In an Alternate 1847, the prelude to revolution is altered by two factors: One, the fatal weakening of the Ottoman Empire, and Two, the near-completion of an earlier Suez Canal due to a deal between Britain and the then-viceroy of Egypt, Muhammad Ali Pasha, in which the British wink and nod at the Ottomans' downfall in exchange for the construction of said Canal. This year has given the Egyptians independence from the Ottomans and seven years of hegemony over their portion of the Middle East, even as the rest of the world barely changes from its original path - Or does it?

In this Nation Roleplay, you can take control of any IRL country in the year 1847, with a point of divergence which allows you to alter how the past went up to 1840, and take your nation down the road you choose. Play a European Great Power, or a rising nation in the Americas', or even a nation trying to resist colonial power in the Africas and Asia - The world is yours'!

Welcome fellow RPers to the Land of Presidents RP. In this RP you will create a character that will run for your political party's nomination and for president! You will go through the Primary debates and if you don't win your party's nomination, you are automatically first in line for the next election. During the primaries, you will appoint (create) your Vice President. If you win the primary, you will move on to Presidential debates. Before the Presidential Debates, you will create a Voters Pamphlet information page where you will list your elected experience, your other work experience, your community sevie, as well as your VP's experience, and also have a statement of what you will do if you are elected as president. We will hold polls for each debate and polls for Electoral College votes. If you win the election, you will write an overview of what happens in the four years of your presidency. Welcome to the NSFC Tournament! In this tournament, you will create a fighter and have them go up against the best of the world! Now, you may be asking, "What is the NSFC?". The NSFC is the NationStates Fighting Championship!

For the tournament, we will be using the Champions League format to progress through the tournament. For those who do not know the format, it starts with groups stages in which the fighters will be chosen at random and they will fight. Win a fight, and you will score 5 points, lose a fight, and score 2 points. The fighter with the most points at the end of the group stages will move on to the knockout rounds. In the knockout rounds, there will be a random generator to pick the matchups. Eah match up will have two fights, one in your fighter's F.O.F. city and one in your opponent's. If one of the fighters manage to win both fights, then they automatically move on to the next round. If one does not, there will be a third fight, and whoever wins the fight will move on to the next round. We will do this continually until there are two fighters left in the tournament. For the Championship Fight, we will use 5 rounds (instead of 3), and whoever wins the fight, wins the Tournament!

Description
This is a Resident Evil inspired RP, which essentially means it doesn't follow canon with any games/movies/comics, and is mostly of my own creation. The only things I pull from the lore are monsters, factions, places, and maybe certain characters. This RP seeks to imagine what would happen to the world if the Raccoon City outbreak wasn't contained and the virus proceeded to spread all across the world. It takes place a couple of years after the initial outbreak and thus the world is pretty much fully infected by now, the only survivors being those in factions or those who somehow got lucky.

In the 23rd century, humanity dominates much of the galaxy thanks to the help of advanced genetic engineering and a powerful microorganism known as the acrtisite that can give individuals incredible powers. Each of these great powers attempted to one up each other's empires, humans with genetics and the Elnoi with cybernetics. Chaos erupted in the form of the 20 years war and a number of star systems gained independence and became known as the Abyss. The Abyss is a lawless collective of systems where chaos is norm. Description
The date is 002.M42, barely two years have passed since Abbadon, Champion of the foul warp gods of chaos, finished his 13th black crusade and broke the fortress world of Cadia. With its fall, the Eye of Terror expanded across the galaxy, splitting the Emperors realm in half. Hordes of of unholy creatures of chaos have sense flooded the realm of men, putting nearly the entire Imperium under siege. But the Imperium has not sat idle during this time of great strife, deep in the Segmentum Pacificus lies the Almoran Sector, a sector long in the hands of the Imperium. This is no longer the case.

In the lead up to the fall of Cadia, a sector wide revolt occurred. Cultists and followers of all four foul gods of the warp rose up in unison to overthrow the Emperors righteous rule. In hindsight the growth of such a foul tumor in the Sector was most likely overlooked by corrupted officials in the sector. At nearly the same time, in a move that no man can rightfully call a coincidence, brutish Ork vessels fell out of the warp and assaulted much of the Sector that had not fallen to the heretics. They are lead by a massive Warboss called Igor Ribbrekka who has lead his foul species against undermanned and ill equipped PDF forces who still managed to valiantly hold of the Xenos attack long enough for distress signals to be sent.

In a show of true piety and fealty to the Imperium, much of the local forces near the Sector immediately pledged their full support in retaking the sector. Already a crusade has been called for Almora, and in good time the Emperors light shall shine fully upon the sector again.

Greetings comrades! This, my friends, is a reboot of the old "Point of Divergence" RP. The fourth time, actually. It utilizes the concept of ISOT (a common alternative history term taken from Stirling's Island In the Sea of Time trilogy) to make a nation RP that should produce interesting results, and operates somewhat like a sandbox. Anyhow, what might the term ISOT mean?

Essentially, an ISOT involves taking a large area of land, say an island or a country, and sending it back or forward in time to another era. This usually also results in the land from that time being sent back to 'now' to replace that country, but this is not necessarily part of the definition.

For example, a scenario with the premise of “2006 Germany ISOTed to 1942” would mean that the territory of 2006 Germany replaces that of 1942 Germany. This would serve as a set up for a story, where the ISOTed 2006 Germany and the rest of the 1942-Earth have to react to this strange event and to each other's presence. Coping with the ensuing culture shock and various differences would also be a major issue, especially early on in the story. Incidentally, this kind of “coping with the aftermath of an ISOT” is a very common theme (or trope) in works that use it.

Description
The world is now devoid of electricity, following an immense solar storm that lasts to this day. Humanity, however, was not catapulted back to the stone age. Not strange, since consumer electronics were only invented quite recently, and it was not the computer that powered the early industrial revolution. Still much damage has been done, and people woke up to a day unlike any other day before in human history. Nations will have to navigate this unknown world with no map to guide them by.

Welcome to the SHADOW OF THE REICH. This is an alternate history roleplay in which the Axis achieved victory in WWII and conquered America, establishing the vassal state known as the American Reich in place of the United States. Players will take control of a leader or citizen of the capital of New York, attempting to navigate and survive the treacherous cloak-and-dagger politics of the Reich.

How the Nazis won is not terribly important; players need not memorize any new battles, events, or timetables which turned the course of the war. All that is clearly defined is that Franklin D. Roosevelt was assassinated before he ever became President, allowing the Great Depression to ravage America all the way until 1947, when Nazi "liberators" took control of the continent.

The American lieutenants of the Reich must brace themselves to endure the impending crisis, and perhaps gamble by aligning themselves with one of the Führer's hopeful heirs, Himmler, Göring, Goebbels, or Bormann. All the while, sedition boils beneath the Reich's surface, and the tighter Germany grips America, the more tenuous her grasp becomes.

Description
Welcome to the first season of The Transformers RP; the first in a series of planned episodic stories. To begin the series, we go back to where it all started; the Eruption of Mount St Helens in 1980. The Autobots and Decepticons will over the course of season 1 fight to protect or plunder the Earth with the goal of eventually returning home. Once the story has progressed back to Cybertron, Season 2 will begin.

You may choose to play as an existing character from somewhere in the Transformers lore (except for Beast Wars stuff, at least for this first season) or indeed create your own character. If you require any assistance, please flick me a message.

Description
The country of Valania is in turmoil. Following a decade of economic collapse and political violence, all out civil war has broken out between the many factions of the nation. This is the era of political and social upheaval worldwide, and Valania, having already gone through this phase not too long ago, is fracturing once again. It is either up to a new generation of leaders to decide the fate of this country now, or to return to an old order where times were much simpler. The fate of Valania rests in the coming years. The country sits at the crossroads of ideologies and movements, and any ambitious leaders have the opportunity to rise and lead the nation to a new era of glory.
