Dispatches by Michael Herr is one of the best books I've ever read.

I enjoyed Stephen King's "The Stand" a lot. Really thick one, depending on your native language it can go up to over 1700 pages, but I personally found it awesome. It's also one of his more "creative" works (I'm lacking a better expression here); the reason why I'm not the biggest King fan is his extremely clichéd and oftentimes unnecessarily absurd representation of the supernatural, focusing on being controversial rather than atmospheric.

I'm currently reading Dracula. It's pretty good. A little hard to get used to the POV changes but otherwise I've liked it.
