I say the Republicans. The Democrats moderate on pretty much everything, but the Republicans' are further to the right than today. The National Progressives are also the antithesis to the Republicans, since the NPs are the radical version of the Democrats. So, if you consider the NPs to be a wing of the Democratic Party, they're the most radical. But if you're strictly talking about Democratic vs Republican, then it's the Republicans

Would a separatist Louisiana movement work in the spirit of this RP?

Yes. The country is fracturing, so any state that wishes to be free can do so once the Constitutional Convention begins.

Edit: The rule is that you CAN, but you CANNOT have political characters in the same state. For example, due to you being North Carolina's governor, you cannot also have a North Carolian Senator, Representative, state senator, mayor etc. You CAN have a senator/rep from a different state

With that, I believe the inclusion of some cyberpunk/sci-fi elements is in order.Concepts such as thesewill be included. Taller, more advanced skyscrapers, a better national transportation network, improved infrastructure, and an increase in drones and driver-less cars. Maybe androids too

Of course, these concepts just add extra flavor. But I do hope it'll make the RP more fun

I was thinking of adding extra lore for this world, but in other RPs I hosted, I noticed that most of it isn't necessary. Cries in hours spent on lore in an RP

So I am probably going to aim for Nevada or Virginia, but on a very serious note...what happens to the United States once these states leave? I mean there is probably going to be something happening in regards to the stability of a country where portions are just up, and leaving.

I thought about it, and I'm not entirely sure.

The military will most likely be divided up among the states. For example, soldiers from North Carolina will be sent back there. Each state's national guard will become its de facto military

The international treaties (UN, NATO etc) will not feature the United States anymore and each region of the former USA will figure out their own way forward. All of the US military oversees may or may not remain there as the crisis continues

I was planning on the dissolution occurring through UN sponsored voting. The states will vote on the peaceful dissolution, and then it'll go out to the people.

The stock markets may crash due to this, which probably sets up an economic disaster. Speaking of which, if California, Texas, and New York all leave to form their own country, the rest of the country (regardless of whether they declare independence) will suffer from it.

As for crime, I imagine the National Guard will be deployed, and maybe even the actual army if chaos occurs. There may be political assassinations and increase of terrorism as well

Washington D.C most likely becomes an independent city where all of the former states will meet at to discuss matters.

We could implement European Union-esque laws with trade and open borders.
