Semi Finals 1 & 2 for the Landa vy Polkopiya have both concluded, meaning that it's time to reveal who will be qualifying to the Grand Final for a chance to win one of Polkopia's biggest annual music award shows in the country. The winner of the Landa vy Polkopiya will have the opportunity to represent Polkopia at the Worldvision Song Contest - the largest music competition in the multiverse! This edition, the Landa vy Polkopiya drew interest from eight different nations, with each of them sending a team of music experts to vote on who was to qualify for the Grand Final. The two qualifying acts from each semi-final are decided in this matter, whereas the Wildcard spot is awarded to a non-qualifying entry that the Polkopian jury feels as if though it deserves a place in the Grand Final. With the four qualifiers and one Wildcard spot, there are to be five acts competing in the Grand Final, each of them vying for the top spot in the competition.

RENA LORAK RETURNS TO WORLDVISION

The most recent edition of the Landa vy Polkopiya has come to an end, and with it, Polkopia's entry to the next Worldvision Song Contest has been decided. Rena Lorak, who represented Polkopia last edition and placed third, will be returning to the competition once more, where she will sing Temperatura. Unlike last Landa vy Polkopiya, this edition she secured her lead in both the domestic televote and the international jury votes, earning 142 points in total, 20 points higher than second-place song, Požniy. Unlike her winning song last edition, Temperatura will not undergo a lyrical alteration and will be performed at Worldvision without any sort of change.

Host voting for Worldvision opens up on Monday, 21st December, 20:00 GMT and the show is set to begin on December 28th. Details about the Polkopian entry can be found below:

OFFICIAL APOLOGY FROM THE ALEZIAN BROADCASTING AUTHORITY

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
We from the Alezian Broadcasting Authority are releasing this statement in order to acknowledge and apologize for our mistakes and to vow to never repeat it again hopefully in the future, we are not mistake-proof, and we might accidentally make this terrible mistake once again.

As you can remember, the Alezian Broadcasting Authority held a national final called "ALEZIMANIA" to choose the nation's representative for the Worldvision Song Contest (It was used to search for the World Hit Festival as well, however we decided to stop finding WHF entrants for now due to a more profound success with a simple internal selection). The contest has been going for five seasons including the present season.

We are very glad to hold such competition that has been met with positive international acclaim. However, it is our mistake that this season, we forgot to enter two juries into the screen at voting, and our mistake not to recheck the list of countries that has voted, and thus, we forgot to enter the votes from Pemecutan and Rhim Flavezztowland, which both countries being a great musical potential power.

We would like to apologize to all juries especially the juries from the aforementioned nations that we as a national broadcaster could make a very fatal mistake. We would also like to appreciate all the juries for voting and helping us finding the best North Alezian entry for Worldvision, and with this statement, we would like to release the official, fixed results of Alezimania Season 5.

1st Place: Tel Hadiv = 108 points
2nd Place: Zafizamarrah = 81 points
3rd Place: Pyalivostok = 76 points
4th Place: Basna = 74 points
5th Place: Bristol = 71 points
6th Place: Aramna = 70 points

The results show that with the additional votes, Tel Hadiv with the song "No" is still declared the winner of this season's Alezimania. However, thanks to the votes, the previous tiebreakers are gladfully broken and we can send consolidation prizes to the proper artists.

In conclusion, the entire board of the Alezian Broadcasting Authority felt ashamed and would like to apologize for this fatal mistake, and we pray that this accident won't ever happen again.

Interviewing the 87th WorldVision Song Contest representative wasn't the only thing that happened during the show yesterday. We also had a chance to speak to Alex Valentin who had co-written the song behind the entry that is now for the 88th WorldVision Song Contest. He confirmed that Britonisea will be sending the song "Vengeance", further confirming that he will provide vocals in the song along with a female vocalist who will be announced later on when the song is revealed. After a hiatus from WorldVision, the United Republics is back with a new song to share with the world.



This edition's submission is a band from the republic of Saishikara. They're called Sarkovona. They're from metropolitan Sahana City and formed 7 years ago as a duo between Michael Sarkovona (27) and Rowan Sarkovona (27). Michael played the lead guitar and was a backup singer while Rowan was the bass player and main vocals, and they used synthetic drum software before they added Garrett Mraz (26) as the drummer 5 years ago, forming the trio.

Their submission "Philosophy" follows their stressful college life, basically. Garrett in an interview with BCBC said that he dropped out of college 3 years ago to focus more on music. Michael and Rowan co-wrote the middle and latter part of the song while Garrett wrote the earlier part of the song and the chorus.

So we'll see how they will perform once the contest rolls around.

The Folkandish broadcaster AVF (Audio and Video of the Folkanders) that includes national radio and television stations of Saintrabina (SAVF), Christarnea (KAVF), Rusmailica (RAVF) and Lotnuscora (LAVF) has decided to bring back the Folkandish nations to the Worldvision and participate in the 87 edition of this international show. In cooperation with the music recording company FolkAuds the broadcaster has internally chosen two entries out of four sent by the member stations.
