That post was made 2 years ago, when the system back then allowed you to directly purchase cards from your puppets for any amount of bank

As cards during that time was a mere April Fools event, the system has naturally undergone significant changes now that cards are a permanent feature in the game; selling cards to yourself for 0.01 doesn't work anymore
