Seems they were all mysteriously absent yesterday.
I posts this earlier, but it’s worth doing again:

Ahmaud Arbery was jogging.
Breonna Taylor was sleeping.
George Floyd was going to the store.
Jacob Blake was walking to his car after trying to stop a fight.
Breonna Taylor went from dating one drug dealer to another, but it's the cops' fault that her boyfriend started a shootout with them while she was nearby, supposedly on the pretense of thinking it was the ex-boyfriend coming into the house, and she died during it.
George Floyd was overdosing from a combination of drugs and saying he couldn't breathe before he even got out of his vehicle, and the cops did more to comply with him than he did to comply with them, but again, cops' fault that he died of an overdose (as the autopsy showed) while restrained.
Jacob Blake was attempting to steal house keys from an ex-girlfriend and had a warrant for sexual assaulting a teenager, resisted arrest, and by his own admission was wielding a knife when the cops' shot him... but if you notice the pattern here, again, totally the cops' fault.
Ahmaud Arbery was the victim of a hate crime. That is true. But then he, and every other black person targeted by a hate crime, gets lumped in with anybody of a similar color who dies anywhere near law enforcement. I didn't hear anything about Arbery more than a couple days after he was killed, while all these fictionalized martyrs get months of air time and outrage, because it serves a purpose to the people in power. That disgusts me. Actual hate crimes getting shoved aside in favor of a narrative.
When people say "I can't breathe," it used to be in reference to Eric Garner, a man who was murdered by police officers for no reason but the color of his skin. What used to be a sincere rallying cry against police brutality has now become associated with an overdose of fentanyl and meth, the massive civil unrest it inspired, and subsequent suffering inflicted on black communities in the name of Black Lives Matter.

Emperor Norton would not be on your side.

I'm not going to go through these one by one but I have to call out the George Floyd one because it's by far the most stupid lie.
George Floyd did not die of an overdose. People who overdose on opioids do not go from conscious to dead like a light switch. First comes relaxation, then nodding off, then unconsciousness, then death. The fact that George Floyd was awake and yelling that he couldn't breathe makes it obvious that he was nowhere near a state of overdose. Also the autopsy results were clear that his death was homicide.
Get a drug education ffs.

Because if Biden dies a much more Liberal and Progressive Harris will take the stage, or is this about Trump and Pence?

I wish I had archived my speculation that Trump's temper tantrum would become enough of an albatross that Republicans would start entertaining the 25th to cut him loose before he sank the whole fucking ship, 'cause now I just look like I'm making up a prediction.
But also, that's fine and all but until cabinet members start talking about it...though I guess as soon as they do they get shitcanned.

Do we really want to see Trump campaigning, after stewing in his own juices and being basted with MAGA gravy for four years?

I suppose. I think that he should be impeached and convicted because that would permanently disqualify him from holding office ever again. Do we really want to see Trump campaigning, after stewing in his own juices and being basted with MAGA gravy for four years?
