Porter, between his events, had decided to host a virtual townhall, which was advertised and targeted at the key groups he needed to win the primary, specifically evangelical Christians in Super Tuesday states, especially Texas and South Carolina.

He began to speak, at the scheduled time, he sat very casually, staring at the webcam and wearing a regular shirt and trousers rather than a full suit:

"Thank you, everyone, for having me here. May God bless you all and your family. It is important that we, as a country, look ahead to the challenges in front of us and look to the Lord himself for guidance. It is important, too, that our public servants do this as well, which is why I am supporting the Ten Commandments in public buildings in order to ensure a more moral country.

However, this isn't a rally or a policy speech, this is a town hall. So, America, what would you like to ask me today?"

If you think policies that are meant to target these groups are racist, and that somehow targeting criminals means targeting black people, targeting drug cartels means targeting Mexican immigrants and targeting terrorists means you're targeting Muslims...That means you're the racist, not me."

The Congressional Office of Thomas Volker, Washington D.C.

“Well, it’s good to know that you’re concerned about the House Republican Conference, Congressman. However, I wouldn’t be, we’ve managed to get a good deal of work done whilst keeping the House Republicans united, after all, you only need to look recently to see that we managed to pass the Murder Sentencing Act despite being in a minority in the House. I’ll be frank with you, Representative, from what I’ve seen of you so far, I like you, you also came highly recommended from none other than Congressman Dietrich, my Minority Whip, and with him potentially retiring from Congress come this November, I’d like for the two of us to work together. Now, of course I understand that you might be dissatisfied with how things went but I’d appreciate it if we were able to work together, and allow me to avoid having to find someone else to do your job.” Volker said in a firm yet respectful tone as he also stood up, stretching his hand out for Walker to shake.

“Incidentally, I think it’s probably for the best if we start to meet regularly and go over the legislative docket so we can reach a consensus on the bills the House Republican leadership is prioritising. Would you be interested?”

Chip Renfus
Washington, DC

Chip walked through the halls of congress, heading towards the office of a certain Congressman running to become a Senator. On his way there, there was no doubt someone of the staffers may have noticed he looked more dressed up than normal, forgoing the jeans for dress pants and a blazer. Of course, what they didn't know, or at least what he hoped they didn't know, was that he was heading out for a "date" with the "Mrs" later that evening.

Arriving at the Congressman's office he greeted the Secretary and asked if the Senatorial Hopeful was in for their meeting.

Randy Cramp Hispanic Outreach
El Paso, Texas

Image

Randy's big plan for taking down Joe Frankston hit a bump in the round. He wasn't expecting the announcement of Crawford Clay into the Texas Senate Race and already, he was at a statistical tie with Cramp, sapping away at what conservative support he had. Still, though technically ahead, there was a great way to go - but the campaign believed that it was only up from there. The Cramp Camp had summarized that the current support for Frankston was based on apathy, not policy, and that most people most likely believed that, that was Frankston Senior running for re-election. To carve out his own little niche outside of evangelical voters, Randy and the campaign visited El Paso, Texas, the largest Hispanic city in the state. It would be a good starting places to get the campaign ready and rearing once again. The first stop was in El Paso was to a food shelter, where many poor Hispanic people would rely on free food to help subsist.

Randy arrived at the food shelter, run by a local church, and volunteered with the people working there. The campaign took many pictures of Randy handing out cans of non-perishable foods to those in need and chatting with local voters. This would do well in improving his image, beyond the crass and even combative presence he gave in the Republican Debates last time. Following his time volunteering, he spoke with the church-goers that ran the charity and the soup kitchen, telling them that they would have his full support if he were the Senator for Texas - and how the government should be doing less on their part and instead subsidize the amazing work they were doing. That went down quite well with that audience, many of whom were Hispanic, conservative and religious. After having finished volunteering, the campaign took a video of him standing out the front: "Hi, this is another Randy Cramp update from the campaign trail. I was just at God's Graces Church here in El Paso, handing out food to those in need during this time. It's volunteering that really brings you back to your roots, that's the community on the grass-level and I totally support all they are doing. But it's not just them - it's countless other organisations who are helping to alleviate the pandemic of poverty and homelessness. I pray for all of those impacted. The government needs to be supporting these people more - not kickin' them to curb. As Senator, I'm going to take poverty seriously."

Next on the agenda was a rally with Hispanic supports and outreach. It was planned to attract primarily Hispanic-Americans and the advertisements for the event were in Spanish as well as English. The stage was set, but before Randy took to the stage, a Latino surrogate spoke to the crowd first to warm them up for Randy's entrance.

"Thank you, El Paso, for coming today to listen to Justice Randy Cramp. I've known Mr Cramp for a long time, and I can vouch for his good character and personal commitment to the people of Texas. He's a fighter, that's why he has not given up on the people of Texas, that's why he's fighting for our values constantly, even if it jeopardizes his own job in doing so. He is a man of principle, a man of God and a man of faith. As a Christian, Randy does not want to see anyone go without healthcare. Randy supports expanding healthcare to everyone so that they can have access to quality health insurance to protect themselves and family. That's the fact of the matter. Randy is opposed to abortion, he has been endorsed by some of the best Republican politicians who have supported the Heart-Beat Laws - for example Governor Norm Lee of Alabama. If you're anti-abortion, Randy Cramp is your only choice. And finally, he supports school choice. Many small Catholic schools are going bankrupt because of a lack of pupils. He wants to give you the choice to send your children there with school vouchers. Confío en Randy, y tú también deberías. Es un verdadero cristiano que se postula para el Senado de Texas como republicano. Es pro salud, anti-aborto y escuela autónoma. Si te preocupa un futuro para tus hijos bajo Dios, Randy es tu hombre."

Randy then took to the platform, his campaign song blasting in the background.

"Howdy, Texas! Howdy, El Paso!" He waved his arm in the air. On his shirt there was a Wolf 2016 Pin and an American Flag pin (more importantly). "The Liberals though they got rid of us, didn't they," Randy joked to the crowd. It responded gleefully in response. "They though that I - we - were gone after the jungle primary results, just a hair short of beating the biggest loser - Karen Brookshire - they thought they'd never see us or hear us again. Oh boy, how that got that soooo wrong!" The crowd cheered. "Now we're back, twice as big, twice as strong and twice as determined to fight and win for Texan Values: from the right to own a gun, to protecting the rights of the unborn, defending Christian rights against the Liberal Courts and putting a plug in the destruction of our industry. I'm ready to be your next Senator, Texas, all I need is the backing of you all to win the primary - then beat back whatever the loony Democrats throw at us this time!"

"I'm not much into losing, really. When I run, I run to win. The same old politicians are lining up once again to anoint the candidate of the elite. They're already all lining up behind the baby Frankston, like they lined up behind Biggest Loser Karen Brookshire. It was probably staged, as soon as he walked onto the stage with his nice suit and combed hair the Governors immediately endorsed him! A bit suspicious, but they're already chosen their candidate. But Texas, I'd prefer if you made your own mind, and not fall for their tricks in electing the un-electable candidate. I've never met this young Frankston, he's probably nice in person, but is he going to lose the general? YES. Y'all, he is going to lose BIG. He's going to lose our amazing evangelicals, the guy is not going to win our Hispanic communities, maybe he'll do well in the suburbs - probably NOT. We don't want Texas to lose again, and we're going to win."

"What we need to be doing is simple. Getting what President Wolf ran on done. We've got to build the wall. We've got to defend the rights of Christians and protecting the constitution. I'm going to fight against any and all attacks on our second amendment rights, that includes their proposal to ban guns. In fact, we need to start teaching safe gun practices in schooling and begin to train and arm our teachers properly to defend our kids. We need to be supporting our police, increase funding and get more police on the ground to protect our communities from criminality. We've got to make sure the new radical measures towards abortion are squelched immediately! No more baby-deaths on our hands, no more baby-deaths in Texas or the entire country. Suraj Shah is all about that ... and sadly, he's our Senator, no thanks to Biggest Loser Karen Brookshire. That is why we cannot go back to electing these 'moderate Republicans', more like Red Democrats who lose our safe Republican seats!"

"Let's not forget our great Hispanic communities. The Democrats like to talk about them as if they own them, but they're not yours! Our great Hispanic communities in Texas are very evangelical, care about God, faith and country as I do. They do not like the fact that abortions are happening right across this state and country. They do not like the crime is allowed to run rampant by Democratic Mayors and Congresspeople. We're going to run a campaign for our evangelicals, for our conservatives, for our Hispanics, for our farmers. And we're going to WIN TEXAS. Thank y'all, see you around the state."

My priorities are ensuring the United States remains properly defended and can act effectively against Iran, not trying to clean out the docket and play political games. Even if you want to bring up the Iran Sanctions Act after, it simply shows national security comes second to political theatre for Sen. Colbert.

Levi Murphy Stumping in Iowa
Davenport, Scott County, Iowa

From agriculture, to a college town, to an manufacturing city. Each place that Levi visited as part of the Presidential campaign was unique and different, yet all still Iowa. His next arrival was in Davenport, Iowa, one of the few industrial and manufacturing towns left in the state. The campaign had worked out that to win Iowa they needed to get out their primary demographics, of the farmers, the young people and the industrial workers. They had already spruced their message with many rural Iowan communities, recently offered free-icecream to college kids and now it was time for the former union leader to meet with his kind of people again. The polling, after all, wasn't looking bad. Levi had a ten-point lead on Dayton in Iowa, but he was not one to take a state for granted. Winning Iowa was a prize, but you had to work very hard for it. Demonstrating a powerful victory in the state would pay dividends in winning many of the other states, once voters see that Senator Murphy can win and that he is a viable candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America. That was powerful and it helped Baharia in 2008, Levi wanted to pull-off his own Iowa earthquake.

When arriving in Davenport, Levi's first campaign event was a little different than usual. Instead of stumping in any particular area of the city, Levi and the campaign team took the Davenport City Transit Authority, in a loop around the city. It was a unique way of campaign, but rather effective at the end of the day. The city buses were quite popular, mainly due to the rising gas prices that forced people to use the buses, but Levi got to mingle with many working-class voters who caught the bus. After all, the Senator enjoyed this kind of thing, being a former bus driver, he liked the chance to reconnect if only for an hour or so in Davenport. While travelling around the city, he would speak to the bus drivers and tell them about how he was in the Minnesota transportation union, to which they were interested. The campaign took some good footage of him on the bus, riding around the city, which would cultivate a real "man of the people" image of Levi. But the bus ride could not last forever, and he and the campaign team departed for the John Deere manufacturing plant to persuade some blue-collar union voters on side.

Levi was invited into the manufacturing plant and was given a tour. During this time, he used it to speak with the workers in the plant about increasing wages, supporting unions and bringing back manufacturing jobs from overseas. This went down very well with his audience, many of whom voted Wolf but had previously been a Democrat. "We failed you in 2016," he admitted to them. "It's time we bring back our jobs for real - Wolf has overseen some of the largest outsourcing of jobs we have ever seen and it needs to end: right here, right now. That's why I am running." The Senator spoke with union leadership in the plant as well to persuade them on side. He would use his skills developed at the AFL-CIO in Minnesota to build relationships with the local union membership and management, Levi needed their backing to pull of a strong victory in the state. To do, he went back into the economic issues, not really touching any social issues. Levi explained the need for Medicare for All through a union-perspective, as Amazon only recently just cut the health insurance away from striking workers at their facilities: only making the case strong for government-run healthcare for all. Following the tour and rubbing elbows with the workers and the union, Senator Murphy went on to held a Get-Out-The-Vote rally in Davenport. The following is an excerpt from the rally:

"It's good to be among friends, brothers, sisters and comrades this evening. I appreciate the invitation to speak today with you in Davenport. When they talk about unions in Washington D.C. they always have similar attack lines against us. I hear the typical, 'they're thugs', and so on and so on. Despite being so ludicrous, I look into the crowd here today and say, 'these people aren't thugs'. Unionists are teachers, nurses, laborers, manufacturers, the list goes on. When they call us thugs, or other quite ridiculous names, it is an attack on working people. Attacks on unions are nothing short of attacks on working people, across this country. One of the first things I will do is end the union-busting legislation - starting with Taft-Hartely! And it ends with bringing back the unions to their power that they held during the earlier 20th century, back when the Federal Government was so terrified of working people uniting as one that they would have to send the National Guard down to quell us. with wages stagnant, jobs shipped off-shore, increasing CEO profits, it's time we start making a scene again."

"As the General-Secretary of the Minnesota AFL-CIO, I never backed down from a fight. The Republicans wanted to try and erode workers rights? We fought back. Some of the Blue Dog Democrats wanted to erode our rights? We fought back. Workers united will never give an inch to the establishment in this country, and that is our proud legacy, but we're at an fortunate cross-roads in 2020. We can win back the unionized-workers in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania that flipped for Wolf - I'm going to flip them back for us! From one union guy to another union worker; the establishment is here to screw you over. But Wolf was an extension of the Burke Administration, more attacks against workers, massive tax cuts for the rich and more jobs gone. Wolf passed the new-NAFTA and we cannot afford to be caught off-guard. As a unionist, a Senator and a worker from Minnesota in the rust-belt, I can win back these voters and win this election. Running on a platform of workers first, big corporations last. Putting the needs of the many first, not the few."

"Unfortunately, I also come here to rebut some more negative aspects to what's going on in the presidential race. Brothers and sisters, let me tell you truth about Medicare for All, I'm not going to repeat some of the corporate media's smears of it, but I'm sure you've all heard it. All of a sudden they love the unions when it comes to providing universal healthcare to all citizens! Give me a break, they're honestly full of it those people. Here's the truth on Medicare for All: we expand Medicare to cover everyone. From cradle to grave. It will cover everything, including dental, mental health, drug rehabilitation, you name it. It will eliminate private health insurance, because it would be evil to provide everyone with universal coverage but still allow private health insurance CEOs to scam workers across this country for something they can get for free. Workers, especially union workers, won't lose their healthcare. We're bolstering everyone's healthcare. From one unionist to another: trust me. Medicare for All will improve outcomes for everyone and we will finally be able to provide universal healthcare to everyone. Thank you."

@RoughriderGovernor
Crazy Levi finally realized that there should be no wealth redistribution from the working class who did not go to college to the rich who did???

Chip walked through the halls of congress, heading towards the office of a certain Congressman running to become a Senator. On his way there, there was no doubt someone of the staffers may have noticed he looked more dressed up than normal, forgoing the jeans for dress pants and a blazer. Of course, what they didn't know, or at least what he hoped they didn't know, was that he was heading out for a "date" with the "Mrs" later that evening.

Arriving at the Congressman's office he greeted the Secretary and asked if the Senatorial Hopeful was in for their meeting.
"Right this way, Representative," the secretary responded at once, ushering Chip into Clay's office.

Clay was bent over a paper, but straightened up and grinned when he recognized his visitor. "Congressman Renfus," he greeted, rising to shake the other's hand. Crawford knew from his year in Congress that his colleague shared many ideals with him. "Thanks for coming. Here, what'll you take?" Clay pointed to the well-used liquor cabinet as he retrieved two glasses.

Chip gave his fellow Congressman a strong shake in response to his greeting, "Whiskey, on the rocks if you have ice."

Clay nodded and prepared two glasses, handing the iced one to Renfus.

"Now, Congressman, I think we both know what we're here to talk about," Crawford broached as he took a seat. "I'm looking to build momentum for my senatorial campaign, and I think your endorsement and support would go a long ways."

Clay smiled grimly, unsure if the Senator were having a lark at his expense or if Frankston were deadly serious. "That's the thing, Senator— with all due respect, the people of Texas don't rightly know. Your son has never held public office before. He doesn't have a track record, with all the good and bad that comes with that. Now, I'm sure the General is a great man and a patriot, as his service can attest. But I worry he would have trouble winning the general."

"He has more military experience than you've got governmental experience, he has more military experience than President Wolf had governmental experience, I called you up here to ensure you understand that whoever wins this primary, be it him or you, the party needs you to bind together and endorse the other with your full heart in it," Howard said firmly, "of course that can't happen as meaningfully if the campaign devolves into broad negativity, Joe has so far strayed from negative campaigning, and Justice Cramp has no real class, so before our three candidates devolve into all out war and I'm forced to explain to our donors why we're eating our young, can you pledge to leave the negative campaign in the cold?"
