Also Trump: Joe Biden has been a Washington politician for 47 years, he spent decades in the Senate where all they do is debate, he was vice president twice, and debated on the national stage in each of those races, and did very well. In the Democrat primaries, he debated a whole crowd of opponents, 11 times, and he won. He bested two dozen Democrat challengers. He knows his way around the debate stage, he knows how to do it. He’s actually quite good. He is a professional and he can debate. Biden is going to do great.

Mr. Trump’s mishandling of the virus, and his administration’s attempts to downplay or distort information about its severity, has emerged as a major vulnerability heading into the election, especially among educated suburban voters.

Mr. Trump continues to talk about the virus in dismissive terms, against the advice of advisers, who have urged him to talk less about the pandemic and more about the economy, law enforcement and other issues.

Bloomberg has raised 16 million dollars to pay the court fines and fees of nearly 32,000 Black and Hispanic Florida voters with felony convictions to order to allow them to vote.

Just throwing it out there that Bloomberg is so wealthy there was no need for him to "raise" those funds, he could've just done it.

Indubitably. However, some of those extremes have brought people down some very dark paths, paths that ultimately lead to some form of anti-intellectualism. The world as a whole seems to be experiencing that right now, and technology is amplifying that. 2020 I think will undoubtedly pivot one way or the other.

There are other dimensions to people than the "culture war", you know. The lack of good pandemic relief for farmers and tangible economic improvement for rural areas, for one.
