Royal Marquesan Exports is an umbrella conglomerate directed by a special commission held by a consortium of seven defense, finance, technology, manufacturing and oversight Guilds in the Marquesan States, Esvanovia. The efforts of numerous companies are represented here such as Fare Hei Mining & Technology, LTD, Netane Kinetics, Papeete Steelworks, Arioi Engineering & Design, the Viti Levu Powerplant Works, etc; while no Marquesan company is nationalized, the completed Warfare Systems being marketed here were designed to specifications directed by the Marquesan government at taxpayer cost and are being marketed abroad to recoup the costs of their development and to provide funding for future design work. The Marquesan States are a 1-trillion NSD per year net exporter which has been traditionally dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry; nationally, a long history of border wars has caused the country to refine its tactics with battle experience defending its homeland. First things first: Is it MT? Yeah, you should feel good about using these systems in MT or PMT roleplays; my scruples are satisfied by having derived everything from information available on public websites like Wikipedia. The systems you'll see here in Royal Marquesan Exports are the results of extensive research projects which have been developed and refined slowly over several years. I stepped away from NS for a few years and I've come back to the game now with fully developed ordinance, aircraft, vehicles and vessels, which I archived the basics of when I stepped away from the game and then spent August of 2020 to December of 2022 reworking, piece by piece. In some cases, a particular design, such as the ADF.35/1R5 "Divine Wind" is in its 5th revision from its original configuration circa 2012; the research is a continuous process.

My systems are designed by averaging the statblocks of real-world systems in a spreadsheet, which you will see in the Reference Materials section of each design. I have written the statblocks and written the descriptions based on the final products of each subsystem and done all my calculations in the metric system, to provide a common standard. Everything you see here has been designed bespoke for the NationStates game with nothing copied or converted over directly from a real-world system; rather every aircraft, every vessel, ground vehicle, gun, missile, engine and subsystem has been tirelessly researched and re-thought for the game. I put the statblocks together myself and wrote the descriptions from the result of each completed research project; each design is generally 2-5,000 words and the more complicated pieces (such as the ground vehicles, Ajax, Orcus, etc) contain more than 500 bbcode tags. I have made an effort to adapt these designs to varying screen sizes and display resolutions; this is why I have chosen to float statblock information to the right thus automatically compensating for your screen, and why all paragraphs are aligned in Justify, so that the text blocks stay neat and orderly as display formats vary.

I am not an engineer; I am however a bit of a perfectionist, an Army veteran, and a voracious researcher. I have not tested or proved any of this data in the real world, however I have been careful and diligent to develop my equipment within the envelope of what has already been made. I have cataloged and analyzed data from publicly-available websites regarding relevant equipment. In cases where a large enough data set was not possible with a handful of examples (due to information being not listed, or classified) I have used a wider sample size, in most cases 10-15 real world classes have been referenced per completed design. I have not paid attention to "Western" or "Eastern" themes, rather I have stuck to evaluating based on what performs and only taken the fastest, the longest ranged, the best performing. I built weight classes from that filtered data and what you see here is the result. Engines, missiles, aircraft, vehicles and vessels were all designed separately of each other and then fitted to work together so that every component is optimized. I have made what I believe is a "good faith" effort to maximize the characteristics of each system without creating anything unrealistic or impossible with today's technology. In nearly every case, I have provided a real-world comparison, to allow you to see an "Apples-to-Apples" comparison to another aircraft, vessel or vehicle in the same role as the one I've designed, and in every case I've provided references to all of the classes I used to create the numbers.

Feel free to audit my numbers, recreate them yourself if you like from the links I've provided. Nothing is out of whack though, I promise, I've checked. I have designed the systems to work together, and in cases where an aircraft, vessel or vehicle is listed with a weapon system, these items are included, though you are encouraged to place orders for ammunition. I created these systems for play in the region I'm in, but I believe others might also enjoy using them. I've tried to give as much practical detail as possible without going on and on where it's unnecessary or doesn't affect the gameplay. If you read through the systems, you'll come to understand them and I think that makes for better play. I have made a deliberate effort to omit nothing, to leave no question unanswered and to create all-new equipment for the betterment of the game. I'd like to add that I do try to adhere to what's practical, not just what's possible, though with an open mind, I am always willing to consider a new idea. I hope you use these pieces to play the game in that spirit and so, with hope for fun times and cooperation ahead, I present to you Royal Marquesan Exports!

A word on Nomenclature:

---

Vessels are named according to their role and their fineness ratio, (Length : Beam) so TGC.962R2 "Shora" is a Tactical Gunnery Cruiser, 9.62 times longer than it is wide. Aircraft are named according to their role, their maximum takeoff weight in tons, their crew complement and the number of revisions they've gone through. For example, LFI.16/1R4 "Super Revenant" is a Lightweight Fighter/Interceptor, 16 tons, single seat, 4th revision. Ground vehicles are named according to their role and weight in tons, plus typically a variant identifier. For example, an AWC.444B "Orcus" Mk. II MADS" is an Armored Weapons Carrier, 44 Tons, Mobile Area Defense System variant. Ordinance is named according to role, and the first three digits of Length divided by Diameter. This measurement, in Calibers, provides a coherent and unique way to identify each item, so a SAM.155 "Ahriman" is a Surface to Air Missile, 15.5 Calibers. Nuclear warheads are named firstly for Length/Diameter in Calibers, then Blast Yield Ratio, expressed in Kilotons Yield per Kilogram weight, plus notes on the warhead type, so the A281.320TAu warhead is 2.81 calibers in length and yields 3.195 kt/kg using tritium-boosted fusion and a gold tamper.

TKH.59 is a dedicated tank killer, designed around an extremely survivable crew citadel protected from all angled by modular, field-replaceable armor panels. The tank carries a very high-velocity, 64 caliber 112mm smoothbore gun, designed around a finned sabot-discarding Titanium/Uranium alloy dart round which can penetrate 660mm of modern composite armor.
