( Draft ) Liberate Union of Kingmakers

Postby KingMaker » Fri Sep 18, 2020 1:00 am

The Security Council,

The region of Union of Kingmakers has been home to a regional community for over three years. Very old indeed and was refounded On 16/12/2018 by Graveyardwatch 38 and kept it as a trophy, which is currently password-protected the region. The true natives of Union of Kingmakers consider this as an occupation by foreign power.

With a secret password in place, it would be impossible for the natives of Union of Kingmakers to reclaim their region, With great history of the past, Union of Kingmakers doesn't deserve to be under foreign occupation. Therefore World Assembly intervention is the only course of action left, which will allow the rightful inhabitants of Union of Kingmakers to reclaim their home.

Therefore, the World Assembly hereby lifts the password on the region of Union of Kingmakers, and forbids said region from being password-protected.

This appears to be at least partially plagiarised from SC#4 and SC#11.

Original or not, the Union of KingMakers has only been around for three years and - since the password was imposed by a founder that is currently active - this Liberation does nothing.

If it gets libarated, it becomes an active region again rather than a trophy.

There's no reason to, Honeydew and Tin are right. The liberation won't do anything since the Delegate is non-exec and the Founder is active.

As written your draft is illegal (Rule 3). It would also accomplish precisely nothing. Imposing a Liberation would have no effect on the Founder imposed password.

Edit: I also agree with Tinhampton - you look to have pinched your second clause almost verbatim from other resolutions. That would be an R2(a) violation and could cost you your WA membership if submitted unchanged.
