Well, Trump supporters are Confederacy LARPers anyway, I doubt that would change anything.

There is difference between LRAPing in a field in uniform and flag waving the confederate flag in a political rally.

Yeah, the Republican Party now realizes that Trump is a liability- and that any short term damage is worth it. Trump has been very quiet and even Pence is pissed.

Hell, I would be too: Trump pressured Pence to engineer a coup, then put the VP in danger, which if true, shows the extent Trump was willing to go. Doesn't help either that Trump and his top aides didn't bother to check on him either. The President has made many new enemies I see.

Usually DC used to be protected by various agencies and security forces, a lot of them plainclothed etc. and not necessarily apparent.

Seems they were all mysteriously absent yesterday.

Breonna Taylor went from dating one drug dealer to another, but it's the cops' fault that her boyfriend started a shootout with them while she was nearby, supposedly on the pretense of thinking it was the ex-boyfriend coming into the house, and she died during it.
George Floyd was overdosing from a combination of drugs and saying he couldn't breathe before he even got out of his vehicle, and the cops did more to comply with him than he did to comply with them, but again, cops' fault that he died of an overdose (as the autopsy showed) while restrained.
Jacob Blake was attempting to steal house keys from an ex-girlfriend and had a warrant for sexual assaulting a teenager, resisted arrest, and by his own admission was wielding a knife when the cops' shot him... but if you notice the pattern here, again, totally the cops' fault.

Ahmaud Arbery was the victim of a hate crime. That is true. But then he, and every other black person targeted by a hate crime, gets lumped in with anybody of a similar color who dies anywhere near law enforcement. I didn't hear anything about Arbery more than a couple days after he was killed, while all these fictionalized martyrs get months of air time and outrage, because it serves a purpose to the people in power. That disgusts me. Actual hate crimes getting shoved aside in favor of a narrative.

When people say "I can't breathe," it used to be in reference to Eric Garner, a man who was murdered by police officers for no reason but the color of his skin. What used to be a sincere rallying cry against police brutality has now become associated with an overdose of fentanyl and meth, the massive civil unrest it inspired, and subsequent suffering inflicted on black communities in the name of Black Lives Matter.

Before I respond to this crap, you realize that Floyd didn’t die from drugs, right?

That would not fit under the definition of treason and could not prosecuted as such.

Q-Anon is more insidious. It works by encouraging you to "do your own research" - or at least pretending you will be doing that.
Instead they start you on a trail of crumbs leading to the path they want you to take. And since you are convinced that*YOU* discovered everything, your belief in it is strengthened. So much easier to believe that the media is telling lies when you "discovered" those "lies" yourself.
