Former Nuncio Viganò warns of Great Reset

Postby Blasted Craigs » Sat Oct 31, 2020 12:55 am

A high-ranking Catholic Archbishop, Carlo Maria Viganò, who was the former nuncio (ambassador) from the Vatican to the USA, just sent an open letter to President Trump warning him of what he terms "evil" forces planning a great reset, where freedom will be sacrificed to have one's debt reset, and any who refuse to do so will be imprisoned and have their assets confiscated. The justification will be Covid -19, and new strains of Covid, that require the surrendering of personal freedoms to ensure everyone is vaccinated.
Basically, you will be monitored 24/7 and be required to take any vaccines and medical treatments the authorities demand of you.
Now, there was a reported "leak" from Canada about the great reset that an AFP fact check stated was false, but we have an Archbishop writing an open letter to the President warning about the same great reset.
AFP Fact Check of leaked letter from Canadian Committee member that AFP stated was false
So is this Archbishop, the former Ambassador of the Vatican, also lying? Maybe not. The Letter
Now, this post is about the Great Reset being discussed, but since the idea is Covid will be used to justify the stripping of liberties to combat the spread of Covid, a little on Covid.
////////////////////////

The World Economic Forum is now stressing the need for a "Great Reset" to combat Covid on their website.
Now, on their own website, they stress the global reach intended for this program.
The Covid-19 crisis, and the political, economic and social disruptions it has caused, is fundamentally changing the traditional context for decision-making. The inconsistencies, inadequacies and contradictions of multiple systems –from health and financial to energy and education – are more exposed than ever amidst a global context of concern for lives, livelihoods and the planet. Leaders find themselves at a historic crossroads, managing short-term pressures against medium- and long-term uncertainties. As we enter a unique window of opportunity to shape the recovery, this initiative will offer insights to help inform all those determining the future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models and the management of a global commons. Drawing from the vision and vast expertise of the leaders engaged across the Forum’s communities, the Great Reset initiative has a set of dimensions to build a new social contract that honours the dignity of every human being.
The World Economic Forum has developed a reputation as a trusted platform for informed collaboration and cooperation between all stakeholders – reinforced by a track record of success over five decades. The Forum now offers its experience in building purpose-driven communities in service of the extraordinary challenge and opportunity the world faces for a “Great Reset”. The Forum provides an unparalleled platform for creating, shaping and delivering collaborative solutions for the future through its: And there are links.
Finally, it states "In the run-up to the Annual Meeting, the Forum will host a virtual series: “The Great Reset Dialogues”.

These dialogues are a joint initiative of the World Economic Forum and HRH The Prince of Wales.

During these dialogues, various key stakeholders will discuss core dimensions of The Great Reset."

/////////////////////////////
There is resistance to the idea of lock downs, that are the cornerstone to the necessity of a "great Reset" and will be used to justify the loss of liberties.
Now, there is a lawsuit from a group of Doctors that states Covid is not a pandemic, that it is similar to a flu, that while highly contagious, has a low death rate, and like the flu should not be treated as a pandemic, and does not require lock downs.
An organization called the World Doctors Alliance (A group of health professionals organized to argue against lock-downs) has argued such a case, link
Standford Doctors and Professors have also argued against the need for and harm from lock-downs
Not to argue about Covid, but why the Archbishop might believe that Covid is being used as an excuse to initiate the "Great Reset".

Now, the Great Reset isn't policy yet, but it seems world business leaders are looking at it as if it is a plan to follow through on, but the World Economic Forum has few details on what the "Great Reset" entails. Mainly, it stresses the reach, which is global, and the impact, the restructuring of the social contract.

Now, point of discussion. The Archbishop feels that the Great Reset is a nefarious plan to coerce total submission of civilians to economic and political overlords, while the World Economic Forum posits it as a response needed to combat Covid, and an opportunity to use to restructure the social contract of people in society. Up until recently, anything referencing the "Great Reset" was labeled as false and fake News, but now the World Economic Forum is hosting talks on the effects intended from the Great Reset, even using the same name.
So, do you think the Archbishop is right, and this is a nefarious plan to bring authoritarian tyranny to the masses, or is the World Economic Forum right, and this is a needed restructuring to combat Covid, lest we all be doomed?
Or somewhere in between?

//////////////////////////////
My Answer.
I think it is a power play, those in power always want more power and control. I don't think it is a fight between forces of good versus evil however, just petty tyrants seizing an opportunity to expand their control.
So, I fall in between.
You?
The government in America can best be described with an analogy. The two political parties are two cats, the elite is a rat, power is the cheese, and the common people is the floor. The floor feels two cats can guard the cheese better than one. But the cats fight each other, and the rat makes off with the cheese in glee. The floor cannot leave, and soon both cats serve the rat, because the rat has the all powerful cheese, and gives the cats a small bit of it. So the floor gets crapped on by all three, as they eat the cheese together.

NOW the Catholic Church is concerned with bodily autonomy? That's quite a 180 from the people who want little girls to be forced to give birth and who cover up the priest abuse of boys.

This is some QAnon level shit.

The faulty logic at the heart of these conspiracies is that the 'elites' would want a lockdown in the first place. Rather it's the opposite: elites, particularly those in control of capital, have been pushing especially hard against any sort of COVID response measures by governments and against lockdowns or other restrictions on peoples' activities, which would necessarily cut down on their ability to continue business as normal.

I don't see how resetting global debt would require eliminating civil liberties.

That's the words of the Archbishop, like I said, this is a highly placed individual, that stresses this "evil" plan is in motion, and surprisingly, I found a "Great Reset" is being planned..
I personally don't buy into the good versus evil trope, but I do think it (Covid) could be used as a scapegoat to push eroding civil liberties, simply because those in power always want more power, no matter the spectrum.
How does it erode civil liberties? It would require constant monitoring of ones movements, thus people would lose a large part of their privacy.
The resetting of debt would be a bribe to agree to losing those liberties, not how one would lose their liberties.
Also, big business like Amazon and Wal-mart love lockdowns, because lockdowns force mom and pop shops to close due to losing business, while big companies like Amazon and Walmart can still ship goods to customers, while Mom and Pop stores have trouble paying the cost of shipping, thus a choice between paying for full shipping costs, or buying Amazon that often has free shipping.
A lot of places will allow local Walmarts to stay open in fact, while requiring Mom and Pop stores to close due to whatever reasons they can drum up.
So, stakeholders of large companies love lockdowns. It's small business owners that rage against lockdowns.

The opposite pattern is what's actually observed though - while lockdowns were in place retail sales collapsed because people were out of work and had less money to spend on retail in the absence of significant covid aid. Big box stores and Amazon probably took up a larger market share than was normal during that period because they had the infrastructure to adapt but they still hurt too. Hence the push to 'get the economy moving again' by walking back controls.

I see what I did wrong now. To get the US President to read my stuff I should have become an Archbishop. Is it absolutely necessary to be Catholic though?

Sounds like some Q Anon/Antivax shit and I'm worried that in the waning days of his campaign, Trump will begin riling up his fans warning "they're gonna inject you with microchips, and spy on your every move with them cause the chips are tracking devices. Thats why you gotta vote me in" only making it more likely there's violence if he loses because now his fans don't just hate that he lost. Many of them will be afraid of "being chipped."
