Coordinated terror attacks shake the country



On October 13th 2020 a serie of coordinated bombings devastated our nation.
It is clear that the objectives of these vile actions are no different than those of the ''RNLA-MA'' during the recent civil war, precisely the straining of inter-ethnic relations and harming the democratic process.

The first bomb exploded at 07:57 in the Katima Central Station, killing 16 and injuring 80.

At 8:05 the alert level was increased to RED.

At 8:20 all the military, law enforcement and PIMARAT Kergstani forces were mobilized.

At 8:28 a second bomb exploded at the Court of Justice of Katima, killing 7 and injuring 16.

At 8:35 PIMARAT special forces were able to defuse a bomb located in a parked car outside the ministry of defense.

At 8:50 A group of armed men opened fire in a church frequented by ethnic Ndonis in Bori killing 41 and injuring 33.

At 9:30 PIMARAT neutralized a group of 30 armed men in Beno City.

At 10:20 the army neutralized a group of 42 armed men in Bok-Borok

At 10:45 A group of 62 armed men entered the city hall of Ngeta, taking 20 people hostage, as of now the situation hasn't been resolved yet.

The quickness of the actions and it's professional organization shocked both the government and people, panic caused lootings and violence in some areas of the country, for the fear of a new civil war.

The situation is in constant change but for now the government has ordered a ban on gatherings of more than 5 people in public, halted public transportation and imposed a curfew from 8 PM to 7 AM.

A Ceremony is held in the EUL capital of Libreville hosted by the Emperor, Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and City Mayor to give hope to the people of Ratsirana.

In honour of the dead National flags across the Empire were lowered to half-mast and the flag of Ratsirana was raised along side the flag of the Empire in front of the Imperial Parliament. If he were honest, King Rodney Windsor had never heard of Ratisirana or Kergstan. But in politics who cared if you had heard of the actors before? What's important is what you do with circumstances as they presented and Rodney had intended to do just that. He had ordered Albionord Global Affairs to open a case and act proactively in opening connections in foreign lands. Formal requests were sent to the needed Ratsirana offices to request travel permission for Albionordic officials to establish the official start of communication. Maybe a cooperative relationship could be struck up favorable to Albiobnord's needs. The special forces of the army attacked the hostage-takers, 3 hostages and 13 officers died, the captors were all either killed or neutralized.

The minister of internal affairs has accused the RNC opposition for the attacks.

Today it was the bloodliest day after the civil war for Ratsirana and our forces played a proactive role in ensuring the safety of the civilian population.

Our intelligence sources have discovered training camps of local militias linked to the former RNLA-MA in the south of the country, while the existence of sleeping cells has become clear to all.

As a way to deter a reignition of the civil war and to better achieve our objectives we have decided to deploy the heavy military vehicles that were on stand-by and will support the operations headed by the Army of Ratsirana.

Today we have lost 4 of our active-duty personnel while 9 remained injured.
I have personally requested an increase in troops and vehicles to the government of Kergstan.

In the next hours we'll secure our diplomatic missions in Ratsirana further, we'll secure the cobalt mining area in the north-west and will increase our capabilities nationwide.

Why International Cooperation is Necessary to Thwart Terrorism

It has been nearly 9 years since the tragic events of 9/11 in New York, and the seemingly endless War on Terror. Today, we mourn again for the innocent lives lost in the African nation called Ratsirana. For too long have we held these poor African nations with prejudice, blaming them for staging terrorist attacks in the Developed World. However, it is precisely these nations that have been hit the hardest with terrorism.

While most terrorists originate from these war-torn nations, we must ask ourselves: "Have we actively incentivised them to become terrorists in the first place?" The answer, unfortunately, is often yes. Shortfalls in the aid of these nations have, for too long, deprived them of necessities, while the quarrels between the various factions often lead to proxy wars within these poor nations. While, in twisted dictators' minds, keeping the Free World preoccupied with "peacekeeping" or "anti-terrorism" is more preferable than having them intervene on home soil, long have they neglected the needs and wants of peoples, both at home and abroad, especially so with inhabitants of the developing world.

Ask yourselves, dear readers, how would you feel if you were a citizen, nay, victim of these pointless quarrels, stuck in the crossfire between two armies, whose reason of fighting is not for defence, nor for overthrowing a tyrant, but because distant dictators' struggles with one another? One would rightfully feel enraged. However, this is unfortunately the case for many nations in Africa, in Central Asia, and in parts of South America.

This must stop. However, while the efforts of restabilising the world by the various countries are valiant, some countries seem to be intent to undo what they have done, with little regards to the consequences of their actions. Some dictators think that, of all things, the victims in these third world countries are of "impure blood", while some others claim to be "spreading the revolution". Those are all excuses, and the true intent is to keep eyes away from their atrocities. When you do not need to answer to the people's will, there is little need to consider the public's feelings, and it seems that the dictators have grasped this quirk, and strive only to extend their power, sometimes at the expense of people's lives.

It is easy to fall into this trap of selfishness. For all leaders, no matter if you're just the leader of a small team, or the leader of a massive nation, remember to put yourselves in the shoes of everyone who will be affected by your actions. And that means that, in the shoes of the poor victims, we must put down our quarrels and strive to maintain peace.

With concern for the security of a vital natural resource on the line being threatened in the beginning of an escalation to a possibly bloody civil war in Ratsirana, Emperor Sebastian I reaches out to the President of Ratsirana offering EUL military security of Cobalt mines in Ratsirana with the promise of not interfering with the Cobalt exports of the Republic. The only thing that the EUL asks in return is a 1 year exemption from taxes relating to docking fees on EUL Cargo ships and terminal fees relating to EUL Cargo planes. Passenger liners of air and sea will not be part of the exemption.

The situation is clearly escalating, since the last update the number of fallen overall including the terrorists, has risen to 36 and as of now the situation in south Beno City has got out of hand and skirmishes between the Army and PIMARAT against the RNLA-MA remnants are taking place.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kergstan held an emergency meeting to approve a military aid package to the brotherly nation of Ratsirana.

The armaments will be taken by the reserve of the PLAK and will consist of :

- 40 x 2S19 Msta self-propelled howitzers
- 80 x T-72 Main battle tanks
- 127 x BTR-80 APCs

- 15.000 x Bulletproof vests
- 6.000 x renovated AK-47
- 2.200 x PK machine guns
- 400 x 9K38 Igla MANPADS
- 600 x GP-25 grenade launchers
- 20.000 grenades

The PLAK will send instructors to teach the right use and show the capabilities of the vehicles.
In addition to the vehicles a stock of required ammunition will be sent.

A group of Nacradian researchers, driving in an unassuming rental sedan, was passing through Beno City towards the southern part of the country to research the local biology. However, just south of the city, disaster struck.

Suddenly, with a loud crack, the front right tyre was deflated. Wrestling to regain control, the sedan came to a gradual halt to the side of the road. "God damned piece of shit!" Exclaimed the driver, as he got out of the car to replace the tyre. At this moment, several more rounds landed near the car, hitting the unfortunate researcher and causing him to fall to the ground. "Hello? Is this the emergency services? We are currently about 20 kilos south of Beno City, in the middle of nowhere. One of us just got shot. He seems to be unresponsive. Please, send help!"

Our PIMARAT forces present in Ratsirana have few hours ago rescued a number of nacradian citizens during the clashes around Beno City while other of our forces were directly involved in quelling the clashes.
As of now the condition of the nacradian citizens is stable except for one of them who is in a critical condition.

Solomon: We give our sympathies and wishes for peace and safety to the people and the government t of Ratsirana, and we wish them well as they confront this terror and rebuild their country. We offer any aid short of military action that you desire, and we are preparing a relief package.

Marc Nuya: The relief package and our foreign aid is due to arrive at 3 pm tomorrow, and it consists of large quantities of medical aid, food, water, money, and vehicles. In addition, we offer to pay any ransoms that the terrorists may demand, and we have already prepared 2 electric buses and $200,000 worth of cash to pay the ransom in Ngeta.

Carrie Ba-Islamabad Çospeaos, head of the Pax Unio party: We condemn all violence and hate, and we will send some Peacekeepers and our finest emergency Doctors and Nurses to Ratsirana. They are expected to arrive in 3 batches: In Bok-Brook at 12:30 tomorrow, Ngeta at 1:40 pm tomorrow, and Beno City at 3 pm tomorrow.
