization decided to donate a conservation easement to a land trust back in 2015, which for this particular case, was 158 acres of the property. It had a #21.1 million valuation at the time, which Trump could take as a tax deduction based on the appraised value of the property. Of course, a higher valuation means a bigger deduction. In this case, the valuation is being scrutinized as there are suspicions that it was inflated; inflating/deflating your assets to seek favorable tax treatment is illegal. This would draw in Eric Trump more as he was directly involved with discussions on the property.

If any crimes do stick to Trump and his family, it would likely be these financial/fraud types. And I think that's got them greatly worried.
