BIOGRAPHY
Victoria Dahlgren (originally Mill) was born September 1st, 1939 to Connor and Esther Mill. She was the middle child and first girl, leading to her being “spoiled” with what left over funds the parents had. When the bomb dropped on D.C. and her father reluctantly defected to the Reich, Victoria was raised to be a good Nazi woman in her new school following a new curriculum. Sunday services were replaced with the Reichchurch, leading to a collapse of the Christian faith in her and many laymen. She noticed her father slowly becoming more distant to her and her siblings as she grew older following his defection and early missions for the Reich.
Then, in 1955, young Victoria and her siblings were in for a shake up when their mother cheated on a depressed and somewhat erratic Connor Mill. The divorce followed soon after and the three Mill children were raised by their new SS stepfather. Victoria had become a keen interest to the new man as he began to teach her the Runes and Solstices in place of prayer and Christmas. She accepted these as well as newfound fatherly, if twisted, love and affection. He taught her a lot besides the “true Aryan and Germanic Faith you won’t find in the Reich Church”. He taught her how to handle herself in the world of SS politicking, how the only morals an SS Man and Woman should follow were to not harm your Volk and to serve the Reich and Order, no matter the cost. One lesson stood out in particular:
“Government forms do not matter. Morality does not matter. This law pertains to all races and people’s, to men and to women and it is the only law that counts in the end: Either you have power, or you don’t. If you have it, fight like hell to keep it, if you don’t, fight harder to get it.”
While she isn’t a true believer, she has “officially” adopted this new SS faith for appearances and to get a taste of that power in the Black Order. She intended to make her stepfather and the new regime proud. When she was old enough to be acceptable for marriage, she met UntersturmFührer Anton Dahlgren during one of her stepfathers parties and the two were set up to be married for a quid-pro-quo favors. They were married, not in the older Christian way, but according to the new SS custom. Connor reluctantly was in attendance and Esther, Victoria’s stepfather, and Anton’s parents couldn’t be prouder. Nine months after their wedding, Baldur and Emma were born to two proud SchutzStaffel parents, hoping they have a bright future under the Black Sun.

"So here's my story, in all of it's glory. I was born in a basement in Manhattan, my parents had disguised themselves as Arian Christians to the point everyone believed it. Hell, they even attended a Protestant Church every Sunday, and when we had guests over they always knew when to say "Heil Hitler, Heil America". Anyway, I grew up being told I wasn't wanted in society and if anyone ever figured out what I was I would be captured and put in one of those concentration camps, along with all of my family and friends. That fucked me up a bit. Anyway, for 20 years of my life we kept it hidden, that we were Jewish. Eventually someone got lucky. In a very dark sense I suppose. Anyway, some sick fuck turned us in as 'Jews and dissenters'. I don't know how he found out, he probably just wanted our fridge, and called us Jews. Regardless, that brought the SS 'round, and my father was shot when he tried to resist, while my mother, sister, and I were hauled into the back of a black car, tortured for a bit, and then put on a train to go to a concentration camp. I managed to escape by jumping out the side through a rotted wood panel, running into the woods. I would spend the next 3 weeks in the wilderness, surviving off of whatever I found. Eventually I made my way back to New York, when I came across a man, seeing my tattered prisoners garb, he tried to call the SS on me. I prevented him from doing so, and occupied his home for 2 days while I recovered. After taking some of his clothes, I went back into the city proper. This was about the time of the NYC Customs House Bombing, when I heard of this resistance organization, I couldn't help myself. I needed to strike back at the people who had taken my family from me. I began asking within Jewish circles, and I got put in contact with the resistance. After a strenuous interrogation I was allowed to join them. Even the grunt hit-jobs were good enough. Throwing a Molotov through the window of a junior SS officer's apartment was satisfying enough for me. Eventually I did it enough times that I got to be a Saboteur , or in layman's terms, I break shit that the Nazi's like. And that's been what I've been doing for several years now. Blowing up cars, assassination's via car-bombs, laying mines, burning documents. Basically anything to fuck with the Nazi's system."

I have had the honor of getting my fellow Jew into the relative safety of the neutral zone. I escorted them all the way from NYC to Montana. If I remember correctly it was a grocer and his wife and 2 kids that were under investigation by the SS, so we killed the guys surveilling them and snuck them out in the dead of night. It was about a two week trip, but we managed it. I returned to NYC shortly after, and here I have remained. I have yet to be captured, but I'll put that to the careful planning of CONTROL, whoever that guy is. Never met him, probably never will, but he's a smart one, no doubt. Anyway, not much besides that."

On the whole, I like the character!

However, I think the sheet should be improved a bit before I accept it. First and foremost, the formatting's wonky— could you revise so that the RP sample link is fixed, Kleinmann's answers aren't in bold, and the remaining italicized bits are deleted?

Second, I think there's a lot of potential with this concept, but I'd like to see it explored in more detail in the app, to demonstrate your command of the character.

From the General Information answers I get the sense that Kleinmann is a straightforward, laconic fellow; however, I think you could preserve this aspect of him while still giving us more detail.

For example— what does it mean to Kleinmann to be a good Jew? Specifically in this world, where Jewish people are facing persecution on an unprecedented scale? How has he maintained his traditions, and more importantly his faith in those traditions, against such long odds?

And what about his dream of killing Rockwell? Does he have a personal enmity against him, or is Rockwell simply the personification of all Kleinmann loathes?

What memories of his family does he hold onto?

Does he specifically want to restore the Old America, or does he ascribe to some other ideology he wants to see installed after the Reich's downfall?

Finally, when he escaped from the train, why were his mother and sister unable to escape with him? Did leaving them behind leave Kleinmann with any form of survivor's guilt?

"Oh, memories of my family? Well besides the traumatic ones like my father getting shot or my mother and sister's face as I fell from the side of the train....Huh, I need to think about this for a moment. Ah, here's a good one. When I was about 7, my family and I went on a roadtrip to Washington D.C to see the Washington Monument and the like. It was a cramped car, but it was a fun trip. My poor sister got a cold along the way, and we spent the better part of 3 hours looking for a place to stay. She recovered after a day, but it was one of those things that goes in the scrapbooks, ya know? Moving on, when we actually got to D.C, luckily with no more incidents, that was the first time I'd really seen the faces of some of the most well regarded leader's of America. Bella was born in Tuscan, Italy in 1931, she great up watching the war unfold before her and the triumph of the Axis powers. Her first taste of adventure was fighting against the allied invasion of Sicily when it went into occpuation by British and American forces. She proved useful in seducing Allied troops into ambush as well as particpating in a few direct firefights. When the war turned and Italy expanded it's territorys it became apparent they would need men and women like Bella. OVRA recruited her and sent her to New York to infiltrate Italian mob networks, something that the Duce hated. She currently works targeting Italians who resist the new order, political dissidents as well as working side by side with the Gestapo against resistance networks.

When the bomb dropped on D.C. and her father reluctantly defected to the Reich, Victoria was raised to be a good Nazi woman in her new school following a new curriculum. Sunday services were replaced with the Reichchurch, leading to a collapse of the Christian faith in her and many laymen. In 1955, young Victoria and her siblings were in for a shake up when their mother cheated on a depressed and somewhat erratic Connor Mill. The divorce followed soon after and the three Mill children were raised by their new SS father. Victoria had become a keen interest to the new man as he began to teacher her the Runes and Solstices in place of prayer and Christmas. While she isn’t a true believer, she has “officially” adopted this new SS faith for appearances and to get a taste of power in the Black Order. When she was old enough she met UntersturmFührer Anton Dahlgren during one of her fathers parties and the two were eventually married according to the SS custom, with Connor reluctantly in attendance and Esther proud. Nine months after their wedding, Baldur and Emma were born to two proud SchutzStaffel parents, hoping they have a bright future under the Black Sun.

I'm confident you have a strong concept for this character, but I'd like to see more of it translated to the app. Generally, just a bit more detail.

Some ideas for enfleshing the character:
-The connection with her SS stepfather is very interesting, I think it's a great area for detail. I.e., how did Victoria bond so suddenly with her new dad? Typically that's a stumbling block for step-fathers. Maybe she had a very close relationship with her previous father, but as she grew older, Connor ignored her more and more, leaving her with a void that the step-father more than filled? Also, I'm guessing that her guile and power-lust later in life originated from him. Maybe expand on that; it would be a good opportunity to leave a specific anecdote, a moment where her step-father taught her a lesson that stuck with her for the rest of her life, words she now lives by.
-Expand on her marriage to Dahlgren. They have different religions, which is atypical for the gender norms of the Reich; this would be a good opportunity to explore how Victoria might domineer her husband. Otherwise, what is their relationship like? What, if anything did she see in him? How did the couple's parents react to the marriage?

He may be aging, but my father has a spark which you do not see in many men. It reminds me of that which you see in men like your country’s leader, or in the Führer himself. I would have liked for him to remain Prime Minister, but that is said and done...now he is requesting that the Shah return him to the command of the Expeditionary Force! BIOGRAPHY
Ardeshir Zahedi was born to a wealthy and politically connected family in the affluent imperial city of Hamedan. His childhood was spent mostly with a string of European tutors, from whom his western tastes and language skills were received. At the age of 18, he was sent to the Reich to attend Freiburg University, where he studied philosophy.

Upon his return to Iran, he was given a commission with the Iranian Royal Guard as a setoon (lieutenant), a position which he held for four years, during which he impressed the Shah with his worldliness and intelligence. During this time he also befriended the Shah’s heir apparent, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. This allowed him to be granted an appointment as a liaison officer between the Imperial Iranian Army and the Kingdom of Italy, for which he was stationed in Rome for four years. During this time he courted and married Princess Shahnaz, in a semi-arranged marriage, while she studied at an Italian finishing school.

In 1959, he Zahedi returned to Iran, and was appointed as an advisor and assistant to the new Shah, his friend. Two years later, perhaps to remove him from the country to protect him and the Princess from increasing fascist pressure against the monarchy, Zahedi was appointed as the Iranian Ambassador to the American Reich. He has recently arrived in New York, and has already gained a reputation for being lavish, enjoying the relative freedom offered in New York relative to the increasingly isolated and enclosed world found in the palaces of Tehran.

BIOGRAPHY
Bella was born in Tuscan, Italy in 1931, she great up watching the war unfold before her and the triumph of the Axis powers. Her first taste of adventure was fighting against the allied invasion of Sicily when it went into occpuation by British and American forces. She proved useful in seducing Allied troops into ambush as well as particpating in a few direct firefights. When the war turned and Italy expanded it's territorys it became apparent they would need men and women like Bella. OVRA recruited her and sent her to New York to infiltrate Italian mob networks, something that the Duce hated. She currently works targeting Italians who resist the new order, political dissidents as well as working side by side with the Gestapo against resistance networks.

Interesting app, I like the idea of an Italian character.

However there are a few tweaks that will need to be made to the concept. First, the American invasion of Italy wouldn't have occurred in this timeline. However it's still possible Bella collaborated with the government against anti-fascist partisans if you wanted her to have that experience. Next, let's change the assignment from OVRA sending her to New York, which would be way outside its jurisdiction, to the Gestapo filing a request for an Italian agent to help infiltrate the mob. Which brings me to the character's gender. Outside of honey pot-type schemes, it would be nearly impossible for a woman to infiltrate the Italian mafia.

It might be easiest to change the character's gender. However, if you're set on a female OVRA agent, I would change the mission type. After all, Italy and the Reich aren't the closest of allies. It might prove all the more interesting if Bella's mission is to spy not on resistance networks, but on the Reich itself. Maybe she's completely undercover, or maybe she poses as a Reich collaborator, that would be up to you.

Regardless of what you do with the concept, however, the details will need to be greatly expanded. I'd suggest comparing your application to some of those which have been accepted:

"In 1947, after the fall of the US government, HH temprarily went underground, feeling that his sale of aircraft to the US government and his help in retooling emergency factories would fail to ingratiate himself with the German occupiers. Since the Gestapo at the time lacked the manpower and resources to track down all most wanted individuals, HH managed to outlast us for a year. However, HH failed to recognise that the new US government required skilled individuals, and that many of those had either died or fled abroad. That, or they were deemed to be so unreliable that they were shipped off to concentrionsanlager. Outside of some southern governors, the new National Socialist government lacked the support of entrenched figures, which it desperately needed. Somehow, HH seemed to sence this, as he turned himself in near Atlanta in March 1948. Using his considerable reserves as leverage, he not only managed to get himself a pardon, but he also joined the New Elite of officers, business magnates and National Socialist sympathisers. At first, his support for the New Order was only unofficial; he ran his company in accordance with National Socialist principles, and the Gestapo would help him bust unions. With his company he became another arm for the government, another way in which the lines between public and private blurred in the US. In 1951, he managed to get himself positioned as the director of the new American national airline, which saw the combination of assets of all national, interstate airliners. In 1954, he was tapped for the job of minister of production, which he managed to combine with his existing title. Since then, his policy has been to fully intergrate the Us production apparatus with the state apparatus. The collaboration between the capitalists and government is vital for the system to stay functional. By providing work and resources, with products at a discount for the government, the private sector helps the public. In return, the government has removed many labour protection laws, and unions have been outlawed. I cannot help but notice that the private sector seems to get a lot more out of this than the government, which makes you wonder why they put up with democracy in the first place. Regardless, HH has shown himself a remarkable National Socialist and a reliable business partner, but one who cannot help but measure himself as an equal rather than a subordinate of the Reichrsführer, who is keenly aware that he is not yet in the position to take on the powerful magnates. Not yet, at least. Political developments in Germany might alter the balance of power in that regard.

Interesting. There would need to be a compelling reason for this resistance group to horn in on CONTROL's racket, and so I recommend you work closely with Norv in developing this concept.

That said, resistance figures butting heads is always a good source of conflict.

Indeed. It’s also be realistic. A lot of resistance movements (especially with competent or conflicting religions, ideologies, races, etc) would spend as much time shooting or fighting each other as the enemy. Would be interesting to see how CONTROL would handle his cells fighting each other (say ALF and CBD cells meeting and deciding each other is also a valid enemy.)

Memorandum from the State Department

With the danger in New York steadily rising we have been given permission by the American Reich out of safety concerns to extend the embassy with the construction of a residential row. Obviously, we couldn't publicly announce the move with the real reason for it unless we want the insurgents to gain morale. The city is stable for now, but we expect upon the Fuhrer's death for tensions in the Fatherland to rise sharply. We cannot rule out having to evacuate key personnel if the American Reich cannot get underground insurgent activity on their soul under control.

Occupation: Ambassador of the Pacific States to the American Reich. Mr. Disney also retains significant investment in the emerging entertainment industry within the Pacific States often considered far laxer, and provocative than the American Reich's standards would allow, but to Walt, cartoons are the lifeblood of the American people even if they are divided. In the late 50s due in part to the damage from the war in California finally being recovered Mr. Disney opened up a gargantuan theme park known as AmericaLand. Often the source of tourism by the citizens, and subjects of the wider Japanese empire along with the occasional members of the Reich due to its stunningly accurate portrayal of pre-war culture, albeit romanticized. Lately, he has been pestering the Reich about a project called "the monorail", and property acquisition for a plan to build a city like no other.

Religion: As required by the census within the Pacific States the ambassador's official religious beliefs are in line with congregational Christianity. Often found within the Pacific States, and the Neutral Zone due in part to the churches laity based focused. Of course, this contradicts the official religious policy of the American Reich, but being an ambassador does have privileges. However, in keeping with religious harmony, the ambassador has been requested to keep such beliefs present within the embassy. In order to accommodate him, and the staff the work to maintain the embassy a private chapel has been constructed on the grounds.

Greatest fear? The collapse of the current order not because it's undeserving of it, but because millions will die in the resulting chaos. The stories of those who managed to flee to the Pacific State seem to imply that the dark heart of rumors from Europe has their tendrils in America as well.

Most intimate ambition? If not a united America at least one that is free. Some estimate that even if the American Reich somehow united the former U.S it would collapse in a decades time, and quite violently at that. The Pacific States isn't in any better straits, but the preference of Japanese soft power has allowed many people to not only survive but thrive.

Loyalty? Officially to the Pacific States since he represents their interests to the counterpart next door. Hopes for a period of stability, and autonomy for the pacific states to ensure their development as a proper member of the co-prosperity sphere.

Three defining traits: Shy, and self-deprecating in the private sphere, but acts grandiose, and large at life with the public. Often humble, and in private genuinely disturbed by how to change the former United States is within the territory held by the American Reich.

Walt Disney in pre-war times planned his city of the future to wow the world but now wants to do it simply to spite the hopeless social Darwinism infesting the former United States. To Walt, a better country is one where artists are free to pursue their passions, people are free to live in peace, and the scientist free to pursue technological innovation without conforming to ideas which are clearly pseudoscience. Using his position as an ambassador can be beneficial especially if someone needs a hastened passport to escape the Reich's oppressive eugenics policies. Walt is loyal not so much to the Pacific States out of loyalty to the emperor, but loyal to what it can become, an even better version of the United States...people need to realize the American Reich isn't an ideal future unless you like marching off entire neighborhoods because of their skin color.

For much of his life, Disney spent building up an empire on the pacific coast or west coast of the United States as it used to be known. He helped comfort people as the depression crippled the morale of the country and even went on to build an animation studio. When the United States was at war with the Reich, and Japan he was involved in a propaganda warfare campaign via his cartoons, but ultimately it proved futile. As the Japanese entered Los Angeles he fully expected the city to be butchered given the Japanese reputation at Nanking and other cities. Despite the end of the war however the resistance in the early years was horrendous, and in southern California, the Imperial Army was finally able to pacify major holdouts by the mid-1950s. With the end of the rebellion at least on the large scale, the administration turns from wartime priorities to different matters.

The Golden Proclamation issued out of imperial command stationed in San Francisco called for the creation of an interim government within the Japanese zone of control. Within a short span of time, the Pacific States were formed with the capital being stationed in San Francisco. The military command subdivided itself to respond to appropriate threats as the civilian leadership began to take hold.

BIOGRAPHY
Ardeshir Zahedi was born to a wealthy and politically connected family in the affluent imperial city of Hamedan. His childhood was spent mostly with a string of European tutors, from whom his western tastes and language skills were received. At the age of 18, he was sent to the Reich to attend Freiburg University, where he studied philosophy.

Upon his return to Iran, he was given a commission with the Iranian Royal Guard as a setoon (lieutenant), a position which he held for four years, during which he impressed the Shah with his worldliness and intelligence. During this time he also befriended the Shah’s heir apparent, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. This allowed him to be granted an appointment as a liaison officer between the Imperial Iranian Army and the Kingdom of Italy, for which he was stationed in Rome for four years. During this time he courted and married Princess Shahnaz, in a semi-arranged marriage, while she studied at an Italian finishing school.

In 1959, he Zahedi returned to Iran, and was appointed as an advisor and assistant to the new Shah, his friend. Two years later, perhaps to remove him from the country to protect him and the Princess from increasing fascist pressure against the monarchy, Zahedi was appointed as the Iranian Ambassador to the American Reich. He has recently arrived in New York, and has already gained a reputation for being lavish, enjoying the relative freedom offered in New York relative to the increasingly isolated and enclosed world found in the palaces of Tehran.
