Okay, then I don't need to sleep on it. Not telling the authorities, maybe even traveling with a false passport, might result in an international incident as the Free Lands take the householder's rights very serious. You could do it, and if you insist, I will let you do it, but it might have unforeseen consequences neither of us wants.
What we could do is, that the Empire tells the Government of the Free Lands, who she is and where she will go and asks for there being no big deal, no security detail, no nothing so that she can make the trip incognito. The Free Lands would agree.

No, actually. There's around 16 teen/young adult idols total in Ezhara, and all of them are Talents, though not all Talents are Idols, e.g. Dolgae just makes music and Darius Basho is an artist, with both being Talents, but not Idols. Both of them do have fanbases of varying size, though most Talents really don't have a substantial following since Ezharan media is obligated to stay mostly quiet about Talents until late high school years, to prevent anything from interfering with the development of their passion. Still, Dolgae here has a moderate fandom and his music's videos have ended up with some merchandise, but it's nothing as big as Kaz/Darius and technically Eiko, though Eiko also isn't legally recognized as one because he denied the offer, which is confusing to pretty much every Ezharan.

He acted/acts really well and near-constantly, which is why nobody really realized that anything was wrong with him until really recently. Because of how he was raised and everything that's happened to him, he's just never really been emotional, and whenever he is, he prefers expressing it through the lens of a character because he wants to entertain other people over acknowledging that he might be broken. Of course, there usually comes a time where he just can't do that anymore, as we saw.
But that's Eiko. Dolgae's personality is a wack sleep schedule, whereas his mom is a little on the playful side.

@Selkie, can I sign up Baron Punchev Lukov and a couple of his buddies to attend the festivities ? In my opinion, it would create for some interesting situations between Lukov and some of the other characters from nations that may have been in some intense exchanges on the internet in a string of PiffNet posts that were taken down (were too edgy I suppose).

Unless your country is a signatory to the International Criminal Court or any other similar institutions in the NS universe. In which case Lukov won't be attending as I'm sure there may have been issued an international warrant for his arrest or even conviction in abstentia.

And no, Lukov is neither going to shoot anyone on sight that may look to him as a Jew nor is he going to be killing anyone.

In the posts that were deleted, Lukov voiced probably the most intense flavor of Anti-Semitism you could read through (no racial slurs were used except the echos), including raising the Blood Label and the like. And to confessing to '' processing'' of an entire town of Jews as a response to the disappearance of a local Cassadian boy in a nearby town whose inhabitants accused the nearby Jewish settlement of kidnapping him to be used as a sacrifice in their rituals.

I could go on, but I'm afraid I'll get the mods on me again if I were to continue on describing how the events unfolded later on.

Arguably, to be an Ezharan Idol, one would also be a Talent, and the opportunities offered in the Ezharan Idol industry would probably be more substantial than just being a Talent-singer/musician. That said, there were probably some who became Idols first and were then offered Talent and vice versa, but generally, the standard Talent system focuses almost exclusively on developing their passions whereas Idols, as in real life, have a greater profit concern behind them.
Kaz's personality comes entirely separately from that, though — he's just always been attention-seeking.

They've never traveled out of the Empire before and the Free Lands seemed like an excellent place to start. As far as crushes go . . . well, that has distinct possibilities. Which of your characters might be interested? I'd rather not make the first move, but I can if you want me to.

As for interested characters interested in crushing... how about your lad catches the eye of a Selkie-lass, while your lass finds one of my lads (or lassies, if she is so inclined ; )) quite smashing? I might already have someone in mind, pending how he is as a person.

Mau (as his family & friends call him) is the kind of guy who's a lot of fun to be around but you probably wouldn't want to invite him home to meet your parents: card shark, not the greatest with authority figures, and kind of a class clown. He's a really nice guy, though, so I think he and Ribin are going to get along like a house on fire. I'll hold off on Zena if you don't mind, I'm a dude IRL and it would feel kinda weird doing stuff like that as a (underage, to boot) girl.

Also, I see we've got our Lawful Evil^TM contingent here with Cassadia. Speaking of which, Cassadia, if you care, Brettenwald is a signatory to the Amistad Declaration but not a member of the International Criminal Court . . . yet. I might change that at some point in the future.

I see Cassadia's joining the party. If it helps, the Confederation is an Amistad signatory, and considers your fantastical Nazi baron (as well as his legion and the government in general) hostis humani generis, which in the language of TV Tropes translates to Always Chaotic Evil. (Link leads to an example of how the Visayan government formally condemns slaver governments.)
