[Inquiry] Deletion of Shtet and related puppets

I'd like to inquire about the sudden deletion of an NSer known as Shtet who was more commonly known by his puppet name, Wuchu. I understand that such a drastic and swift action by the mod team would mean that there must be some serious evidence and reasoning behind such a move.

All I ask is that I, and many others who are most definitely surprised by the swift removal of Shtet and their related puppets, be given some closure about why a moderator has decided to remove their prescence completely from the site. It's not exactly calming nor fair to see someone with no visible prior history be shadowbanned from a site of which they are or well, were, a valuable part of.

Yes, I'm quite aware of that policy. Thank you for pointing me to the obvious, dear. I feel so much better knowing that nations are being shadowbanned while the rest of the community is left in the dark about their fates.

Come to think of it, I think you're pointing me in a more productive direction. I'll probably open up a discussion sometime soon about the mod team's policy of staying radio silent about shadowbanning nations. Might not lead me anywhere but it's rather frustrating to see a member get axed all of a sudden and that the rest just have to believe that the mods were just and right in their actions.

If Shtet's done something completely against the rules, I'm not here to defend him at all. I'm here to ask for a bit of transperency and communcation.

Not quite sure why you are taking that bitter and snarky tone with me, considering your query was asking for information related to deleted nations that are not your own, and I provided an example of previous Mod opinion on the matter. But hey, if you don't want help then I'll take my leave.

I'm sorry. I shouldn't have taken my frustration onto you. I'm just frustrated with the mod team's general policy about staying radio silent. I'll simply make a discussion topic when I get the chance because the current policy promotes nothing but mistrust, fear and paranoia.

Hello, this is Shtet/Wuchu/Obeehosee/whatever. I was originally going to make an inquiry post myself in the morning (it's evening for me here), but since this is here, I'll make this tonight. I would like to know why I was deleted today, and related, why I was deleted a bit over a year ago as my first nation - Leskya - and likewise related puppets.

When I was deleted back then, I made several inquries, but were never told any reasons.
Since then, I've developed a personal idea of why I was deleted, and to put simply, I genuinely think it was a misunderstanding: if I [Leskya] was deleted because I (supposedly) had multiple nations in the WA, I can explain it now. I believe the reason is that, shortly before I was deleted, I installed a very nasty, free but working VPN which my friend recommended to me. The VPN uses public IPs - or something like that, either way, the IPs were accessed by all users, so, when I logged in as Leskya and began using the VPN, and another user did the same, it looked like one user with several nations - several of which were in the WA.

While I may not be able to prove this pet-theory, I'd like to point to the fact that none of the puppets that I made while using Leskya were in the WA. Similarly, none of the nations deleted today, including Shtet, were in the WA. I knew very well then and now that multiple nations in the WA is prohibited.

If it isn't this - and, honestly, I really don't know what else could have happened, because both then and now I was really uncontroversial, and as Leskya, barely even interacted with anyone on the forums, so I don't know what I could have done wrong - then, well, I suppose I'll wake up to see this post locked and this nation deleted, and that'll be the end of my time with NationStates.

Sorry if this seems ranty. It's late, I'm tired, and everso emotionally drained.
