Football is a prime sport for a country, with a national league just ended preparations for 130th season right now. Trolleborg national team exist, on other hand, only four years, altought in that time Trolleborg won Baptism of Fire, took part in three qualifying tournaments for the World Cup, and once go to the World Cup itself, having won qualifying group in the recent edition. Officials urge fans to seriously moderate expectations.

COACH
Before the first campaign coach was selected by the vote of specialists, coaches and fans. And Morten TROGHIL continue to rule team. He was 55 at the moment.
PLAYERS
Morten Troghil recently begin add new players to the squad, altought things looked like not very promising, newcomers performance usually looked rather unconvincing. So we safely bet that he put his hopes into the old guard, who play from the beginning, with addition one or two new players every game.
Goalkeepers
Tomas Kot Kotsson (30). Flexible and agile, quick-thinking, he was one of the best Trolleborg league goalkeepers of the last decade, altought his performance on the international scene is rather substandard for his usual level. But he was undoubtely best goalkeeper in the league.
Klemens Gould (28). When he was called into the squad year ago, some pundits predicted him moved Kotsson out of net, but he continued to be number two. It’s not entirely clear, though, if he will keep this place for next season.
Defenders
Nikolaas Laste (31). He was reliable left back, who has a tendency going forward, but in the recent years prefer to concentrate on his defensive duties, which he does very successfully in the local championship, and only recently began to show something like that in the international games. In the last games it was seen that years already taken their toll, and he was not as fast as must be on that position, altought looked like he find a right pace in the last games.
Kasper Wolters (28). One of the team brightest stars, he is right back by default, but he is very strong, very fast, have a very good shot and even better crossing skill. Having all this, he very often make a lighting runs to the opposition box and sometime substitute right midfielder.
Sheltern Torquelli(25) Right defender, who due to his great strenght and stamina he can constantly push up and pull back along the touchline.
Torgeir Dushegub (31). Known as a Column, this tall and strong player usually dominates a box both in the air and at the grass. Being always calm and confidence, he projected aura of them around. Age advanced on him, but he was trying to live up to the fan expectations
Aien Troger (28). He is fast, strongly build and extremely good in tackling. It’s very challenging to move into the box past him.
Torben Bagger (28). He was distinguished by composure and the right choice of position in the games of domestic championship, and he was called up to the national team due to the breakdown of the two key defence players, proved to be solid choice, and recently he managed shouldered some established players out of lineup.
Heiko Aldekamp (28). Useful addition to the team, can play both right and left defender, preferably first one, moving fast and tackling hard. Probably he will have much more time than usual on the tournament due to the less-than-brilliant conditions of Nikolaas Laste.
Morten Levenkrans (33). Full left back in the beginning of his career, he than move to the center, having considered almost impassable in both positions. Albeit right now not the fastest man on the field, he is very good man-marker, having excellent header, and, being intelligent clever player, can be very useful when attacks began. He make a lot of goal-scoring passes.
Joran Du Riis(26). Recent addition to the squad, fits perfectly into it, showing himself as a cold-blooded fighter, hard, but fair defender. His positional sense is practically prefect, and in addition he is one of the fastest central defenders in the Trolleborg.
Midfielders
Rolf Valgren (31). Quick-thinking, with a perfect understanding of game, seeing everyone and everything in the field, and with brilliant passing skills, this man can bring ball everywhere he wants. He definitely add something from international experience, but it will be seen, how much and how good it compensated for age-related changes.
Hendrick Groningen (29). The defensive midfielder, probably the best in his generation, he was not selected to play in BoF and joined team by way, proved himself worthy of a place in the team, caused a lot of problems to the attacking players of the opposing teams. His talent of intercepting ball in the middle and using every possibility to begin attacks was fully appreciated by everyone – apart, probably, of his opponents. Recent season was not his best ever, but he remains most convincing player available to Morten Troghil in this position.
Finn Finnsnes (31). Playing usually attacking midfielder or free forward, he is swift, smart, good dribbler with a great sense of goal possibilities. He was one of the creators of the victory in the BoF.
Morten Troll (27). He is a brightest star amongst midfielders in the whole country. Genius of game, with a wonderful dribbling, beautiful technique, excellent pass and extremely good shot, he won many games for his local team single-handedly, but also a great team player. Highly probably, he will be a player of generation, and very probably, best player Trolleborg ever had. He brilliantly justified all the positive reviews even when team performance was rather uninspiring.
Ruud Kolding (30). Left midfielder, he, despite his age, covering lot of ground with his unbeliveable stamina, can press forwards or go back as team need.
Brutil Mogrin (30). Can play either in the center or as a right midfielder, with a nerves of steel and cold mind he will continue be a useful backup for any of the midfielders if need arise. Usually he was used as a sub for Groningen.
Alexander Bornitse Zach “Zhita” (28). Originated from the far-flung north part of the country, not well-known for a excellent players, he was an idol for his compatriots and find a place in the hearts of other fans. Almost devoid of what was known as classical football tecnique, have rather unusual style of play and often creates goal opportunities from nowhere. His career n the national team are full of ups and downs, but right now he was called in.
Kenneth Pathmoor (25). Recent addition to the team, Kenneth already play in the WCQ cycle, altought coach don’t selected him for the World Cup itself. But looked like everything is ahead for this versatile and clever midfielder, who can cover a lot of space and conjure goal opportunity for his forwards from nothing. With his pace, agility and an eye for goal he probably has a bright future.
Forwards
Stuart Kerr (30). Quick, brave, skillful, and having ability shot from everywhere in the box right despite defenders best efforts. Brilliantly confirmed his reputation as a prolific scorer, winning a prize for the topgoalscorer of BoF and add to his tally not a few goals in the other tournaments.
Torfinn Skaloed (29). Intelligent forward as it was, he can move very quickly, constantly ahead of the defenders, successfully escapes from markers, and in case of need he often going back and successfully acquire ball here to begin attacks. But in the international game his performance, unfortunately, usually not very consistent.
Tom Gulbranden (29). Build like a very tall stone wall, he easily can tramp defenders if he wish to do so, but his strong shot, without any preparation at all, give him other opportunity to have a points of popularity with fans other ways. It is looked impossible, that a man of such a stature can bring himself in the air at all, but nevertheless he is – strongly jumping and struck the ball by the head with deadly precision. He was author of some of the best goals of the team.
Karsten Severin (28). This fast forward, who can conjured goal from nothing, are quite impressive in the last five seasons, altought place in the team attack usually goes to the one of the three players listed before him.
Torgeir Berglund (25). Another recent addition to the squad, classical power forward, and trying to use his physical attributes to the full.
Henrik Heggheim(26). One of the players, whom Troghil taken into the team to see, if they can do what Trolleborg will need after BoF winners aged. This forward showed great promise from an early age and demonstrate a very decent performance in the last two seasons of Trolleborg league.

National psyche tell players to put everything even if odds are heavily against, so almost every match in the league played with high determination, and national team shirt oblige one who wore it for even more. Unsportsmanlike behavior is highly discouraged even if in the interests of the cause, and national team players are required to meet the highest standards possible, so it is completely impossible to imagine a player of the Trolleborg national team faking injury or begging for a penalty. But players are not easily bullied, though, and more than able to stand up for themselves both as individuals and as a team, and have a strong inclination to go tit-for-tat in case of excessive brutality on the opponent’s part.
STADIUM
All Trolleborg’s home games, bar anything unusual happened, will be played in the capital, Trolleborg City, on a “1th December” Stadium, which have a recently upgraded and having capacity of 100000.
This stadium was built by the voluntary labor of ordinary citizens in the honour of the sacred 1th December, Trolleborg Day of Victory. And due to that tickets to all games taken place here is always free, altought in the cases there are high demand (like in the WCQ games) they are arranged by lottery. It’s located in the beautiful place – in the middle of a forested area on a peninsula protruding into the sea near the capital. Three stations of subway transport and stops of two bus routes located within two kilometers, and this allow fans arrive and leave stadium quickly and troubleless. Specially designed climate system provides around the stadium constant sunny weather with t +18C, with, maybe, occasional gusts of winds from the sea.
OUR FANS
Fans is a pride of Trolleborg and almost part of the team, having already earning themselves a name and a good reputation at every place where national team playing.
Trolleborg Republic will organize trips for a fans and they wil arrive in the host countries in a very big batches, by thousands.
VISITING FANS
Of course, we expect fans from other countries.
The question of transportation to and from country arises, though. Trolleborg International Airport recently open it’s gates for a international flights, and our flag international airline “Trolleborg Wings” having a decent route networks and a lot of code-sharing agreements. But they are not of much help. We have a direct links with a Megistos, and Holy Empire usually provide means to reach their country, but other countries are not too well connected with our hubs. Trolleborg FA already made arrangements for a charter flights, and we are open to any proposals that will make our nations literally closer.
For fans of the guest teams, all possible facilities will be created. An art-of-science integrated payment system has been launched, which allows guests of the country to use their own credit cards, payment systems and banknotes directly, without resorting to currency exchange operations. The fans will benefit from the artificial intelligence system “Keith”, free for connection, which acts as a translator, transport planner, leisure organizer, hotel search engine, and a ticket service for cultural events. Volunteers in costumes of saber-toothed cats, which was a mascot of our team, are placed at key points in the transport network, starting with the huge international airport, in order to help if something goes wrong.

MEDIA
Recently opened Trolleborg TV-Sport channel try to do it best to provide everyone with a 3D broadcasting of every game, altought you must understood limitations of technology, which was in their first steps. Problems with color shades, difficulties with communication channels and so on are rather often happens. We already see changing the colors of the uniforms, the appearance of the stadium, women on the field replaced by the men and much more. But these are the inevitable costs of implementing such a progressive innovation in the so fast pace.
