Government Description : The Empire of Niflheim is ruled by the Emperor, a member of the Aldercapt dynasty for many generations now. The Emperor's power is complete and absolute, confirmed and enshrined in the Empire's constitution.

Reporting directly to the Emperor are the Chancellor, Ardyn Izunia, the right hand man of the Emperor and handler of all foreign as well as political affairs the Emperor or the Chancellor deem unworthy of his time, the High Commander of the Niflheim Military, General Glauca as well as Chief Researcher Verstael Besithia, head of the highly influential research division.

Ardyn Izunia, having become chancellor 34 odd years ago, handles or rather delegates much of the Empire's day to day affairs. Much of the Imperial Civil Administrative Apparatus is under Ardyn's control and ensures that the Empire works smoothly, even if the chancellor is running off on whatever silly but ultimately shrewd and long planned adventure. With his incredibly power over the politics and bureaucracy of the Empire, the chancellor is almost all powerful, the only parts of Niflheim which he does not fully control being the Military and the Ministry of Research...yet even here his power is strong, him using both personal charme and charisma as well as his political clout to force submission or aid from members of those organisations should he so desire in his schemes.

Below the chancellor stand the regional gouvernors. These are high ranking civil administrators who enforce the Emperor's will in their respective regions through the use of law and bureacracy. They are generally elected by the regions' citizens from a pool of noteworthy and accomplished regional citizens, selected by the chancellor and the previous governour. Upon being elected, a governour must travel to the Emperor's throne room in Zegnautus Keep, above Gralea to serve fealty to the Emperor and be approved by him. Should the Emperor wish to do so, he can disapprove of the elected governour and force a re-election. The governours' terms last for 10 years.

Having spent practically all the last 4 centuries at war with the Kingdoms of Lucis, Tenebrae and Accordo, the importance of the military within the Niflheim State must not be understated. In fact, the culture of the Empire has grown highly militarized, military members and careers being highly idolized and youths signing up en masse to the military despite its declining need for human recruits. Now being every Emperor's most reliable and favourite tool of choice to deal with things and having been waging a war against practically the rest of the world, the Imperial Military is extremely well funded and a major force in Imperial Politics. It is led by General Glauca, whose deputy high commander is Ravus Nox Fleuret, a member of the former Tenebran royal family.

Below Glauca and Fleuret stand the Brigadier Generals, high ranking members of the Imperial Warmachine, acting as regional governours of regions not yet fully incorporated into the Empire or as brigade level commanders for special forces brigades. They hold significant political clout, being seen as heroes in the Empire and having practically dictatorial powers in regions they govern, reporting solely to their superiors which in this case are the high commander or the Emperor himself.

Lastly there is the Imperial Ministry of Research, one of the main driving forces behind the Empire's rise and the vast expansion of its military. The Research Ministry focuses on archeology of the ancient civilization of Solheim, uncovering its Magitek secrets, researching and emulating them and thus laying the groundwork for the Empire's swift technological progress and success. It's funding is vast, vaster even than the military's as it provides the Magitek the military uses in the first place. The Imperial Ministry of Research not only includes...well...researchers but basically includes the entire military industrial complex of the nation as well as being the guiding hand of innovation for regular industries and corporations in the Empire. There is also the issue that, due to reporting solely to the Emperor, the Ministry is essentially outside of regular imperial law enforcenment and while it attempts to keep breaches of the laws under wraps, it still has a fairly dubious track record, especcially since the collaboration between chancellor Izunia and chief researcher Besithia.

Lastly, there is of course the common citizens of the Empire. Those officially recognized as citizens that is. For not everyone can be a citizen. They must either have been the child of Niflheim citizens or live in Niflheim for 10 years as well as own property there or be born in Niflheim. Non-citizens that attempt to live within the Empire rather than its conquered, integrated autonomous regions for example, may face harsh limitations to their daily life, not racism not being the least of which as Niflheim citizens are proud of their heritage and status and consider citizens of other nations lower and weaker than them. For example, non-citizens are barred from serving in the military, solid/secure positions with unlimited contracts within the imperial administration are barred to them and they are not to be hired for any job that requires a degree or diploma.

Territory : Increased my territory a bit to make my mental internal subdivions a bit more aesthetically pleasing.
Territorial Ambitions : There is only one future for the world. And it is a Nif one.
Capital City : Gralea, X marks the spot.
Population: 200~ million officially recognized citizens of the Empire. 70~ million Daemons. Tens of thousands of Besithia clones.

Majority/Official Culture : Niflheimer. Seems rather difficult to pinpoint a specific culture equal to it. Generally feels more western/central/northern European I guess? With a bit of Rome mixed in.

Majority/State Religion: Astral Worship/Antagonism

Major Industries / Economic sectors: The Empire has covered much of its industrial basis itself, being highly proficient especcially when it comes to military production as well as the production of machinery. robotics, cloning and the harvesting of resources to allow the Empire to feed its ever growing warmachine have been significantly expedited.
Amount of Industrialization : Very industrialized wherever citizens of the Empire live, citizens being forced to live in a limited number of settlements, closely together due to the unique environmental situation of the Empire.
Economic Description : Back on Eos, the Empire, having been denied access to magic, relied heavily on uncovered Magitek from those who came before them, turning themselves into the most heavily industrialized nation in Eos and laying the groundwork for the long war which was to come.

During the war, Imperial technology was improved ever further, as efficiency was key in the battle against Lucian magic and all the other nations aligned with the Kingdom of Lucis. With ever new breakthroughs in Magitek, the Empire still managed to thrive immensely across all sectors, despite the costly war being waged against the Lucians.

That was untill the decline. A mere 10 odd years ago, the Oracle of Tenebrae made a pact with the Astral Shiva...which awakened the Astral within the Empire, forcing the Imperial Army into battle with the literal goddess. The Imperial Army did eventually prove victorious, killing the Astral...yet at an immense price, crippling the human troops of the Imperial Army forever, making the use of Magitek Infantry more prominent and, most importantly, turning much of the Empire, even the hottest deserts, into almost unnaturally cold snowscapes, filled with little but ice and snow.

The impact on the Imperial economy was devastating and large scale relocation programs had to be undertaken to save the citizens of the Empire from the merciless cold and carve out functioning cities, societies and transport networks across this new, hellish landscape. However, the terrible weather anomaly has badly crippled the Empire's economy, first and foremost the resource extraction economy, a blow they normally wouldn't be able to recover from so easily if they didn't already hold vast territories outside of the now frozen heart of the Empire which could feed the Empire's industry and help it along the decade of reorientation.

Now the production facilities in the Empire are of great quality and efficiency, producing with a speed and precision few can match...yet it seems that a strange occurence has removed and broken the Empire from Eos and the elaborate infrastructure network as well as exploitable regions full of resources have vanished or been broken up, leaving the industry lacking the fuel it so desperately needs to work at its full efficiency. New mineral deposits will have to be found to return it to its former glory.

Technological Level : ....uuuuuuhhhh...dunno. Definitely FanT. But wether paired with PMT or FT I can't fully tell.
Magic and other shenanigans? : The Empire, while not directly using magic, is heavily into Magitek. It powers robots, mechs, airships, combat armour, prostheses and many, many more things, making physically seemingly impossible things quite...possible.

Then there is also the Starscourge, a disease that turns humans and animals alike into demons, horribly mutating them and almost completely eradicating their psyche, turning many of them into almost mindless monsters hell bent on little more than stalking the night and mauling humans. The Empire has managed to successfully weaponize the Starscourge as well as Demons, using both within their Magitek and armed forces...yet it also suffers from them, the wild and roads outside the Empire's settlements becoming unsafe at night and the disease spreading among the population. The Imperial chancellor, Ardyn Izunia, is the current primary origin and master of the Starscourge, having power over the infection as well as the infected and using it to his advantage in his schemes within the Empire. Both due to his nature with the Star Scourge as well as his heritage as a member of the royal Lucis Caelum bloodline, the imperial chancellor boasts an impressive array of clearly magical powers.

Arms Manufacturing - In the late 21st and early 22nd century, rising sea levels completely crippled the arms industry in Europe with entire factories being forced to shut down due to the rising waters. As a result, many arms manufacturers- including those present in the coastal United States, moved to the relatively spacious continent of Australia to establish new manufacturing lines there. At present, the Oceania Administrative Zone is the United Nations' second largest arms manufacturer, second only to the East Asian Free Trade Zone.

Research and Development - New Zealand, after erecting a massive coastal barrier against the rising sea levels, heavily invested in Research and Development. As China was heavily devastated by the rising waters, with entire cities being wiped out by the floods, New Zealand instituted a refugee program that prioritized skilled immigrants that specializes in R&D. As a result, a burgeoning R&D sector was established in the island. After the United Nations absorbed the country, the UN established the UN R&D Division headquarters in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Navy Shipbuilding - As South Korea's multinational shipbuilding companies were struggling with the increasing water levels, they decided to move their production lines to Australia. After the United Nations absorbed all nation-states into one unified world government, the United Nations designated Australia as one of its internal defense manufacturers- designed to develop state-of-the-art navy warships in order to counter any possible revolutionary movements or holdouts (the Afghan state for example) that resist United Nations rule.

Mining - As Earth's resources were being dedicated to build space-faring ships to colonize Mars and beyond, the UN decided to grant mining companies permission to mine in Australia for the first time after UN environmental decrees temporarily halted all environmentally damaging activities on Earth as a result of climate change. Currently, all mining corporations are heavily regulated by the UN Environmental Czar and advancements in mining currently minimize environmental impact.

Spaceship Building Industry- Although most of the shipbuilding is done in orbit or in Luna, the United Nations has three backup facilities on Earth- one of which is located in Adelaide. Despite being much smaller-scale than the Bush shipyard in Luna, it is capable of producing Epstein drives and smaller naval frigates such as the Leonidas-class battleship.

Healthcare Industry - In the 21st century, a pandemic crippled the world and its economy. New Zealand emerged as one of the world's most competent government that dealt with the pandemic. To ensure that there will be no repeat, New Zealand allocated immense funds and investments on healthcare technology and advancements. In the 22nd century, when the United Nations formally formed into a unified world government, the United Nations' World Health Organization, moved to dedicate resources to the healthcare industry in New Zealand. In a span of a few decades, the Oceania Free Trade Zone had the world's' most advanced medical care and facilities and was the center of medical research.

Amount of Industrialization : Heavily industrialized. Two centuries of heavy industrialization were the result of migrating corporations and industries fleeing from the rising sea levels. Oceania has production facilities that were originally designed to mitigate the United Nations' over-reliance on orbital and Lunar industrial facilities.

Economic Description : The United Nations is a mixed-market economy. State-run corporations are not uncommon here. It is frequent to hear about private corporations and state-run companies engaging in friendly competition. There are different state regulating bodies that oversee each sector. Nevertheless, small and medium sized enterprises are healthily present and are abundant in the United Nations. The United Nations, specifically the Oceania Administrative Zone, specializes in industry and technological development. The Oceania Administrative Zone serves as Earth's secondary science center, after the UN Science Service based in Luna.

Technological Level : 23rd century PMT. Spacecraft are capable of sub-light speed due to the invention of the Epstein drive. High-energy railguns and offensive/defensive orbital nuclear platforms exist. Most space warships fight with high-powered PDCs and torpedoes and are structured in a way that puts force of gravity into consideration.

The Oceania Administrative Zone was considered by the UN as a relatively peaceful zone and thus had lesser concentration of UNMC personnel compared to the heavily populated East Asia Free Trade Zone and the politically-unstable Central Asian Free Trade Zone. It has the smallest number of stationed personnel on Earth. Nevertheless, the contingent on Oceania is still considered large by modern standards.

National Goals : To establish a world order to uphold justice and democracy across the world.


History : In the mid 21st century, Earth was undergoing drastic change. The effects caused by global warming and climate change manifested itself in the flooding and sinking of entire megacities all across the world. This event led to the collapse of several world governments and the deaths of millions of people. As a result, the United Nations as an institution moved to consolidate its power to curb the bureaucratic web of individual nation-states that are ineffective in dealing with the crisis. Eventually, the world's major powers- the United States, Russia, China, Japan, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil and South Africa all ceded their sovereignty to the United Nations and established a new world order encompassing the entire world. Shortly after this, massive projects were undertaken to reclaim the sunken cities by constructing large seawalls using the latest technological and engineering advancements available to mankind. Not all nations were comfortable with ceding their independence to the UN however and challenged the United Nations in war. Several rouge nations attempted to resist the encroaching United Nations but were swiftly dealt with because of the sheer amount of manpower and technological superiority of the United Nations.

In the mid-21st century, individual nation-states launched the first colonists to Mars in an attempt to establish a second-lifeline for humanity amid a failing Earth. Three generations later, the Martian colonies were now under the control of the United Nations as a UN colony. In the mid-22nd century, the UN and the Martian colonial government and people were having strained relations after a series of economic policies threatened to collapse the Martian economy. This continued on for some time, with tensions at all time high. The balance of power however dramatically shifted when a Martian engineer named Solomon Epstein invented the Epstein drive and gave Mars an advantage. In exchange for the blueprints of the Epstein drive, the United Nations will give Mars full independence and in doing so, the Martian Congressional Republic was born.

For the next 100 years, using the developments and upgrades of the Epstein drive, the UN and Mars would go on a race to colonize the asteroid belt. Eventually, the United Nations and Mars would divide the belt into blue and red zones and would occasionally cooperate with one another. However, a cold-war level of tension permeates the entire solar system and skirmishes between the UN and MCR are happening occasionally. This conflict has put the belter colonists unto a disadvantage, inciting hatred and disdain for both the UN and the MCR from the belt.

Government Description : The Führer rules the entirety of the Reich and none wish to speak against him. His power is absolute and unlimited and none would ever dare question it for he is practically their god made flesh.

Below the Führer stand the Occult Generals, liches who sold their souls or had them sold in exchange for immense power and undying loyalty to their one and only master, the Führer. They command and summon the endless rabble that are the Führer's armies.

Below the Occult Generals are the Summoners, former officer of the Nazi army, operated on and changed by the occult forces under the Führer's command. Despite their undeath they retain some of their personality, making them somewhat capable field commanders and through the modifications done to them by skeletal doctors, they are able to resurrect and summon new troops through great pain on their part.

A bit outside of the regular chain of command is the Führerkult. These are the mortal servants of the Führer and they consist out of all sorts of people but are first and foremost fanatics. Absolutely fanatical SS and Waffen SS, Volkssturm and Wehrmacht, members of the Reich administration or scientists. Their reasons for continuing to serve the Führer despite everything vary, some of them simply being far too loyal for their own good, others again believing in the supremacy of the undead and that undeath is the desirable future for themselves and the world and some even just being straight-up doomers who don't give a toss anymore. They work all kinds of jobs within the society of the undead Reich, as architects, stormtroopers, scientists, ritualists, infiltrators and whatnot in return they enjoy a certain sense of security fromt he Zombies...though not 100% either.

Amount of Industrialization : Barely industrialized except for several key holdings acting as extremely industrialized factories of the dead.
Economic Description : With the initial execution of Plan Z, practically all economic activity in Germany ground to a screeching halt as the dead rose from their graves and began their relentless assault upon everyone they could set their sights on. The undead hordes barely had any form of direction, being guided only by the occasional Occult General whose sole objective was the execution and proliferation of Plan Z and not the creation of a new nation of the dead.

Things changed when the zombies breached the Führerbunker and slew the Führer.

With the Führer having joined the ranks of the undead and somehow getting his cold hands on the Book of Souls, he regained much of his former sense of self and began to assume control of the shambling hordes. Zombies were set to work, crafting new structures while the living who still fought for their Führer were let into their ranks and set to work, planning and creating new structures to aid the zombie warmachine. Dead Factories where corpses were gathered and outfitted with weapons or armour, ammunition factories, and whatnot sprung up once more, clad in heavy concrete and adorned with cannons and artillery and the unliving corpses of traitors and enemies.

Technological Level : PT with some whacky stuff
Magic and other shenanigans? (If any exists) : YES. You have the dead, rising over and over again, magical skeletons, fireball throwing, buff demon, possessed german soldiers, undead supersoldiers, spooky rituals, demonic voices and possession and a Führer who can stop bullets from hitting him. There be magic and occultism sprinkled all over this.

Military Description

Army: Practically 80% of the entire army, that being roughly 24 million, are little more than shambling Zombies. They have some basic intelligence and a hunger for flesh. They never tire and they always shamble forward. Frost and flame don't interest them as they keep going to whatever target has been set for them, if there's been one set for them. Most of them merely hold some form of "weapon" for melee combat which they swing about if they get in range but some of them still cling on to the weapons they held in life and their rotten fingers might just press the trigger occasionally.

They are however by no means useless. These creatures are fully capable of building elaborate structures or operate machinery, needing nothing but the right and proper guidance. Not tiring at their job, they thus have a tendency to actually build quite quickly, despite their slow pace. Efforts have been made by the Führer to outfit the zombies with weapons and armour, greatly enhancing their combat capabilities. Their increased strength, capable of ripping apart humans, allows them to actually wear quite a bit of metal on their bodies before they would crumble under the weight.

Second to the Zombies are the Skeletons, atleast 4,5 million in number, which serve as faster Shocktroops. Not slowed by the weak flesh, these bony fiends walk swiftly towards their intended targets. The only way to truly kill them is to destroy the beating heart nestled within their ribcage. They are often older than the regular undead fiends, having been resurrected from older tombs and graves and thus tend to sometimes still wear armour from ancient times, enchanted by sorcerors of old and the occult energies of Plan Z which allow them to tank some bullets or explosives. Though wearing an armour does eliminate the speed advantage they gained by having no flesh, slowing them down immensely.

These hordes are backed up by many types of specialized undead. Wether it is the dreadful Suicide Zombies equipped with dynamite, satchel charges and stick grenades, rushing enemies with a speed that'd make an olympic runner pale in envy and letting out their trademark otherworldy screach, heralding their approach. They are also known to be used as minefield, popping out of otherworldly portals in front of their enemies and blowing themselves up. There's the devilish Deadeye Snipers, zombie super soldiers created already before the execution of Plan Z. Sadistic sons of bitches, their cold dead heads hold their weapons perfectly steady while their occultly enhanced eyes acquire targets with an otherworldly precision. To change their positions is an easy feat for these evil creatures as their jumping ability is unparalleled, allowing them to jump from the ground straight onto a multi story house.

Chainsaw Elites, MG Elites and Fire Demons form the heavy hitter of the Zombie Army. Their bodies warped and contorted by occult energies or demonic possession, they possess a strength and durability far beyond what would be humanly possible and form bulwarks withint he advancing Zombie Hordes. Fire Demons are especcially dangerous as they can lob fireballs or summon a horde of flaming spirits to their side while melting practically anything that tries to harm them unless they just put out their inner fire by expending it on something else.

These are of course directed by the Summoners and Occult Generals, who keep all these creatures in the fight and going and are capable of continuosly spawning entire new hordes from seemingly nowhere, pulling them from the rotten depths of the Hellmouth.

Then there's the human forces. A mixed bunch of roughly 50.000 fanatical veterans, equipped with the best weapons of the Reich that could be scavenged and driving Zombie apocalypse versions of old german vehicles. Heavily modified tanks, APCs, IFVs and the like are what they ride on into battle and support the zombie horde with, creating breaches and dealing with armoured threats...if that wasn't already dealt with by the suiciders. Of these vehicles, the humans posses roughly 1622, those being:

History : Plan Z was the Führer's and his goons' occult last ditch attempt at winning World War 2...yet it had been prepared far in advance. The Schäfer Expedition to Tibet in 1938/39 recovered valuable occult knowledge and throughout World War 2 a small paranormal division within the SS kept working steadily on a plan they hoped would never actually be put to use.

Untill 1945, when the Allies were fighting for Berlin and the Führer was left fuming in his bunker. Mentally unstable and high on drugs, he decided that his Reich would never fall, that Germany could never fall, that the Fatherland would NEVER fall. He ordered the execution of Plan Z and the men still under his command and still following this madman's orders despite knowing that everything was over, complied. Plan Z was executed. And all hell broke loose.

The dead rose all over Germany, Nazi Zombies soon starting to swarm friend and foe alike, anything that was alive. Civilian populations were butchered, Allied military formations cut off as their logistic lines were overrun by the undead rising in their backs and pockets of resistance formed, trying their best to stem the undead tide pressing against them from all sides. Among these pockets was the Führerbunker for the Führer, irrational and impulsive as he was, had forgotten to assemble the Sagarmartha relic, which was supposed to protect the Führerbunker from the rage of the undead. The bunker was eventually breached and all within it slain, only to rise once more as part of the undead tide washing across central europe...yet one moustachioed zombie was destined to become more than a moaning, grumbling, shambling corpse.

The Führerzombie came upon the Book of Souls, left behind in front of the Berlin Library by a team of survivors trying to escape the wicked city. The Book, which was one of the chief components responsible for this entire mess in the first place, allowed the Führer to regain his individuality within the Horde and much more. He became its leader, the zombie hordes across the entire country listening to his every command. Able to finally look at himself and see and understand the state he was in, the Führer realized that all their struggles and ideologies had been petty and meaningless and that there was but one superior race and but one superior nation that should inherit this earth. Undeath was superior to life and only when all were united in Undeath could there be world peace and prosperity. Only when everyone was his puppet, would they stop fighting each other.

The Führer started to marshal and organize the Horde, moving them strategically to eliminate pockets, making use of remaining living loyalists to create an industry of the dead and damned, churning out weapons and armour for his horde. He made use of traitors and demons to assault the living from within and without and reassembled everything he could find of his old paranormal divsion. For the Führer had set his sights even higher. He didn't want to be merely some undead ruler. He wanted to ascend to a state of near godhood and he knew his researchers had worked on that before he executed Plan Z. Undead expeditions soon set out, making the land unsafe but recovering important artifacts and corpses of the most evil people of history. Once the Führer would have all the bodies he needed, he would be able to open the Hellmouth and outfit himself with awesome powers and practical immortality.

Things had run smoothly, the Führer having recovered all corpses but one...the body of the Impaler yet he alrleady had his unliving horde there, forcing the locals to work and work untill the grave was unearthed...yet just as they were about to finally claim the last body...the body vanished. In fact, the entire world vanished around the new Reich the Führer had created...and now they found themselves again in an area they were unfamiliar with...it certainly wasn't Europe, it was far too cold for that. But it was just a temporary setback for the Führer. He would still unite the world in death and he would claim his godhood.

Major Industries / Economic sectors: The Iron Legion is nothing else but a war machine. All goods required for the war are being produced, but among them the top two goods are Nerocite and Ferro-steel.

Amount of Industrialization : The territory around the Iron tower is heavily industrilized. The exact amount of Industrialization is unknown. The Iron Legion had the economy to take on the whole world of Battalion Wars and stomp even technologically far more advanced factions into the ground by sheer numbers and ferocity. It goes without saying that they have the strongest economy in their world, but its hard to exactly point out their industrial capability. It would be easy to imagine their economy just as truly massive, but thats understandable. I mean they are the typical evil empire in the prologe which nearly achieved world domination, but a small super weapon brought them down (sounds familiar?). To give you a comparison its like Mordor in LOTR (completly unbalanced). A comparision with a real life country is not possible, but that doesnt really mean much in this fucked up world.


Economic Description : The Iron Legion which Lord Ferrok founded is a society based around war. In the time Lord Ferrok was in power he built roads, mines, factorys and defences. He did everything to prepare the Legion for the world war. He industrialised the land so ruthlessly that it became completly toxic. In short he industriliased the heck out of Xylvania. Making it the greatest industrial power of its time. While others like the Solar Empire had futuristic technologys in their industry, the Iron Legion still outproduced them. The whole economy focuses on war (honestly what do you expect its an evil empire in a Nintendo ga,e). There is some farming, but it never got shown so the exact process is unknown. What is shown are the Nerocite mines. These for the war effort vital mines power the whole Legion.
The second most important aspect would be the steel mills. The Legion needs steel for most things in their war. From machines to guns to bridges to rails and trains. The Legion should still be able to mass produce most of their military equipment, even after being teleported.

Technological Level : Their technology is...odd to say the least. They got MANPADS next to heavy machineguns which are based on precise clockwork mechanisms, heavy tanks with, as you have noticed, fuel sinks at their front next to gunships and jet aircraft. Their whole technology is based on their mastery of Nerocite. There isnt much more know about their technology, but it's known that Lord Ferrok was a genious and is the only person standing behind the technologys of the Iron Legion. It's actually quite funny that the Empress of the Solar Empire (futuristic buffed Japan) acknowledges how far ahead the Iron Legion is.

Magic and other shenanigans? (If any exists) : Magic in the Universe of Battalion Wars is confirmed but the Iron Legion has no access to it.

Military Description The Iron Legion is the strongest army of its time. In only a few years they nearly conquered all of the world. Thanks to their powerful equipment, they dominate the battlefield. Their leader Lord Ferrok is a briliant strategist and he is the supreme commander of the army. While most Xylvanians are relatively stupid, some of them are intellegent enough to be granted the rank of a commander. Those commanders control forces given to them by Lord Ferrok and follow his orders. Should they encounter resistance, they can change the plan for the attack.

Army: There were millions of soldiers of the Iron Legion fighting at the Tundran frontlines, in the Solar Empire or at the Western Frontier, but because the Legion got teleported they only have a few million soldiers left. Their army is around 2.800.000 men strong. They fought something equivalent to the Blitzkrieg in their world.
The army is pretty mobile for their standard. Overall the Iron Legion uses more brute force then tactics. While Lord Ferrok is a briliant tactician and strategist, not all his subordinates can live up to that. In fact you might be able to call most of them dumb incompetent idiots.

While there are many vehicles and Lord Ferrok can always create a new type, here are the ones the landforces use in the missions.

Navy: The Iron Legions Navy crushed Anglo Isles and the Solar Empire. It's undefeated (and the actual ships are a joke). The Navy consists out of steam powered ships. Their Nerocite weaponry gives them a huge advantage over their enemies (and a huge disadvantage). The Ferro-steel plates on these ships let them withstand the heavy plasma canons of the Solar Empire and their AA does its best to shoot down planes.

Air Force:
The Iron Legions air force was the biggest back in their own world. Enemies reported that the sky itself darkened when the bomber formations appeared over cities.
In the initial attack against the Solar Empire the Iron Legion used 10.000 bombers and thousands upon thousands of fighters in their vanguard. Their engines and the weapons are powered with nerocite. So don't underestimate them. They fought the modern fighter yets of the Solar Empire (let's not look at the fact that the Solar Empire didnt change or advance in the next 200 years).

1. Find out what the fuck happend with the Iron Legion.
2. Gather intel on the surroundings and maybe seek allies.

History : (At least 1 solid paragraph)
The origins of the Xylvanians is unknown. They were fighting amongst each other and didnt leave the area. Due to this the world largely ignored them. But at some a warlord was rising and united all the groups of Xylvanians. Ferrok started to build up his Legion and expanded his territory. The Legion silently grew stronger. Roads and cities were build. Mines were opend and the production of steel started. By now Lord Ferrok started the Industrialization of Exilvania.
Over the next decades the Legion had become one of the most powerful states in the world. But Lord Ferrok wanted more. He started the construction of the Iron Tower. A symbol of the Iron Legion's power. Having done so Lord Ferrok looked beyond the border of the Iron Legion and wanted more.

At the beginning the progress was slow, but the after years of research Ferrok had found a way to utilize the toxic Nerocite crystals. With the Nerocite the Legion started powering their machines and weapons. The lust for power brought the Legion to mine the crystals without any precautions. The heavy use of the Nerocite and the heavy Industrialization filled the air with pollution, making the air toxic to most living beings, but not the Iron Legion. Seeing the riches of other countries the Iron Legion started to arm themselves. Lord Ferrok personally invented the Iron Legion's war machines. The Legion spent decades with building up their military industry and stocking up weapons.

Then the time had come, the Legion was the single most powerful state in the world. It came as a shock to the world that the backward wastelands which were previously Xylvania started an attack on the world. Tens of thousands of bombers rained death upon their enemies and tens of thousands of heavy tanks with thousands of artillery pieces and millions of soldiers attacked the world. At fist the Legion was advancing fast, but soon their progress slowed down, because all nations in the world fought together against the Iron Legion. But it did not matter, the Iron Legion advanced slowly but efficently. The Anglo Isles were crushed. The Tundrans had to flee to their own country and the Western Frontier had lost many brave soldiers. The Iron Legion's navy attacked the Western Frontier and Tundra and sunk their fleets. After that Iron Legion troops landed.

At the time the Iron Legion held nearly the entire world in its grip. Then the invasion of the Solar Empire started, while ten thousand of bombers destroyed their cities. But the Empress of the Solar Empire didnt defend their Islands. Instead she started a counterattack.
This marked the beginning of the Lightning War. The Solar Empire forces broke through several defences and captured the primary Nerocite mines, but their supply line was cut and further landings were stopped. Thus the war seemed to end.
The empress of the Solare Empire started an all out attack on the Iron tower. There Lord Ferrok had gathered a significant force to start the last assault and end this war.
But the empress didn't set her hopes on her conventinal troops. A small elite force was dispatched to infiltrate the Iron tower. They failed.
But one survivor of the Solar Empire managed to get hold of the secret staff they were carrying and brought it to the top of the Iron Tower. There the staff activated an ancient satellite which would destroy Lord Ferrok, his tower and his huge army. The staff was activated and a light began to glow in the sky, but then something happened......

Since then, she has sat on the throne of Vaju Hegu. Through unknown means, she is essentially unkillable (as one infamous recording of a high-powered rifle shot bouncing off of her face during a speech shows) and does not age. She has declined to be studied, and several theories have been floated in regards to the origins of both her and her abilities. No other Sentinal is capable of this. Sakarlyt’s few descendents, those who carry royal blood -distinguished by their bright red eyes- do live longer lives on average.

Sentinalia was an absolute monarchy until a near rebellion in the 18th century forced the monarchy to hand most of its power over to the Veiociela, formerly the queen’s council of advisors. Sentinalia has, throughout its long history, held extreme nationalistic pride in its status as the guardians of their holy land, the region of Saatynaala. It has fought several wars in (both actual and perceived) defense of this region, with the most recent being a repelled invasion by the eastern nation of Kucresia in the early 1980s.

For most of its history, Sentinalia was mostly isolationist and focused internally, leading to rocky international relations. In addition, non-Sentinals have long faced discrimination both legally and culturally. In recent years, as the Kucresian invasion forced Sentinalia to work closely with other nations to prevent its destruction, Sentinalia has seen a large influx of external cultural influence, an increase in international tolerance, and an absolutely massive tourism boom. The Sentinalia of the modern day is far from the isolated, stand-offish star of the north that it once was, and has truly entered the international sphere as a rapidly-growing economic power.

Amount of Industrialization : The Land of Wind is barely an industrialized nation as the military consists of ninjas armed with swords, throwing knives, and the like. Gunpowder is not prominent there. Overall, the nation is (mildly) technologically backward.
Economic Description : The Land of Wind used to be a desert nation with a considerable lack of natural resources (or the ones that are not the best for them) until they had transitioned to a mysterious place. There, the island contains a variety of natural resources that is proved useful to the nation and the economy grew drastically as a result.

Magic and other shenanigans? : Yes. Every ninja (and even the Fifth Kazekage, Gaara) in the nation has the ability to manipulate sand as it is associated with the desert. Shukaku, one of the nine-tailed beasts, is sealed within Gaara's body, allowing him to possess a large surge of power.

National Goals : To create a republic-like society where people have the right to choose whomever they want to lead while expanding its territory (the African islands are their main focus). To establish diplomatic relations with foreign nations while maintaining its foreign policy to deceive aggression for their protection.


History : The Land of Wind was a desert nation as it was known for having very little rainfall over the years. They were on good terms with the Land of Fire, a country known for having more rainfall (compared to the Land of Lightning) than the Land of Wind, with a great deal of trade going on between the two countries. There was little to no conflict throughout the region.

One day, a severe storm has ravaged the nation and they are transported to a mysterious island (Madagascar). There were no deserts (some of it), no oases, and no lack of natural resources. The island is filled with exotic animals, natural resources that are useful, and beautiful shores that the people haven't seen before. With no clarification of how they were transported there in the first place, this is their new home.
