I wanted to make a second character but the role of physician was already reserved by someone else even before the app was made. Hey Laz, you need a physician’s assistant?

Seems like Laz's char is more of a field medic than medical doctor so we could probably have both. Though that is reserved ya so maybe wait on that to see if they app it. One thing I was thinking of apping(but you certainly could instead) is a psychiatrist, if you're interested in that.

Judging by other character responses, it’s now canon that Gwyd thinks he does a good job of disguising how he feels, but his ear flaps turn red or upper nostrils flair every time he looks at someone he doesn’t like.

I assumed that, with Nix, it would have just been a very curt way of talking he doesn't do with others.

Made one of these things for Monica too. As you can see, she has fairly hostile thoughts about most people In other news, also added Doc Gwyd to the character list in the second post.

Current plan is to have it up in the next few days - hopefully before the weekend rolls around. Though no exact date at the moment.

Amanda Rollins- "I don't trust people who only care about money, but something else seems to be driving her as well. There's a fire in her. She'll need to be watched until we can figure out what that motivation is."

Benedikte Schrödinger- "She exemplifies what my people hate about humans, but they just don't like things they can't control. If she doesn't blow up the ship she'll likely save it at one point or another. Let's hope it's the second one."

Diego Losada- ""The Panther', I'll admit he has managed to look tougher than most humans. But here is another merc, and with types like this you can never know what it'll take for them to point their gun at you."

Erina Altoch- "Smart, but she seems to lack confidence. Plus if she wants to pretend that robot of hers is not an AI she should get better at hiding it."

Errol Wyrick- "I like him, glad they at least thought to make the cook someone I can trust. But I get the sense that even the cook has his baggage, wouldn't be here otherwise."

Gwydion Palon- "It's good to have a medic, but the Confederation types probably won't like him. Seems like a typical Therian though, and one you can trust when it counts."

Howie Bronte- "The Humans thought it made sense to hand me someone with a bomb in their neck? That's not how you inspire loyalty. I'll make it clear who is in charge, and I don't need a bomb."

I-256- "As long is it remembers I'm in charge we're fine. AI aren't much different than organics, both can be insufferable."

Illvara Bray- "Her file is... disturbing. Humans love creating monsters, but that's not the monsters' fault. As long she is pointed at the enemy and takes orders she is fine with me."

Karu Na'tala- "Seems a bit strange an Acux, but her abilities are interesting. It's refreshing to find a Confederate who handles cybernetics properly."

Kennedy Minthis Ogallagy Harper- "Heh, Humans and their 'connections'. I don't know why they think I need some academic to do this job, but at least he seems like he has a sense of humor."

Monica Lantrix- "I know humans can be cruel... But there is no excuse for what's in her file. She embraced the hell she was put in though for better or worse, anyone who treats her like a damsel in distress is an idiot but won't be one for long."

Nix Aleveni- "It's strange for a human to embrace our ways, but children don't chose who raises them. I don't get all the cloak and dagger stuff though, but that's her business."

Tiasha Nuvonn- "We'd be fools to trust her, but bigger fools to think we don't need her help."

Tiquo Tengwelai- "Calmer than most Quaret, hasn't challenged me to an arm wrestling contest yet. Strange, but seems trustworthy and I don't say that often."

Vincent Valstrad- "Smart and thoughtful, seems like a rare combinations for humans. He was screwed over but it didn't change who he was. I respect that."

In all fairness Monica didn't comment on him not being a cutthroat or anything, just that it was rare Likewise, Gwyd's comment didn't necessarily mention any of that, only called him exemplary. You could reasonably substitute human in there for example. And Erina just said that he's less threatening than the others, never spoke about his species.

Eh, I figured the first impressions were private opinions. Doc Gwyd’s first public reaction to pretty much everyone would be pretty bland.

That being said, I mean, Tiquo is a member of a species of giant warlike space lizards. It’s like if your block was owned by 1920s Italian mobsters and then one of them opens up a 100% legitimate crime-free pizzeria. You’re going to enjoy the pizza, but you’re going to be a little surprised, yeah?

Favourite food? - A seafood spread. She is especially a fan of the large oysters from Aerius and sturgeon caviar from old Earth.
Favourite hobby? - Tiasha started to play the violin when she was very young, and she finds the ancient instrument to be both soothing and a good way to help her either focus or relax. Over the years, she’s become quite the capable musician, but her performances are only ever really meant for herself. If she's to do something with someone else, she's always open to a good game of chess.

Amanda - “It’s never a good idea to let personal politics get in the way of business. But she’s hardly the first one to make that mistake.”
Benedikte - “She’s very talented. Her skills could make her a small fortune if she put them to use for the right buyer and wasn’t too squeamish. I should reach out some time.”
Diego - “His name precedes him. I’ve recommended him for quite a few clients in the past, and his record speaks for itself. The man is an effective bodyguard and doesn’t ask many unnecessary questions.”
Erina - “The girl’s smart, but she’s still figuring out that the galaxy doesn’t work like it does in fairy tales. The Abyss should teach her that pretty quickly. Or it’ll kill her. One or the other.”
Errol - “A noxial chef? It’s an interesting line of work for one of his kind, but he’s exceptionally well qualified. I bet people would be clamouring over themselves to hire him if he was at all interested in selling his services.”
Gwydion - “A skilled doctor. I’m sure that he’ll be in very high demand, although I wonder if he’d be interested in taking any additional jobs on the side? Some of his medications could also fetch a good price at market.”

I-256 - “An AI like her doesn’t come cheap. Someone has put a lot of resources into a brand new mercenary company, and I don’t doubt for a second that they’re not telling me the whole story. But if they’re willing to do the jobs and get results, then I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.”
Illvara - “I remember the chaos she brought to the King of the Hill betting markets! She nearly crashed the industry with how much she skewed the results. I heard that some of the organizers were discussing ways to force her into early retirement with how much her matches ate into their profits.”
Karu - “Karu is one of the best pilots in the Abyss, and she knows it. She doesn’t come cheap, but she could run a tanker past a blockade if she needed to. What made her decide to throw her lot in with a brand new company, I wonder?”
Kennedy - “He’s been spoilt, but the kid’s smart. If they can reign him in and put him to good use, I wouldn’t under-estimate his value to the team. But that last name of his could just as easily bring them unwanted attention.”
Monica - “It’s a shame what she went through, I admit it. But people feeling sorry for her aren't going to do her any favours. The universe isn’t going to go easy on her out of pity. She has skills, and she doesn’t care who the target is. A combination like that could make her rich.”
Nix - “A rogue android? Now that is intriguing. Make a note: if she gets disabled during a mission, put in an offer for her body.”
Regar - “Ah, the Captain. A fallen soldier and patriot who was dismissed and humiliated by his superiors. Well, that’s their loss. He’s got a stubborn pride, but his record is otherwise sparkling (when not coated in black ink).”
Tiquo - “People tend to see the Quaret as nothing but violent pirates and brutes, so end up surprised when they see someone like Tiquo. The reality is that Quaret society places the greatest value on two things: power and money. A good merchant can accumulate plenty of both.”
Vincent - “Oh, please. He’s got a stubborn affixation with some internal code, even after so clearly having been burned by the system he claims to protect. It would almost be admirable if it wasn’t so stupid. But as long as he doesn’t cross my clients, I don’t care. If he wants to play the noble lawman, fine - but I won’t put up with any holier-than-thou attitudes. Morals and codes aren’t luxuries that most people can afford.”
