Who is the biggest threat to America in your opinion?

Postby Super Cool Florida » Thu Jan 14, 2021 2:25 pm

I've seen many opinions of many people here about who is the biggest threat to America. So..let's compress it into a poll, shall we? Poll options are the opinions of people I've seen/heard from either on the Internet or real life. You cannot choose America itself; although it is true, we're looking at other countries here.
Florida, but it united with Mexico and got independence.

If you mean the people, then corporations and corrupted lawmakers. If you mean the state, then Americans themselves.

Corporate interests and the Chinese Communist Party, as well as the two working together. We need Hollywood and the major industries to be just as anti-China as they were anti-Warsaw Pact, but nope, they go the profit route instead...

Correction: The title should be "Who is the biggest threatened by America in your opinion?"

And the poll should be: "Which country is biggest threatened by America?"

Agree. Foolish Americans that continue to vote for politicians that want to trample on our rights while ignoring the basic needs of the people are bigger threats. The fact that Trump and Biden were considered the best people to lead the USA out of a population of millions of eligible candidates is quite scary.

Another bigger threat than foreign nations are criminals which roam the streets of America raping, killing and stealing. The USA is filled with millions of these bad people (mostly men but also many women) that are selfish and cruel.

It's very cute to ask which foreign polity threatens America the most considering that almost all the response of countries to American foreign policy have been reactive.

Almost all of the nations asked in the poll (with the curious exception of Israel) are objectively threatened by America actually.

But we must acknowledge that any large nation will become imperialist as a necessity with late capitalism. It's unfair for us to only blame America for this issue, even if American government decisions have led to much destruction.

Mainland China is mainly a threat because the USA allows and encourages it to be. Big corporations don't seem to concerned about red China and continue to outsource jobs to them. It seems many American big business capitalists are ironically communist supporters as well. I wonder if they have trouble sleeping considering their conflict of values.

It is funny that Steve Jobs is honored with an American postage stamp considering how he 'valued' American workers. This is quite symbolic how the US government also feels about average Americans vs. big capitalists that favor China over the USA. It also shows that the US govt. doesn't seem concerned about mainland China.

American companies want to maximize profits (capitalism) so they look for the cheapest option without worrying about morals (also capitalist). Ironically, the cheapest options are China and Vietnam which are communist nations. By outsourcing jobs to these countries, it helps the economies in those countries making them more powerful and making their leaders look good. This ensures the communist parties stay in power while also using the economic gains to build up their military forces which can then later be used to attack other nations (should they desire to be aggressive later).

Capitalistic business leaders support communist regimes despite probably telling friends that communism is wrong. It is interesting and I wonder if they question themselves privately about this.
