Nation Creation Questions

Two notes on the questions presented when creating a new nation:

1. Question 6, "Capitalism is on the way out.", is ambiguously worded. Is it asking an empirical/observational question—"Do you think capitalism is dropping in prevalence as an economic system (around the world), regardless of your opinions on capitalism?"—or an opinion question—"Do you think capitalism should be on the way out?" I presume the latter is intended, but as written, it reads like the former. For instance, a pro-capitalism pessimist could think that capitalism is on the way out (but not be happy about that).

2. Question 7, "Without democracy, a country has nothing", lacks a period, while the others have one.

Bumping this. I understand #1 may not be changed, as I believe the statement has been there for a long time, but #2 is a small fix at least.

The first one is asking more regarding your beliefs than the state of the world. The second, just treat it as if it has a period lol. The issues you get will allow you to shape your nation however you see fit though down the road. The questions just give you a baseline.

Yes, usually I answer "Agree" on that question when creating puppets, but it doesn't enact Socialism policy unless you Strongly Agree.

Right, but new players don't know this (or even know what a policy is) when they answer the question. Just based on the text, read plausibly as it is written, it seems like it's asking an empirical question, not a question of opinion.

But does it really matter for new nations? After all, in the first days it's pretty easy to change your initial stats (to an extent).

The same could be said about any of the questions, or them all. Stats may be easier to change early, but 1) it's still not super easy, and 2) the point of the questions is to give players control over the initial stats of their nation.

I made a new nation recently and saw these issues still there. Just a nudge on this. Perhaps #1 is like the first set of issues from Max, i.e. uneditable, but #2 seems like an easy fix.
