World Volleyball eXpo, Sign Ups (WVE X)

Well Hello there. After consulting with IX host Cassadaigua and the rest of the community I decided near the middle of the World Cup I should open these and get the hype ready after two months of a wait for Volleyball and get sign-ups underway.

The plan is as normal for a GS, followed by knockouts all in Taeshan. Sign-ups will be open until the last day of regular qualifying in the World Cup Sunday September 20th. The thread would be opened that night, and while I prefer 32/40 entrants everyone who comes before then will be guaranteed a spot in the final tournament at least.

Also of note I will not yet use ranks in this tournament because there has been one in the last 3 years. I will however look to use last tournaments results to format groups with returning quarterfinalists being in pot 1, returning round of sixteen qualifying teams pot 2, GS pot3/4 to sort of give this some feeling of ascension. Teams who do not return will be replaced as much as possible by the next highest scoring team from the last tournament. With new entrants having a blind draw to fill up any remaining positions.

Well this is a new one. Dryicor's recently decided to get back into sport, and though a cold nation in the north of Scandinavia like ours isn't exactly cut out for volleyball, indoor volleyball has recently become a huge craze, and it's only right that we participate.

And, of course, if we participate, the tournament gets a wiki page.
