The conversation, and the meeting continued long into the night, and the next morning, Life continued.

Violet and Aurum played together at the palace, Calufrax and Celeste talked endlessly about the finer details of the dimensions.

In Neston-upon-Bel, William surprised his wife with breakfast in bed, In Amazonia, Charlie surprised Jezeel with a Massage, and in the Imperial Palace, Warhaven, Carol surprised Pondera with soething entirely different in bed.

Susan played with her son Louis, still amazed by the beautiful ways his gryphon and Phoeinx heitages mixed. Victoria watched as production of her new amour began, fresh suits rolling off the production line, ready for use whenever, or whereever they were needed.

In Bel-Gium, it turned out that The Children of Mortals were a small fringe group, not at all as powerful as they had sold themselves. Qunitus sat in his office and allowed himself a small laugh at that, getting worked up over nothing.

The next day...

It started out in the Atlantic, a gigantic crystal equal in all ways to Mt. Everest in size manifested and began crystalizing the oceanic surface. From it came a melody that raced upon the wind and shielded the crystal from all attacks, while also banishing The Guardians, William, and all other gods from Earth, then sealing the Earth. An army appeared on the surface of the crystallized ocean, blocking the EDF, and all nations from combating the crystal.

At its front appeared an entity that was utterly identical to Brother Sound in all ways, save this one seemed to have a bloodlust about him.

"I am Killer Sound, servant of Master Sound, advanced scout for The Masters of Creation. This world is claimed in its name. Submit and only the weak and unworthy will perish. Fight me, and this world will become a barren lifeless husk." Killer Sound declared, his powers carrying his voice to all quarters of the Earth.

Over in Harmony...

"Brother Sound, Brother Animus, Dad Pachuco. You three are needed in Divinity, you are the only means by which a grave threat can be defeated, and then, only by acting indirectly through mortal agents that will reveal themselves soon." Lily said.

Over in Warhaven...

The displaced Guardians and gods were snatched out of Limbo by Pondera and set down in the Throne Room.

"I can't get through, not divinely, not with technology, not with mortal power. But I was able to save you from Limbo. Lily sent me a spark of inspiration that she knows how to handle this, and has already set things in motion. She'll contact us again soon with more info. So, while we wait, have some guest rooms here in the palace. William, your old room awaits. Karesh and Karen are just fine at home, if worried about dear old dad." Pondera said.

On Earth a tense sort of silence fell, as the nations of the world began to debate their best course of action, fight, or surrender.

"Someone attacks our divine freinds?" Brother sound thundered, amassing his powers and leving DJ Sonicaudio to take charge in his stead, "They have made a grave error."

"Best of luck Sweetie," Eris said, planting a chaotic kiss on Pachuco's cheek.

"Some upstart dares to evict us from our world?" Androzani growled.

"That we created and guided all those years ago?" Gallifrey snarled.

"They had better hope we don't get back in," Gryphox seethed, holding Gryphorae

William trudged off to his old room, to worry about Karesh and Karen, and prepare if he was needed

Animus kissed Tew on the cheek before disappearing with Brother Sound and Pachuco.

Pondera managed to breakthrough with the Hypernet, but only enough to send and receive signal. Gisele, who was stuck on Earth, was greatly relieved to know Gryphox and Gryphorae were ok.

....

There were four of them, drawn towards the crystal, one an eastern Dragoness, one a Lygor, one a Wyvern, and one a Gryphon. They were following its hypnotic melodies and thus had slipped effortlessly past the army.

Pachuco stopped Animus and Brother Sound.

"We're supposed to act indirectly through agents? I think I see them. See those four natives that have made it to the crystal? Those are our people. Ahh, I see, they can use the crystal-like that imposter sound character can. Let us, give them a hand, but only with instrumentation, their natural skill is already great.

"I'll take the gryphon," Brother sound decided, "They have an excellent skill in harmonic screeches. What about you, Brother Pachuco?"

[Warhaven]

"You've misunderstood, we have to combine our powers on all four of them. The Gryphon already has a golden voice, he doesn't play anything, but a nice new outfit wouldn't go amiss.

The Eastern Dragoness, she plays drums, so for her we need the best drumkit you can devise. The Lygor actually knows how to play Bass Guitar, so we need the best Bass Guitar you can Devise. The Wyven plays Melody, so perhaps a double necked Electric Guitar for him. Matching outfits for all, and all signed with our divine seals. So, that's your musical signature Sound, my mask, and Pachuco, your hat atop a chaos tornado." Animus said.

"Right, enough chatter, let's get them upgraded," Pachuco agreed.

"Ah, a good old fashioned Jam Sesh!" Brother Sound realised, "We've got the tools, they have the talent!"

With a snap of his fingers the Band's instruments materialised, Drums for the Eastern Dragoness, Bass guitar for the Lygor and double necked guitar for the Wyvern, all culled from Brother sound's own personal collection.

From out of nowhere, a golden mike on a wire dropped down before the Gryphon.

The four of them were humming, the eastern dragoness took out a pair of chopsticks, using them as drumsticks, playing on an old bucket. To her surprise they flashed and turned to Brother Sound's drumkit.

The Lygor and the Wyvern were playing on boxes with rubber bands for strings, and as they played their homemade instruments morphed and twisted into the items from Brother sounds collection.

As the gryphon felt his clothes improve, he reached out for an imaginary mike, and found the golden mike in his hands, and sang into it.

Together, they had a beautiful harmonious sound, and the crystal flashed, obeying their will. The ocean began to decrystalize and retreat, even as the quartet magically rose in the air. Across all areas their music could be heard, empowering Earth forces against Killer Sound's army, and this advantage was not wasted, pushing the intruders back to a small confined area that as of yet no one could overcome.

The quartet was magically set down on Beeching House.

"Beeching House, we shouldn't intrude upon his majesty so!" The Eastern Dragoness objected she was in Sapien form and quite lovely.

"Ma'am, I don't think any of us intended to land here. It's like the music took over, and flew us somewhere it knew we'd be safe, while we rest and recover." The Wyvern said.

"I know not how we have a connection to that crystal, or how these instruments came to us, but we will fight and push Killer Sound back under whatever rock he crawled out of." The Gryphon declared.

Killer Sound's army would find the debate about surrender or fight hadn't been wasted by Earth, they had marshalled their forces, and the power of the song only enhanced their united front.

"Fear not," Aractus, Spiridon's son and King Matthew's Dragon mount.

"Dragons are welcome here," Kembel added, Aractus's Son, Dragon-Wyvern Hybrid and Prince Arthur's Dragon mount.

Aurum would be with them too, waiting for if they were needed.

Who better to evacuate the royal family than the three dragon mounts?

The Royal family waved from the palace at the four band members.

"Glad to have your support," King Matthew called, "The EDF might need your help, reports are, this Killer Sound's team is taking a beating, but they've holed up somewhere."

[Warhaven]

"They cannot overcome them without us. We have a connection to the crystal, which stores all of Killer Sound's power. But, no one, not even us can brute force our way through this situation without the crystal exploding like a bomb and ending all life on Earth." The Gryphon said.

"We must move in rhythm with the crystal, and rest that our power might be restored. Then we can act again." The Wyvern said.

"Pardon, but who are you anyway?" Aurum asked.

"I am Zhang Wei, the drummer" The Eastern Dragoness said, introducing herself.

"Pel, on Bass." The Lygor said.

"Dorack, rocking this awesome double neck guitar." The Wyvern said.

"Rocky, singer." The Gryphon said, introducing himself.

"Then rest, dear freinds," King Matthew insisted, "Make use of my home, take whatever refreshment you need!"

"You four need a good band name," Prince Arthur mused, "Untitled Artist just won't cut it"

[Warhaven]

"Look at my jacket, our instruments, it seems made for us. A.S.P. Our instruments are signed by Animus, Sound, Pachuco." Rocky said as the group retired for the night.

A few days later, the crystal flashed, and Sara was covered in deadly wounds from head to toe, on the verge of death. With Sara being put into critical condition, Love disappeared from Divinity.

To Pondera's horror, he could no longer stand to look at Carol. Jezeel glanced at Charlie and nearly got sick. Taelia suddenly couldn't stand Spridon, Tiamet and Bahamut were on the verge of fighting.

Love, the single most intrinsic of bonds in any family, was gone, no one could stand anyone else anymore. It was Killer Sound's deadliest attack yet.

Chaos spread across Earth as couples and families could no longer work together. The Psy sheild faltered as Douglas and Crystal could no longer even bear to be in each other's minds.

Beeching house was in Disarray, Matthew and Adela, Arthur and Guin, even Violet and Aurum, split to the corners of the palace, not even looking at each other.

"Animus?" Tew's voice asked cautiously inside his head, not certain if he too was affected by divinity's loss of love.

[Warhaven]

"I'll be right as rain you just shield Harmony." Animus replied telepathically.

Rocky and the other three were looking at each other and got their instruments.

The power of the music spread out across Harmony.
Matthew and Adela were brought back together, a spiral of energy surrounded them, and love was restored. The music healed Sara and her temple, restoring love.

Bahamut and Tiamat came back together, Jezeel tackled Charlie as love returned.

"That's right buster, you're forever mine, and don't you forget it," Taelia growled, then kissed Spiridon soundly.

The hate attack was defeated, but there was a catch, Killer Sound regained control over half the Atlantic, and the group was spent again.

Pondera would find himself tightly embraced by Carol.

Prince Arthur would hold Guinevere close.

Princess Violet would shuffle up to Aurum, and ask shyly for a kiss.

"I wouldn't have it any other way," Spirdon grinned as Taelia kissed him.

EDF forces, magic and conventional, would try their best to contain Killer Sound's forces, amassing much of the world's naval fleet, and many of the flying Aircraft carriers to hem them in, but they worked closely together, there was no love lost.

[Warhaven]

"Grr! Blast that quartet! I won't be beaten so easily!" Killer Sound shouted, and suddenly a massive shield overtook his forces. The outer layer was a fog so thick no one could see through it, and the second layer kept returning false results to technology and magic.

Lily's image phased in.

"Please gather representatives, in three days I will return and tell you how to beat him. It will be necessary to gather 1,000 members from each of the Elder Races. So that's 1,000 dragons, 1,000 wyverns, 1,000 Lygor, ETC. Only the races with a guardian of Earth count as an Elder Race." Lily said, then vanished.

"So, that's Dragons and the four of us as Elder Races." Rocky mused to his bandmates.

From across the globe, Wyverns, Lygor, Dragons both East and West Gathered where Lily had phased in.

Spiridon himself would insist on being one of the 1000 dragons representing their race, and had the dragon he replaced sent home.

[Warhaven]

Taelia was there too. And as two surprise extras, a pair of Draco-Sapien musicians, known for their talent in the EDM music circuit.

But first, a great trembling of the crystal surface of the ocean ensued, and from it, a gigantic cyclops came towards The Floor Kippers.

"ARTHUR! PRINCE OF THE FLOOR KIPPERS! I AM MONTGUMI, I HEAR STORIES SAY YOU DEADLIEST MAN ON EARTH, I LAUGH AT SUCH CHILDISH TALES. BUT IF THEY are EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT TRUE, THE FIGHT ME! FIGHT MONTGUMI THE TITAN OR FOREVER BE CALLED A COWARD!" The Gigantic Cyclopse bellowed, hurling an entire mountain towards Bel-gium and laughing.

"Go. The Melody swirls around you." Rocky said.

Actually, the melody swirled around his horse, Dover, and his Dragon Cycle. Horse and Cycle merged to become a Robot Dragoncorn. 50% Unicorn, 50% dragon, 100% Robot, 200% awesome. It also swirled around his power armor as it assembled itself around him, becoming more streamlined and efficient.

This was the final obstacle to the final battle with Killer Sound, Prince Arthur vs. Montgumi the Titan.

"The title was bestowed upon me by Samuel Miller, god of war," Prince Arthur said, as he mounted his Robot Dragoncorn, and petted the hilt of his sword of Ancient Kings.

He revved the RDC and shot up into the sky, blasting the mountain flying towards Bel-Gium to dust.

"Prepare to witness the end of the Story of Montgumi, the one-eyed git!" He shouted as his RDC dove screaming at the Cyclops, his sword out, glinting with power.

[Warhaven]

The band picked up their instruments, and the song infused Arthur with additional power.

Montgumi brought his hands together to produce a mighty thunderclap to both disorient Arthur and knock him out of the sky.

Arthur waited until the last second, before leaping clear of his RDC and clear of the thunderclap. The RDC swooped away until it was needed, staying out of Montgumi's reach.

He slammed down onto Montgumi's arm, and thundered up it, putting the enducance training with Sam to use, allowing him to run in power armor, his sword screaming through the air as he held it aloft, ready for whatever tricks and traps Montgumi presumably sheilded his eye with.

Montgumi teleported out from beneath Arthur, exactly teen feet left, and shot a thunderbolt at him from his eye.

The RDC swooped in under Arthur's legs and scooped him back up and allowed him to avoid the thunderbolt.

Changing tack, Arthur holstered his sword, and pulled out his pistol, the very latest the MOD and MOSD could provide, a mark two plasma pistol, built for the use of his space corps.

He took aim and fired a rapid five blasts of super-heated plasma bolts at Montgumi.

This blinded Montgumi temporarily, he blindly swatted at the air creating tremendous wind gusts. Montgumi's defenses were down!
