The honourable Chairwoman of the Federation Oomiya Sakura will be celebrating her 861st birthday this year on the 8th of October, 2020. For the first time this year, we are inviting all nations to send a delegation to her birthday gala. Delegates are welcome to enter and stay in the outer gardens of the Chairwoman's Residence for the duration of the event (from 8AM to 7PM), and may be individually selected to meet Chairwoman Oomiya. For those countries that are seeking to send a representative, please fill the below form.
Please note: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds all nations that foreigners, even security personnel, can only carry nonlethal weapons within our Federation's borders. Furthermore, all weapons are strictly forbidden within the boundaries of the Chairwoman's Residence. All foreigners must enter and exit the Chairwoman's Residence through the east side, by the Gate of Daybreak. Foreigners are not permitted within the inner gates of the Chairwoman's Residence.
We would also like to inform delegates that they may participate in the annual tradition of "Pudding and Lantern Festival." Each year many thousands of well-wishers line up outside the gates and place cups of pudding or parfait on the ground. At the end of the day, people release lanterns into the sky, and Chairwoman Oomiya usually samples a few parfait and pudding. It is said that the person who made the best parfait will be blessed with good health in the next year, and the person who made the best pudding will achieve their true dreams. For this reason year after year the crowds only get larger in celebration of Chairwoman Oomiya's birthday on 8th of October.
