@Qassadia: Now, OOC you accomplish all rules and are a nice guy, IC... Ehh that's another story. Mervay is an anti slavery nation even if not in the Amistad Declaration and the recent events might make things difficult for Asteria as it will be involved on what's happening soon. So I appreciate that if you let me think about it; so it's officially pending for the moment.

But now, that I have spotted and realized the name Biscotti, I am thinking about adding another Kyrenaian Princess, too... ; )

Oh of course. But I'm expecting some quarrel from her. I admit I kinda enjoy it. But then, I see the other side of this, so I understand if you all don't want this Ball to be ruined by it.

Looking at my roster, I'm coming in with a fair amount of emotional baggage, and a tiny voice in the back of my head is demanding that I invite the Argonautai despite only two of them mattering in the grand Ezharan scene anymore. Course, don't think it'd be as much of a matter as, ah, certain folks from Qassadia, evidently.

Yep, Eiko is along for the ride - to quote (Darth) Maul. ; ) No, Sith-who-should-remain-cut-in-twain aside, it will be interesting to see, how he will now, more then a year after his collapse on a beach, interact and act with people, especially as the setting is far more formal and the dress code not as, shall we say, open hearted.

Hey, Selks, couple questions for ya:

1. Since I took Valentine to the ball in Teressien before I retconned her, do you want to have any relevant Teressian characters remember her or not? I'm fine either way.
2. Just out of curiosity, what's Beyeha Fadwa Faris' beef with Aurelia?

Point 1, considering she was retconned, it of course begs the question, how much of her was retconned? Is she basically the same with only a few details changed or did her character do a complete 180?
Point 2, both are headstrong women, who started on the wrong foot with each other (Aurelia is half-Kyrenaian and there are circles, where such a distinction means a lot, circles, which Faris belongs to) and remained on that wrong foot especially after Aurelia refused Faris' son Khalid (who was quite okay with that). Adding salt into the wound, Aurelia also chose not only a "country hick" (her words) as her partner, but soon afterwards ditched him for another woman. Though one should add, that Faris does not want to kill or destroy Aurelia and that the two of them can hold civilized conversations, if the situation demands it.

Yep, Eiko is along for the ride - to quote (Darth) Maul. ; ) No, Sith-who-should-remain-cut-in-twain aside, it will be interesting to see, how he will now, more then a year after his collapse on a beach, interact and act with people, especially as the setting is far more formal and the dress code not as, shall we say, open hearted.

Ah, I never realized the time, so he'll probably still be relatively similar. That said, he's at least getting medicine, nowadays, and A Beach Feast was probably more casual than he's used to. Course, with Kasem and Kecbehet accompanying him he'll probably be noticeably less miserable until/unless someone/something ruins him again, since Park was inexperienced with dealing with him. It's probable we'll have a sight, but at least Kasem and Kebechet are here to help him cope, 'less they're somehow distracted, in which case...
I'll get my song mileage one way or another, ahah. I can't quite see that happening, though; Kebechet is not one who leaves behind those who suffer in dead silence.

My temptation to shove in Argonautilus for no reason rises steadily the more I think about it but this event looks too important for them to be reasonably and individually invited.

Hm... that could indeed be very interesting. Especially Eiko being a ticking time bomb, so to speak, but not many / no one ICly knowing of it. Though, on that topic, short question, how much did the general press talk about his collapse on the beach? In other words, would someone not from Ezhara, but who knows his music, be reasonably able to know of it?
