Not a [Card Bug?], a Card Feature

Hi,
I was checking my nation and I noticed this:

I didn't put a bid in for this card or any cards. I also didn't open any card packs.

Is this a bug? Is my account secure? Or am I just not understanding trading cards?

That notification pops up when someone "gifts" you a card. If you go to the "trades" section of the card in question you can find out who gifted it to you
Call me Vic when OOC, it rolls off the tongue better.
I always use NS stats!

Someone gifted you that card. It sends you a message saying you bought it, even though you didn't. No need to worry.

Sorry, I haven't touched cards on any of my accounts since they came out last year
