3: Not all congressional districts have to go to 1 party. Especially since Texas is the most populated state in this RP, it would have the most districts in the entire country, and some can be from a minority party. Even reliably Democratic states today like California has red districts.

Clarifications and updates

I also need to make some clarifications.

All current Senators are presumed to be the Senior Senator in their respective states. This allows for another RPer to play as the 2nd Senator, and it'll make addressing these characters a little easier (I believe rl Senators address each other as "the junior/senior senator from (insert state)". If you want to be the junior senator, tell me and I'll make that change

Secondly, I have no reliable way of figuring out how the congressional district maps for each state will look (besides the least populated ones). Due to this, I request that we use today's congressional maps. I do not foresee this being a problem due to the fact that most characters are either governors or senators.

And going forward, I would like for decisions like the attack by Mexico be made here in the OOC. While I'm not necessarily against a war, I also intended for this to be more of an internal affair. Everything I said here will be added to the rules. If you don't like them, please tell me why, and we can make a compromise.

Okay, with three additional states plus massive population increases in the existing ones, I'm debating on whether or not we should have 435 reps or increase it to say, 500 or more. Regardless, if they have a slight majority, I'll put it somewhere between 51% to 59%.

For the Senate, we'll have 106 Senators in total. I'm not sure if you guys established if the Senate is controlled by the Republicans or not, so I'll look back at it and I'll make an adjustment.
