Which? because the ones that occur during the RP are not the same but any that happen in 18 or earlier are mostly the same.... you can change it if its reasonable and wouldn't have a crazy impact on history.

And then for the '19 elections, we got a Republican win in Kentucky and Louisiana and a no one has legally been declared the winner yet because of Mississippi Jim Crow Law stuff in Mississippi the Dem candidate is accentually the Governor-Elect

And just a minor note too, but we do already have had a rather fair number of 2018 Dem wins switched to a Rep wins due to people making Republican Congresspeople who represent districts won by the Dems in 2018 IRL

I'd second Dent's suggestion for Connecticut though

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

So we have for some time been concerned about the congress thread, its likely the most difficult part of the RP with bill writing becoming very very very complicated and research heavy. We have decided we shall be greatly simplifying the bill writing process in order to encourage more people to participate.

Now please consider this a Work in Progress, a pilot program, an experiment for the RP. As of right now we don't have any concrete rules for this so for the foreseeable future please post bills in the OOC before posting it in the Congress thread so we can discuss the language of the bill and make sure our bases are covered, additionally this allows use to develop new rules and regulations.

Thank you for your participation and commitment to the RP, we truly value all of you and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about this or anything else please do not hesitate to ask.

Are we allowed to create foreign characters? As in political leaders. I was thinking that it would be fun if as secondary character I had [Not Putin]. Think about it: it would spice up the game and create more issues for foreign policy for characters to content with.

Nah, sorry friend, only US characters for a US political roleplay.

The furthest we go with foreign characters in foreign ambassadors, who have an extremely limited role.
