Let’s just say for the purpose of argument that I agree with everything you’ve said, and am thus holding tactical reserve forces for deployment to the front line at the outskirts of White Pine.

What distance do you think these reinforcements should be behind the front line, as a rapid reaction force? A five minute march?

Somewhere between five and ten miles away, which is a good distance to nuke.

Mm, well, even five miles entails a time-lag of at least an hour, probably more to deploying reinforcements. I certainly wouldn't want to hold tactical reserves that far back in a modern military.

If you hold them closer it's easier for me to hit them with artillery or with aircraft. The farther they are from the front the easier it is for you to protect them.

And five miles is a little long I agree, but if the OPFOR has the ability and the will to deploy nuclear weapons of some variety I'd keep my forces spaced out

Im chill at the moment, just kind of cogitating how to further my little plotline.

My current thoughts are that it really depends whether I actually get that needed support from the Imperial Navy or not,

If I do, then Vandercalt will probably stay loyal to the Imperium unless something drastic happens,

If I don't get that support, I'll have to turn to someone else like the MH, Irene, or the mega-capitalist. Which means that Vandercalt will be less loyal to the Imperium.

So in summary I'm kinda waiting on a reply.
