The law Newsom signed Saturday says officers must ask inmates privately during the intake process if they identify as transgender, nonbinary or intersex. Those inmates can then request to be placed in a facility that houses either men or women

I think given the danger of housing actual women with their inferior strength with "transgender" biological men with male genitalia is extremely dangerous and stupid.

Following the incident, the plaintiff was moved into the prison’s Health Care Unit, where she was interviewed by internal affairs officers, according to the complaint. The following day, she was interviewed by Sexton, who allegedly told her “that he did not believe her and he pressured Plaintiff to say there was no sexual assault.”
The plaintiff said she was “coerced into providing this statement” and filed a grievance with IDOC soon after regarding that interview. She was then relocated about 40 miles away to the Decatur Correctional Center.

Seems to create a backwards situation. Instead of lying about their gender to rape, they instead use the liberals own logic against them to commit horrific crimes. Im wondering what you all think of this new policy. Combined with a recently lowered penalty for sex offenders in California, this seems like the beginning of a disturbing trend
