Why does the forums dont accept images from other sources?

I have been trying to post images which are hosted in Discord. Images from Imgur and ImgBB gets accepted. I would like to know why discord is not allowed. if that was accepted then it would be useful.

Yep, we had to block Discord as an image-host because of problematic usage. Existing posts are okay, but you will hit the check if you edit or create a post that embeds images from there.

You've not been able to use discord hosted images on the forums since April 10th. You're going to need to upload the image to another hosting site. I personally use imgBB but Imgur, Google Photos and Flickr are other popular options as well.
