His Most Gracious Majesty, Christophe II, By The Grace Of God, King Of New Carthagea And The Emperor Of Phoenicians,

Realising that the power vacuum which has arisen from the death of the Prime Minister Joseph Adhamanon, and 12 other Members of Parliament during the attacks on the New Carthaginian Parliament, has lead to political instability and mistrust in the nation ;

Understanding the fact that it is fair for the New Carthaginian people to have the freedom to once more choose their leader in a free, fair and democratic process for filling that power vacuum ;

Has declared elections to be held for all 200 constituencies of the most noble People's House on the fifteenth and sixteenth of the month of September of 2020, and has ordered the Election Commission Of New Carthagea to undertake the fair management of the entire process.

The Main Dispatch Of The Elections

His Majesty has also given foreign countries and their representatives the right to endorse, or support, only morally, and not monetarily, any of the candidate or party which is contesting in the elections. His Majesty has ordered that the following facts be known to the countries willing to endorse.

• There are 6 parties participating in the elections for the Parliament.
• Only 2 of those parties, the Carthaginian Congress, and the Conservatives, have declared their PM candidates. None of the others have, due to their regional / minor presence in the country.
• Countries should NOT provide any monetary or financial aid to any of the candidates or parties. Doing so will disqualify the candidate from the elections, and the Head of Government of the guilty country shall be prosecuted for violating New Carthaginian electoral code, and for committing a financial crime.

"The Chamavian Federation wishes wholeheartedly that New Carthagea can successfuly hold elections to peacefully and fairly elect representatives to the country's legislature. The Federal Government expresses its explicit condemnations of the events that have led to this election, and mourns the death of Prime Minister Adhamanon. It is in the interests of the people of New Carthagea, the Chamavian Federation, and the entire world, that free, fair, and peaceful elections may continue. These elections may provide much-needed stability to Carthagea following such horrible attacks. The Federal Government extends its hand to both Alberta Thenorire and Mithon Undaraut in these troubling times, and following the elections we wish to enhance cooperation with the new government of New Carthagea."
