Don't know if this is exactly the right place for this, but I'm trying to make it so that my signature has three spoilers on a singular line. I tried something similar to:

That is how you do it. The Float Tags should ALWAYS be before any Align tags.

The Spoiler counts as 1.5 lines, IIRC.
So your sig would be about 8.5 lines. Which is half a line over the 8 line maximum.

Yep. I also have a bone to pick with the long sentence beginning with "An early-PMT ..." Long boxed sentences don't wrap properly. Rather than put it in a box, but it in a {Floatright} spoiler.

I think you're over. Boxes count 2 plus their content. You have two boxes for six plus all the rest.

So some players have a news ticker that is divided into two parts: a "fixed area" (usually contain date or news organization name) and a "movable area" (usually contains the content of the news). But when I try to have to news ticker next to eachother, it just stack up vertically like this:

Also: is my sig compliant? I use mobile primarily, so I'm not really sure. Should I remove the [hr] tag between the news ticker and the last line?

As for if it is legal? Obligatory not-a-Mod, but I am reading around 6-7 lines on the current sig. With my edit and the slider, I reckon it will go to 8 lines. But again, Not a Mod! ><

EDIT: I would personally remove the [ hr ] tag, since at least for me, I think there is enough space between the bottom of the news ticker and the next line.

No. Yes. HRs are pointless in sigs, particularly when you are separating two items that are already boxed.

Character count for signatures is kinda enigmatic. My signature is over 1000 characters when accounting for all the bbcode, but only a little over 400 in plaintext. The forum seems to not count some/most code so you should have quite a bit of space to spare. I'm counting between 530-550 in plaintext depending on how you count the spoiler.

There really are only small optimizations in your sig if you don't want to drastically change the content. "Greater Cosmicium Politics Hub" can be turned into "Politics Hub". The same can be done to the Military Hub link. "A 1 civilization, according to this index." can be shortened to "A 1 Civilization." with the URL linking to the thread. That spoiler could be eliminated and the contents just be the last line of the sig. Y'know, small things like that.

I feel like commenting that, while I am not a mod nor a techie either, it seems that most (all?) BBCode doesn't count towards the 800 character limit for sigs. Like my sig, including all the BBCode, has 883 characters in it, but my sig still displays fine since the stuff that isn't BBCode and actually displays is significantly under 800 characters.
