In the off-chance that Selkie bakers are well-connected enough to know of incidents involving Ezharans, consider the prior roleplay involving Nera Canaria's birds noncanonical, in part because I've purged the entire civil war storyline from Ezhara/Shwe Tu Colony. I'm keeping the characters, but removing the canonicity from Ezhara overall, in part because I may have gotten too attached to my current cast and I don't quite feel like figuring out how to irreversibly shatter each and every one of them by subsuming the entirety of their homeland in a mix of massacres and despair.

I'll probably introduce Illapa/Ometeotl in the next post, depending on your timing, Selkie.

Alright, if you insist. Though, for the record, the bakers in the Free Lands are organized in a number of guilds, but that story wouldn't have been shared.
Another question, why purge the civil war?

I just can't see it really fitting in with the rest of my region, not to the degree it occurs at, seeing as at least one city, Odona, is outright leveled, among several Talents and Mascots being killed elsewhere. There was also already a peaceful democratic transition in the region's most powerful nation, so I really just don't see the original motive of the civil war — that being the integration of democratic processes — alongside its original effects being sensible anymore. Though, the genocide of Odona was less a direct ramification, and more Sessenan, another city, deciding to finish some old grudges once and for all. No other city would've been also destroyed, but it'd still have been pretty terrible for a lot of them.

And as I mentioned, I'm too attached to my current cast now. I'm obsessive when I make characters which is why I have this giant list, with many of these individuals having potential interactions already known at the time of their creation, albeit unwritten. The civil war was something that I've had for some three years, nearly since I made Ezhara, but over time, I did lose interest in it because it started taking too long for me to get there, and I just enjoy the current cast more, though, some of the post-war characters existed even before. Only two of them were born following its outbreak, so it's not a huge loss in those terms. That said, I would have to figure out what I'll be doing for a local playwrights project, seeing as I was originally planning on rewriting an older submission of mine set before the turning point of the war, wherein Darius Basho died and ultimately led to the rapid downhill journey of the rest of Ezhara. At that time, he was regarded as one of the most major non-high school Talents, alongside Kaz Mansur and Eiko Michori, though Eiko, as discussed before, isn't technically one, but his literally illegal addiction to by virtue of Ezharan media-work laws with youths* diligence with acting easily allowed him to ascend rapidly.
*Ezharan law/culture dictates a certain limit of time to youth actors/performers as the perception of Talents is that they are not to be used for profits.

I may or may not consider something involving Eiko at this point, but he's such a particular character that I'm not sure if I'd be willing to take the chance that an actual teenager would be able to pull him off, especially considering the amount of serious value that can be ascribed to him in regards to his relationships and his mental illness, made a little more questionable by the fact that I've never interacted with openly-diagnosed individuals on his caliber. Probably for the mutual better, since I have the emotional depth of a cement slab irl. I'll probably wait and see until January, which is when I usually start it up.

Those are very good reasons. It would be comparable to my cleansing of several of my old nations and NPCs after my short absence a few months back: They didn't fit, too, I didn't have a clue as to how to make them fit... and they smelled and had Akne. ; )
