Someone at the WH called him and reminded him that they still had the sex tape, I'm guessing he forgot, since he seemed a little sloshed when he's spoken publicly of late. No shade, I would be too if I were in his unenviable position.

But you are completely against a company being punished for knowingly serving a product that hurts people. Weird stance.

I mean I can agree with the stance, people shouldn't be thrown in jail for saying their opinions. I don't agree with the stance that people should be immune from the results of saying their opinions. Results like being fired because your job doesn't want to be associated with what you are saying.

I am consistent. It is just like whether a restaurant should be allowed to ban black customers. Yes, legally, I think they should (just as legally, they should be allowed to fire workers who support Trump or Biden or the New York Yankees baseball team) but ethically, banning black customers is wrong (just like companies firing people over political views is ethically wrong) and companies that do so should be reported negatively in the news so people can decide whether to support the business or not. Owners that do these things are unreasonable and should be ashamed.

What scares me is that few people oppose companies that fired people for views outside of work. First it is them and then it will be you and/or I fired for our views. I already mentioned examples of those fired from the left and the right side. You can laugh now, but you might be crying later. This is why I want to defend Jihadists and Nazis and and black separatists and KKK members and Yankee fans that might be afraid to share their views for fear of retaliation.

This is why I'm inclined to believe that Trumps candidacy was originally a publicity stunt that snowballed wildly out of control because nobody realized just how far off the deep end the the GOP base had gone.

The constant intense and extremely public exposure, criticism, and scrutiny of his activities is completely antithetical for a narcissistic con-man who has always counted on being able to quietly bribe or bully his way out of trouble.

Just like a reality TV show it seems. But his actions, which he might have gotten away in other countries, certainly have come back to haunt him and his family for the rest of their lives. He brought this onto himself and must live with the consequences.

I do think Graham's efforts will fail, especially when McConnell is probably going to vote to convict. That would give others comfort to vote. McCain did keep Graham in line and pretty good too. Once he croaked, well...

The majority of the human population lives on the coasts. As in the areas most vulnerable to rising sea levels.

Frankly I have doubts that our civilization won’t collapse due to the coming chaos of climate change.

My hope is that more people will agree to disagree and respect people's opinions even if they are controversial. People need to be less petty and we can have more harmony. The people that fired the employees behaved like mini tyrants. I bet they are the same people that criticized Xi Jinping or Kim Jong-Il or Stalin for 'human rights violations' and not allowing freedom of speech BUT they also behave like a tyrant when given the opportunity.

Wait so are you a tankie, fascist, alt right, or libertarian?

I have some libertarian views, but I admitted to not being 100% libertarian because I think we should at least have a basic safety net for the downtrodden. I want programs that help people help themselves or for those in real need (ex. vocational job training, basic health care, a basic but cheaper public school system).

I am not alt-right and think we need a color-blind society (as much as possible).

I'm not going to lie, this is a pretty stupid post. It's not as simple as you make it out to be, and should be obvious that the real solution is to save the planet.

China isn't the only major contributor to climate change.

That's not an honest way of approaching the topic.

What incredible economy do you live in where you can just hop from job to job..?

Most companies will likely have smoking sections or ban smoking indoors as smokers are in the minority in most of the USA. It is legal to be drunk at work in most jobs as well, but most companies have rules against it. Likely, they will want employees happy and even many managers would not want to allow smoking indoors (at least not in 100% of the workspace).
