Welcome to the Monarch Formality Index! To begin with a little context, throughout the times, we have seen various monarchs of sovereign of different styles, cultures and tradition. Some, like the former Tsar of Russia, Nicholas II was deeply entrenched in aristocratic + traditionalist values i.e absolute monarchism, despotism, while other examples such as that of the current King of the Netherlands, Willem-Alexander who practices an entirely different approach towards the royalty concept, such as the absence of a formal coronation event (having been replaced instead with a simple investiture event). In addition, the king himself is actively involved in various works in the country.

The Tsars are not paid a salary, but are instead paid in food, shelter, and privileges (etc.), so the Christian Tsars do not tithe. They are, privately, known to give offerings and other charity work in secret.
