The Black Hawks were visiting Ba Sing Se, looking around and seeing all that there was to be seen when they heard an awfully loud noise coming from beyond the walls of the city. Unfazed they continued about their visit, on their way to the Jasmine Dragon. Along the way, they came across a man spinning unbelievable tales of nuclear war taking place among the other nations. Despite the man’s best attempts at sharing his stories, the residents carried on with their lives. After all, everyone knew that there were no nukes in Ba Sing Se. The Hawks, enjoying their tea, went on with their visit to the capital.

Meanwhile, unknown to the residents and tourists alike, the man, among others, received an incredible invitation to Lake Laogai from the Earth King. They enjoyed their vacations and knew that they were safe and overall that there were no nukes in Ba Sing Se.

The camp lay still, fires smouldering in the dawn dew. Nestled just outside the town walls, the smell of smoke mixed with the sound of drunken snores. Put simply, a perfect opportunity.

From their vantage point on the Devi Hill, four figures studied the silent camp and waiting town. Three were Warriors of the Black Hawk - fighters of extraordinary renown, their leader Aquilanion having rent the great island fortress of South Pacific asunder only months prior.

Aquila ready for battle.

Zizou, famed for his quick thinking and legendary skills of persuasion, suddenly pointed at a shadowy figure in the camp.

“Movement! Perhaps a sentry, perhaps a guard feeling the effects of their revelry. Check it out for me!”

Raising the spyglass to their eye, Yets Knenxland, the newest of the warband, and already proving their skills, whispered softly

“Looks like nature’s calling, he’ll be settled down soon enough.”

“Then we’re ready to attack”

The fourth figure was Frenchy II, a veteran of the Warband of Flowers, an elite unit famed for their speed in arms and on the march. Behind and below, their fellow warriors sat silently waiting. Each leading a platoon of 35, the four figures jogged to their troops, and the host fanned out, keeping low and slow to avoid detection.

Frenchy enters the fray

There was barely half a kilometre between the Warband and their hapless victims, yet the need to move silently made the short distance feel ten times as long. Yet their patience paid off, as the Warriors arrived on the helpless town the moment the sun began to rise over the valley.

“Attack!”

Horns and drums rang out as the Hawks and Flower crashed into their unready foes, and chaos erupted beneath the town walls. Zizou led their platoon on the right flank, Frenchy the left and Yets and Aquila forming the vanguard in the centre. A rout was almost too generous a term for the scale of the defeat inflicted, many of their enemies surrendered pitifully, abandoning any hope of fighting back.

Ziz and Luck, taking on the world...

The camp was taken care of within the hour, and the four commanders rallied at the town gates, and readied their bands to accept the mayor’s inevitable surrender. It was a superb attack; casualties were few and little of the town was damaged. The Council would be pleased…

It was a crisp fall evening when The Black Hawks were going out for a stroll. They were enjoying the gentle autumn breeze and watching the leaves fall, when suddenly they stumbled upon random leaf piles being raked up and put right in the middle of their path. COL Miss Bad Life Choices soon realized that fascists from Der Trollpakt had gathered these leaves to get in the way! Thinking quickly, MAJ Aquilanion and CPL Dyanderna started to rake all the leaves into one massive pile out of the way to jump into. While having fun jumping into the leaves, they decided to invite their friends from Europeia, Lone Wolves United, Karma, The Hall of the Red Rose, Caer Sidi, and The East Pacific to jump into the leaf pile with them. After they had their fun playing in the leaves they made sure to pay the fascists a visit and clean things up, taking special care to redecorate the place with seasonal fall decorations (with a few rainbows as an extra touch.)

Means few dorks already have endos when they update in the region and gives them a lil influence boost in addition to being careful in case of lag issues or other /issues/. No point in not doing it x)

The Black Hawks know that you can't just sit around in the same region all day and wait for things to happen, what kind of a life would that be? You need to go! Be active! Get out there and see things! And so we took a trip, soaring through the skies, gazing over all of the ~~burning hellscape~~ wonders of NationStates. Oh me, oh my, we saw many terrible things, and we also saw ~~many more terrible things~~ many lovely things! And best of all, we found 29 spots to land and talk about the ~~horrors~~ wonders of r/d. After such a fantastic evening, we left guest books in all of our stopping points, so we can remember the occasion.

The Black Hawks wanted to get out of the nest and explore the spooky sights of Halloween. So, we met up with our friends from EPSA in case anything decided to possess us or steal our strategic candy supply. Instead, we discovered a mansion that was SO OLD, it must have been made waaaay back when people could afford to build one. There were a bunch of ghosts inside, but they weren't scary at all. In fact, they were kind enough to give us cookies and teeth to eat them with.

As we are not savages and didn't want to dirty the floor with crumbs, we went outside and ate at their lovely family picnic table. And who could we have ever met there but Carl, the skeleton. Oh Carl, sweet blessed Carl, his bleach-white incandescent bones light up the night sky as much as he lights up our hearts. His vacant yet menacing eyes filling us with determination. We had a fantastic time chatting with him about life, the future, our hopes and dreams. He's even planning to open an ectoplasm shop next week, isn't that great?

Within the last 36 hours, it was brought to the attention of Council that a few of our members had attempted to influence TSP's process for deciding how to vote on WA matters. These actions were never previously discussed, condoned, or known about by Council prior to our being informed by a third party. Those involved have been reprimanded and all Hawks have been reminded that attempting to any of these sorts of actions in GCRs is a no-go them.

We also regret that we did not inform TSP previously that this was never condoned in any manner by Council, as would have been proper given the circumstances. Should something like this happen again (which we hope it won't), better informing of the regional government in question will be done.

Finally, the Council of Hawks wishes to make clear that we condemn these actions, and any similar ones.
