From skimming the Wikipedia article I'd say Anpanman isn't just bread Superman, as they're technically a pastry with red bean filling. And while the merchandising is comparatively widespread as Superman's, it's more directed towards kids whereas Superman is all ages - not that probably stops adults from wearing Anpanman stuff too. Agree to disagree.

Yeah, probably; tbh I've sort of stopped caring all that much about star wars in general. I think the only episode in the second season that really stuck with me was the second-to-last one; the others were good but they were by no means as groundbreaking as the first season.

I think that depends on your society's definition of extremism. Democracy, women's rights, and LGBT rights were once considered "extreme" (and still are in many countries), as were anti-war activists and labour union strikes. Even today in the US for example something tame and necessary as welfare reforms and healthcare for all is "extreme".

It is sad that people in our society conflate "productivity" with "working in a job" when there are many productive actions which are done in one's home, altruistically without a wage, or just for one's own pleasure.

Somewhat agree.
Productivity is mostly subjective but it is objective fact (because I think so ) that accelerating entropy is productive. Productivity implies action and any conscious material action will always destroy more complexity than it creates. Therefore any action of any type is productive as it will be working towards bringing the universe closer to heat death. Allowing the universe to burn away into the night by its own accord is cringe. It is the human birthright to kill the universe.

I would totally take elevators over lifts any day unless you are handicapped or there are several floors. Being trapped inside a lift is absolutely miserable.

EDIT: I think there definitely was some term/language difference, whoops. I mean elevators as in automated stairs that goes up or down. Lifts would be the elevators that people usually call.

Assuming you meant stairs instead of elevators, yes! It’s horrible to be trapped in an elevator with someone I just met, and then there’s just this awkward silence between us — this is also why I’d take the stairs even if it’s up to eight floors. Aside from that, there’s just something with the smell or overall vibe that makes it bad for me.

Somewhat, I agree. In the case of the Tsar, he could do everything he wants as the ultimate rule, even notwithstanding the constitution. Meanwhile, the Pope may do everything he wants as well, but there are certain conventions, agreements, and precedents on their proper behavior, plus they shouldn't be hypocrites in our time of quick exchange of information.
