MacGregor's win in the 2019 season has made them the team to beat this year. All eyes are on Steven Grey, who is hoping to defend his championship title. However, experts say that this year could also be the year of his teammate, Conway Prescott, who delivered a stunning performance in 2019. Together, they have made MacGregor a force to be reckoned with on the track, but the orange unicorn will still have to face some stiff competition. Phaeton and Merlin will be determined to make up for their dismal performance last year, while LZS, Raamaker, and Sidus are a step closer to challenging the winners for the Constructors' Championship.

2020 is proving to be a year of new talents entering the sport. Kappaksturslid is shaking things up with newcomers Maríón Álfheiður and Ólafur Guðestersson - both recently scooped up from Formula 2 - making this season their first year that they will be competing in the top open-wheel racing class. In addition to this, Breuer has hired Maximilian Frentzen, who at 21 years old, is the youngest ever competitor in the season. Time will tell whether these drivers will be able to survive amongst their veteran peers, or possibly even go on to greatness.

The spread between the fastest and slowest qualifier has been an enormous one, with 6.702 seconds between them. Conway Prescott has achieved pole position with a 1:45.099 lap time around Sheffield. However, Phaeton's Tertius DiParadisa has to start Sunday's race from 19th place, which may pose a problem for his championship hopes. For the last few seasons he has struggled to overturn what many experts see as a decline from the highs when he would often achieve podium finishes, and Saturday's qualifying certainly proved to not be a great start.

On Lap 3 of the race, Robert van Grol, who was locked in a battle with Phillip Rollins, was taken out when the former was trying to pass on the outside. His rear left tire brushed up against Rollins' front right tire, which caused Van Grol to spin at Turn 14, sending the Raamaker flying and crashing in the middle of the track. The safety flags were brought out on Laps 4 and 5 to retrieve Van Grol and clear the debris.

By the first quarter of the race, Grey managed to pass his teammate and build a substantial lead. However, due to a sluggish pit stop in Lap 15, Prescott was able to retake the lead. From then on he managed to maintain it until the end of the race. Grey was able to hold onto 2nd for most of the race until he was forced to pit again in Lap 41, giving Merlin's Gianpiero Santoro time to catch up and pass the reigning world champion in Lap 48.

Meanwhile, Delaney's Devin Acker blew a tire in Lap 30, causing the safety flags to be brought out yet again. But perhaps the biggest disappointment goes to DiParadisa, who up to this point had made up so many places throughout the race, was taken out due to electrical issues in Lap 49. His Phaeton turned off as he was going around Turn 16, spinning him out before his car rested at the edge of Turn 17.

Prescott has clutched the first win of the 2020 Astyrian F1 season, with Santoro in 2nd place and Grey in 3rd. As of now, MacGregor gains first blood as it has achieved 40 points, putting them at the top of the standings for the Constructors' Championship.

The beginning of the 2020 Astyrian Formula One season went off with a bang as MacGregor delivered an impressive performance at the Aswickan Grand Prix. Conway Prescott won the race at Sheffield Circuit in the last week, with his teammate and defending world champion Steven Grey finishing 3rd. As of now MacGregor has gained an early advantage in the Constructors' Standings, gaining 40 points at Sheffield. However, the fight isn't over just yet, as the orange unicorn still has the rest of the season ahead of them - more than enough races for their biggest competitors to catch up.

Nowhere is this more true than in the next race of the season: the Mizia Grand Prix, held at the spectacular Bakunin Circuit. This is a favorite among both drivers and fans, as lots of exciting battles are expected to happen here, as well as overtaking opportunities and decently challenging elevation changes.

Phaeton driver Pekka Koivu has managed to achieve pole position; however, Phillip Rollins of Sevir managed to post a time of 01:36.304 - a difference of 0.006 seconds from Koivu. This may give the struggling Sevir team a shot at finishing in the top 10, or possibly even a podium finish. Just as surprising was Ólafur Guðestersson's performance in qualifying, who recorded a 01:36.380 lap time. This means the Kappaksturslid newcomer will be starting in 4th position on Sunday.

MacGregor on the other hand wasn't so lucky. While the team managed to gain front positions at Aswick, Prescott has to start from 7th place, while Grey was relegated to 20th place. The world champion will have quite a fight on his hands if he intends to make a show at Mizialand.

The Mizia Grand Prix began with moderate showers covering the track, making Sunday's race more challenging for the drivers. Yet the conditions would prove very advantageous for the Valkean drivers on the grid. Phaeton's Pekka Koivu held onto his lead for the first half of the race before Sidus's Simo Rassinen passed him on the 30th lap after a fierce battle. From then on Rassinen would continue to build his lead, finishing with a gap of nearly 87 seconds between him and Koivu. This spectacular win moved Sidus up to 3rd in the Constructors' Standings, only 5 points behind Phaeton.

Phaeton themselves also performed spectacularly at Bakunin - Tertius DiParadisa, who had some rotten luck in the previous week and also had to start from the back, managed to claw his way from 19th at the start of the race to 5th by the end of it.

On Lap 22, Nick Hardy of Delaney challenged Decius Whitewall of Angelbridge for 14th position. However, their wheels touched at Turn 14, which sent Hardy spinning twice before stopping in the runoff area. He tried starting up his car again, but it was no use, and so he was out. Track officials investigated the incident and ruled that Whitewall was not at fault for Hardy's early retirement from the race, since the latter was observed to have aggressively tried to pass on the outside. Thus, the Angelbridge driver was spared from potentially gaining a 5-second penalty.

Yet it was the underdogs that had the worst upsets. Rollins, who started out 2nd in the race, lost much of his pace from a sluggish pit stop on Lap 37. Guðestersson, who began at the front of the pack in 4th place and stayed there for much of the race, finished in 13th.

The Mizia Grand Prix proved to be disastrous for reigning world champion and MacGregor driver Steven Grey. Having to start from the back, he struggled to make up places and ended up finishing 16th, dealing a massive blow for his championship hopes. On the other hand, his teammate Conway Prescott performed beautifully at the race, finishing 3rd and building a massive lead over the competition. However, it was Sidus's Simo Rassinen who took 1st place that day, pushing Sidus up to 3rd in the Constructor's Standings.

MacGregor's lead was now starting to come under threat from Phaeton, Sidus, and Merlin, who are scrambling to close the gap. Time will tell whether they can fend off their competition at the Arika Circuit in Trellin.

Rain was pouring all over the track on Saturday, but nonetheless the drivers were able to weather the storm and post some decent lap times. Prescott once again took pole position, with Pekka Koivu in 2nd and Rassinen in 3rd. Tertius DiParadisa, who had taken 5th position at last week's race, had managed take 4th position in qualifying. Finally, Merlin's Gianpiero Santoro rounded out the top 5 that will be starting Sunday's race.

On the other hand, Steven Grey posted the 11th fastest time, a massive improvement over his dismal start at Bakunin. However, with some steep competition ahead of him, time will tell whether he can return to form and deliver the astonishing performance that earned him the Drivers' Championship last year.

Race day began with a blistering start for Prescott, who led for most of the race. However, in a change of fortune for the MacGregor driver, he ran wide coming out of Turn 6, which caused him to lose control of his car in Lap 66. He then spun out into the runoff area and hit the wall before resting in the middle of the track, which dislodged his front right tire and created significant debris. This was a devastating blow for Prescott, who had built up an early dominance this year. On the other hand, Grey finished the race in 5th.

The day belonged to Tertius DiParadisa, who after having a rough start to the 2020 season, finally achieved the win for Phaeton. Meanwhile his teammate, Pekka Koivu, who had finished 2nd in the previous race, suffered a slow pit stop on the 12th lap and a spin on the 34th. Luckily, he was able to keep going and he finished in the middle of the field. Thanks to DiParadisa's 1st place finish, Phaeton had managed to close the gap, with only five points between it and MacGregor.

The biggest welcome surprise of the race came in the form of a 4th place finish for Ivan Jovanović. His teammate, Stefan Lakowski, finished two places above him. This moved LZS up to 3rd place in the Constructors' Standings. Merlin also showed some incredible performance thanks to Gianpiero Santoro's podium finish, edging out Sidus by just one point.

The Azmir Grand Prix saw Phaeton finally return to form, as Tertius DiParadisa claims 1st place at Arika Circuit. Many were pleasantly surprised by this recent turn of events, recalling that the team struggled heavily during last year's season. However, MacGregor still remains at the top of the Constructors' Standings, although their lead has been considerably reduced over the weekend.

The next race of the season, the Astyrian Grand Prix, returns to Aswick in yet another celebration of raw power and naked speed. This time the race was held at Norris Memorial Circuit, named after five-time world champion Clayton Norris who drove for MacGregor to victory in the late 1980s and early 1990s. For the teams that struggled during the Aswickan Grand Prix over a month ago, they were now granted a second chance to make an impression. The Aswickan teams are expected to be the crowd favorites, especially MacGregor, which kicked off the season with a dominant finish by Conway Prescott.

Qualifying day was marked by light showers, but regardless the drivers gave a spectacular performance. Nicolas von Siedel of Breuer, who was world champion in 2017, clocked the fastest lap on Saturday, posting a 1:15.640 time. Gianpiero Santoro, driving for Merlin, was 2nd fastest, while Tertius DiParadisa was 3rd fastest. This placed the Phaeton driver at a massive advantage, which could mean that he could keep the momentum up and take another win for Phaeton.

The Astyrian Grand Prix began brilliantly for von Siedel; however he started losing several places due to his tires wearing out faster than usual. As such, he was forced to pit on the 13th lap, reentering the race in 6th. The race continued to go wrong for him as he dropped to 11th place halfway through, though he was able to maintain his position in the middle of the field until the finish. He ultimately finished the race in 13th.

Meanwhile, Phaeton's Pekka Koivu delivered a stunning performance for the fans, starting from 19th place and finishing in 11th. However, the glory would once again go to DiParadisa, who constantly fought hard for the lead with Prescott and Sidus driver Guy Bassett. In an era where, rightly or wrongly, F1 has been seen by many to be dull and unengaging, this battle will go down in Astyrian F1 history as one of the most thrilling battles in ages. Bassett would ultimately prevail, winning the Astyrian Grand Prix for Sidus in a brilliant drive.

Another bright spot went on in the fight for 5th place, with Steven Grey and Dominic Hudnall often trading places in a fierce duel between the two world champions. In the end, the MacGregor driver put up the better fight, finishing ahead of his Merlin counterpart.

MacGregor has still managed to hold onto its lead, keeping a decent gap between it and Phaeton. Sidus managed to retake 3rd place, once again moving LZS and Merlin down the Constructors' Standings.

Fresh off the exciting racing of this year's Astyrian Grand Prix, the next round of the 2020 season is to be held at the equally thrilling Schwarzenberg Circuit - another favorite among many fans. Guy Bassett, who emerged as the winner in the last race for the Sidus F1 team, will have to perform just as well if he wants to show that his win at Norris Memorial Circuit wasn't just a fluke.

The crowd favorite at Schwarzenberg is on Noordenstaat-born Bram Dichter, who became world champion in the 2016 season driving for Raamaker, and his teammate Robert van Grol. Yet all eyes remain on the MacGregor driver, Conway Prescott, whom many speculate could outshine his teammate, defending champion Steven Grey, and claim this year's driver's championship. However, Noordenstaat may still be where Grey can still show the brilliance that he displayed last year.

Meanwhile, Phaeton is finally getting back into form with the spectacular drives of Tertius DiParadisa and Pekka Koivu. Time will tell whether the Confederate team will be able to outpace MacGregor for the constructor's championship.

Koivu set the fastest qualifier at Schwarzenberg on Saturday, with a 1:22.034 lap. Prescott and Bassett aren't far behind, both just finishing 1/10th of a second slower. LZS's Stefan Lakowski placed 4th, putting the Nikolian team in a good position to hopefully make up places and possibly win. Dichter also had a good performance, as he will be starting in 5th position.

The Noordenstaat Grand Prix started off poorly for Pekka Koivu, who was forced to pit in the 14th lap due to faster tire wear than usual. Dropping from pole position to 8th place, he fought long and hard to move up the leaderboard, eventually finishing the race in 2nd. Bassett's performance was also hampered, though with two pit stops that placed him in 8th by the end of the race.

Meanwhile, Robert van Grol had managed to claw his way up from 16th position at the start of the race to 3rd by the 1st quarter. He would go on to claim the lead halfway through the race, but dropped places due to a tire change on the 44th lap. He finished in 4th place, yet he was greeted to the cheers of the crowd as he and Dichter gave a brilliant performance for Raamaker.

On Lap 38, Ivan Jovanović spun out as he went around Turn 13 when his engine suddenly cut out. He was unable to restart it, forcing him to retire from the race early.

Yet that Sunday belonged to defending world champion Steven Grey. He retook first place from Van Grol upon the latter making his second pit stop. The MacGregor driver would hold the lead until the end of the race, finally clutching his first win of the season. This puts him in 3rd place, just below his teammate Prescott and Phaeton's DiParadisa. Also joining him at the podium are both Phaeton drivers, who finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively. MacGregor and Phaeton remain in the contention for the constructor's championship, leaving the rest of the pack behind in points.

After having a rather rough start to the 2020 season, MacGregor driver Steven Grey finally achieved his first win at last week's Noordenstaat Grand Prix at Schwarzenberg Circuit. Phaeton was just on his tail, with Pekka Koivu and Tertius DiParadisa taking 2nd and 3rd place respectively. This season was starting to be a proper duel between the two F1 teams as both head into the next race of the season at Moravia Circuit.

The pressure is on for the Nikolians Stefan Lakowski and Ivan Jovanović, both of them driving for LZS. A win here would be quite a momentous event for the spectators. They'll be hoping to put on a good show of driving prowess and not have their fellow Nikolians leave Moravia disappointed.

Pole position went to Guy Bassett driving for Sidus, finishing his fastest lap in 1:15.877. Following him was Merlin driver Dominic Hudnall, who was close behind. Ivan Jovanović of LZS would follow in 3rd position, while Steven Grey and newcomer Maximilian Frentzen finished in 4th and 5th, respectively. As for Tertius DiParadisa, who finished 3rd in Noordenstaat, his qualifier proved to be dismal, and so must start Sunday's race in 18th position.

Much of the Nikolian Grand Prix was dominated by the fight for 1st place between Bassett and Jovanović, who constantly swapped places throughout the race. In addition, Merlin's Gianpiero Santoro would sometimes join in and turn the fight into a three-way duel. However, Stefan Lakowski made it to 4th position halfway through the race and passed Santoro on the 50th lap. He would steadily catch up to Bassett through the remainder of the race, eventually finishing 2nd.

While Hudnall fell off due to a driver error on the 5th lap, he was able to fend off Frentzen and Koivu, who were both attempting to challenge him. He would eventually finish just short of the podium in 4th place.

Disaster struck for Devin Acker due to his car understeering at the turn 12. His Delaney went off into the gravel before crashing violently into the tire barrier. This meant that the safety flags were brought out for Lap 10 and a safety car deployed to retrieve Acker from the wreckage and tow the damaged car away. Thankfully he was unhurt.

The drive that many fans certainly enjoyed was that of DiParadisa. The famed Phaeton driver made up several places during the race, passing car after car until he finished in 5th. This gave him enough points to take the lead from Conway Prescott, edging the MacGregor driver by 3 points. Once again we are reminded of his undeniable talents as a racing driver. His teammate wasn't so lucky - Koivu had taken 6th place halfway through the race, but was forced to drop to 11th due to a puncture in his left rear tire which forced him to pit.

Yet the adulation of the crowd that day belonged to the Nikolian duo of Ivan Jovanović and Stefan Lakowski, who took a 1-2 finish for LZS. Thousands of spectators rushed the pits as the drivers pulled in to celebrate the victory. It was truly a historic day for Nikolia and for Formula 1 in Astyria.

The Nikolian Grand Prix was a great day for the Nikolian crowds and for the LZS team as drivers Ivan Jovanović and Stefan Lakowski came to the checkered flag in a spectacular 1-2 finish. The next race of the season, to be held at Kennedy Circuit in Khyragus, will have that same anticipation from fans. This time the pressure is on Sevir's F1 team and their drivers, Matthew Martins and Phillip Rollins. If a win could be achieved here, Sevir would be able to get some much needed points to stay in the running for the constructors' championship.

Yet the competition remains ready and waiting. MacGregor and Phaeton remain in a fierce battle for the championship, and Tertius DiParadisa has surpassed Conway Prescott by 3 points. Reigning world champion Steven Grey currently is behind his teammate by 5 points, followed by Lakowski and Guy Bassett, with 56 and 52 points, respectively.

Prescott was able to dish out a 1:25.183 lap to achieve pole position for Sunday's race, with Simo Rassinen right behind him. His fellow Sidus driver, Bassett, would take 3rd place on the grid, followed by Gianpiero Santoro and Matthew Martins. With Martins in 5th position, we may see a glimmer for Sevir's hopes of winning the race.

However, the opposite came true for Prescott's teammate and reigning world champion Steven Grey, who posted the slowest qualifier that day, lapping Kennedy circuit in 1:28.945. This means that MacGregor will be starting Sunday's race both on pole and in the rear.

The race began with Prescott leading off the line in the 1st lap. But in an unexpected move, Martins passed the MacGregor driver in Sector 2. The Sevir driver was able to hold that position until in Lap 26, when a pit stop allowed for Prescott to retake the lead. From there Martins had to fend off Rassinen and Bassett through the rest of the race, finally finishing in 4th. Rollins was also looking to join his teammate, climbing up to 5th in the 3rd quarter of the race. Yet he was also hampered by a pit stop that forced him to drop to 9th.

Meanwhile, no significant challenge was presented to Prescott, who comfortably held a massive lead over the competition. He finished the race a full lap ahead of Rassinen, which will go into the history books as one of the most dominant leads of any driver in recent memory. With it, Prescott was able to retake the lead from DiParadisa in the drivers' championship. This win also gave MacGregor a comfortable lead with 153 points, while Rassinen's 2nd place pushed Sidus up to tie with Phaeton.

Grey on the other hand was able to overcome his disadvantageous starting position and claw his way up the pack. He was able to reach 11th place by Lap 34, but due to some bad luck on his part, he finished the race in 13th. Despite this, he has expressed his congratulations to his teammate.

Things had gone wrong on Sunday for Delaney driver Nick Hardy, who constantly shuffled places in the midfield before he was taken out of the race due to an engine problem on Lap 72.

Whether you love it or hate it, the Khyragusian Grand Prix has become one of the most polarizing grands prix in recent Formula One history. It was certainly a decent win for the Sevir F1 team, with Matthew Martins coming home to cheering crowds in 4th place - the highest that Sevir has ever gotten throughout the season. On the other hand, many fans complained about Conway Prescott's dominant victory; the MacGregor driver finished ahead of the next driver, Simo Rassinen, by a whole lap.

Would the Kelonnan Grand Prix be able to lift their spirits and bring back the excitement that was lost in the last race? It certainly looks like it - this would be the first race of the season to take place on the public roads, specifically in the Beobecce district of Halynby. While runoff areas and overtaking opportunities are noted to be scarce, it is not impossible to get past other drivers, thanks to DRS systems that have been fitted in F1 cars for the past eight years.

The drivers were immediately in top form for Saturday's qualifying. Guy Bassett took pole position with a 1:25.432 lap time, while Pekka Koivu came close behind in 2nd. Bassett's teammate, Simo Rassinen, clocked the 3rd fastest lap, followed by Decius Whitewall and Stefan Lakowski. The potential for another great battle for first place looked promising.

However, what was less so were MacGregor's qualifying lap times. Steven Grey and Conway Prescott had to start from 11th and 13th place, respectively, giving the two quite a challenge if they want to get to the front of the pack and win.

Bassett had a terrible start at the beginning of the race due to Whitewall, Koivu, and Rassinen crowding him out on the entry to the 1st chicane. Bram Dichter later on passed him on Lap 14 of the race upon exiting Turn 11. He would continue to chase Dichter for the remainder of the race, crossing the finish line in 6th place. His teammate on the other hand was able to pass Whitewall and Koivu, staying there and maintaining his lead until the end.

Yet the most brilliant drive at Kelonna belonged to Raamaker driver Robert van Grol, who quickly passed the midfield in the 1st quarter and remained in 7th for much of the race. A fortuitous pit stop by Koivu on Lap 42 and later by Whitewall on Lap 52 gave Van Grol the opportunity to land a 2nd place finish. Dichter also drove well for Raamaker, finishing in 5th.

Nicolas von Siedel of Breuer suffered a horrendous crash on Lap 23 after his car spun at Turn 11, sending him into the right side wall and creating lots of debris. The safety car was brought out for Laps 24 and 25 as race officials cleared the wreckage.

In the end, Rassinen took the checkered flag and pushed Sidus up to 2nd place in the constructors' championship, now within 5 points of passing MacGregor. Phaeton, who had held that spot comfortably up to this point, was relegated to 3rd place.

Sidus has been on a roll in the most recent rounds of the Astyrian F1 2020 season. With several podium finishes, as well as back-to-back wins in the last two rounds, they are steadily closing the gap between them and MacGregor. Excitement has been buildign for Sidus fans, who might be looking at a potential win for this year.

What may perhaps be less exciting is the venue for the next race: Hammock Beach Circuitway in the magnificent city of Kirkland. The track is best known for being built on reclaimed land and for having a spectacular hotel where the track goes underneath it. While it is certainly a testament to ViZionarian prosperity, many fans dread it for its numerous 90-degree turns, absolutely no change in elevation, and very few overtaking opportunities. Recently the track has been reworked slightly to allow for more overtakes, but time will tell whether these changes have worked.

Nicolas von Siedel, who had suffered a horrendous crash at Kelonna, redeemed himself by taking pole position with a 1:38.331 lap time. Phaeton driver Tertius DiParadisa was only 3/1000ths of a second slower, one of the smallest ever gaps in the season so far, while Maximilian Frentzen finished with an impressive 3rd. Simo Rassinen, who won the Kelonna Grand Prix, finished in 4th while Matthew Martins clocked the 5th fastest time. MacGregor and Raamaker had some poor qualifying lap times - unusual since both teams have been performing decently throughout the season so far.

Unlike in past races, the ViZion Grand Prix took place at night, which allowed for the venue to show off its impressive lighting. Rassinen quickly took the lead in the scramble and held the lead for half of the race, but a pit stop cost him the lead as Phaeton's DiParadisa and both LZS drivers overtook him around that same time. Ivan Jovanović would have that same problem during his own pit stop as his teammate, Stefan Lakowski, swept past to take the lead.

Except for a brief pit stop on Lap 21, DiParadisa was able to hold onto 2nd for much of the race. His teammate on the other hand was struggling until he was able to climb several places due to a mass pit stop on Lap 35 as the other drivers changed tries for the final time. The Valkean would eventually finish 7th, gaining more points for Phaeton.

Perhaps the team that had it the worst was Breuer, who despite starting at the front, steadily began to lose places as other drivers would pass them one by one. Both drivers finished in the middle of the field, with Frentzen finishing in 11th and Von Siedel finishing in 13th. Martins also fell quickly, ending up in 16th place ahead of his teammate, Phillip Rollins.

The championship for drivers and for constructors was now starting to enter its most competitive phase yet. Prescott leads the charge with 100 points to his name, but Rassinen and DiParadisa have closed the gap behind him; the three drivers having 3 points between each other. Lakowski's win also meant that the LZS driver was within striking distance. A similar story can be found in the constructors' standings, with MacGregor, Sidus, Phaeton, and LZS in strong contention.

This weekend, the next race of the season takes place at the magnificent Grand Prix of Monsa. This year marks the 50th Grand Prix held here, and many champions took the checkered flag at this prestigious track. With tight streets and lots of elevation shifts, this race is a challenge to navigate and always filled with excitement, as we saw last year when the current world champ Steven Grey fought his way to victory from 11th place.

During the last race, LZS driver Stefan Lakowski took the win and managed to put himself in 4th place in the drivers' championship. Will he continue his recent success? And what about MacGregor - the Aswickan team has not had much success in the past few weeks. Will they get back into fighting shape?

Simo Rassinen of Sidus took pole position that day, clocking a lap time of 1:13.536 around the fabled circuit. Merlin drivers Gianpiero Santoro and Dominic Hudnall took the next two spots on the grid, followed by Raamaker driver Bram Dichter and Sidus driver Guy Bassett. Phaeton and MacGregor's drivers had to either start in the middle of the field or at the rear, which would possibly deal a blow to their hopes of winning at Monsa.

The Monsa Grand Prix began with a scramble for the lead that took out Sevir driver Matthew Martins. Kappaksturslid driver Maríón Álfheiður was almost collected by Martins' car, but narrowly avoided this fate. Despite this incident on the 1st lap, no safety flags were brought out. However, the flags were brought out on Lap 22 due to contact between Phillip Rollins and Decius Whitewall as they exited the tunnel section, which spread light debris all over the track. Both were forced to pit.

Rassinen managed to hold the lead for the first few laps until the Sidus driver pitted in Lap 18, which gave the opportunity for Dichter to overtake him. However, the Valkean quickly caught up with him and passed him on the 29th lap, holding his lead until the very end. Stefan Lakowski and Santoro would late challenge him in the fight for 1st place, but neither was able to succeed. And so Rassinen took the checkered flag that day, overtaking Conway Prescott as leader in the drivers' standings. Together with Guy Bassett's 8th place finish, Sidus overtook MacGregor in the constructors' standings as well.

MacGregor also performed decently on the fabled track. Prescott had managed to push through in the scramble and gain some places. He would fight with the leaders through the rest of the race, eventually climbing up to 3rd at the finish. His teammate Steven Grey also steadily climbed the leaderboard, passing car after car until he would finish in 7th place.

Hudnall started falling behind on Lap 36 due to gearbox troubles, which handicapped him for the rest of the race and placed him in 10th. His teammate was much luckier, crossing the finishing line in a remarkable 2nd place.

We are nearing the halfway point of the 2020 Formula 1 season and already things are getting quite interesting. The battle for the drivers' and constructors' championship now lay in Sidus' favor as Simo Rassinen crossed the finish line to win the prestigious Monsa Grand Prix. MacGregor will now have to work harder than they have before if they want to retake their lead. The question is now looming in everyone's minds: will the orange unicorn be able to do just that at the next race of the season?

This dilemma will be settled at the Caprican Grand Prix, a race that is just as prestigious as Monsa. With the largest seating capacity of any track in the entire season, many stock car races were held on its 4.023 km oval track at speeds over 300 kph without letting off the throttle. The race uses the combined road course layout as that used in Caprica's national formula racing series, though with minor alterations. Lots of overtaking opportunities abound, particularly on the long straight on the big oval. The track does have its tricks, however. Will unadulterated speed win the day, or will it be precise handling?

Dominic Hudnall of Merlin was the fastest man on the grid that Saturday, clinching pole position with a lap time of 1:11.621. Simo Rassinen, who won the previous race at Monsa, wasn't far behind. Steven Grey clocked the 3rd fastest lap, which put him at an advantage to clinch the win on Sunday. Finally, to round out the top 5 are Stefan Lakowski of LZS and Pekka Koivu of Phaeton.

Due to some gearbox troubles in qualifying, Tertius DiParadisa only managed to get the 19th slot, meaning he will have to put up a heroic drive for Sunday's race.

The Caprican Grand Prix began when Lakowski overtook Hudnall and Rassinen at the start, leading well into the 1st quarter. But then, Grey got up to 2nd place and challenged the Nikolian in a fierce battle. Eventually the MacGregor driver would pass Lakowski upon entering the oval section, getting a handsome lead into the 3rd quarter. However, on Lap 65 he locked up entering into Turn 10, allowing for Koivu to catch up and pass him on the following lap. To add insult to injury, Lakowski would later pass him on the 71st lap.

Meanwhile the newcomer, Maximilian Frentzen of Breuer, was able to hold his own amidst a veteran field. What was particularly of note was his battle with Conway Prescott halfway through the race, where he defended his position from the MacGregor driver in a landmark moment for the rookie.

Due to a sluggish pit stop on Lap 15, Raamaker driver Bram Dichter lost several places and struggled to reclaim his 11th position as the midfield grew fierce. Further troubles with tire grip and a near miss with his teammate, Robert van Grol, meant that he would eventually cross the finish line in 16th.

Pekka Koivu took the checkered flag, with Lakowski coming in 2nd and Grey in 3rd. Despite this, the pressure on Phaeton is still on as LZS is hot on its tail. Meanwhile, Sidus still retains its lead over the competition, but MacGregor is closing in on them in points.

Last week's race in Dallas was a momentous occasion, marking Pekka Koivu's first win of the season. This marks yet another win for Phaeton in what may be their best season in years. Can Phaeton keep its winning streak up to win the constructors' championship? As the teams enter the halfway point of the season at the San Joaquin Valley Grand Prix, we will soon find out.

The next race of the season takes place in the modern Autódromo de Républica, a challenging yet fun track nestled in the gentle slopes of Fresno. This is certainly going to be an exciting race, with many opportunities for drivers to duel as they navigate through the winding landscape and blitz through the long and wide straights.

Robert van Grol of Raamaker was on a flyer on Saturday, achieving pole position with a 1:35.244 lap time. Gianpiero Santoro took the 2nd slot, being only under 1/10th of a second slower. Last race's champion, Pekka Koivu, will be starting the race in 3rd, while current drivers' championship leader Simo Rassinen will start in 4th. Sevir driver Phillip Rollins finally rounds out the top 5 slots with a lap time of 1:35.330.

Once again, Tertius DiParadisa struggled to post a fast lap time, only posting a 1:37.765 on his qualifier. This meant he would start in 19th place. This is the 2nd time that he would start towards the back of the field.

The weather at Fresno was warmer than usual, but that hasn't stopped fans from arriving at the Republic Autodrome to watch their favorite drivers en masse. The race began with Van Grol having a poor start, allowing for Rassinen, Koivu, and Grey to pass him as they entered the first corner. However, he quickly regained his form, passing Grey again and challenging Santoro for 2nd. But then Ivan Jovanović passed both Van Grol and Grey on Lap 7, taking 3rd position.

Rassinen comfortably held the lead for much of the race, with his widest being at the turn of the 1st quarter, where he was 34 seconds ahead of Santoro. But then the gap began to close as Grey climbed up to 2nd on Lap 23 and steadily shaved off seconds. That was until the MacGregor driver's tires wore down so much that it necessitated a pit stop on Lap 46, allowing Santoro to pass him.

Meanwhile, Rollins had been relegated to the midfield due to a sluggish pit stop on Lap 24. But because of his fresher tires, he was able to put the hammer down and fight his way to 8th place.

The virtual safety car was brought out after Conway Prescott made contact with Dominic Hudnall as they went down the 1 km straight between Turn 11 and Turn 12 on Lap 48. Hudnall was bounced off the track, which clipped part of his front wing and spread moderate amounts of debris on the track. Upon investigation, the AMF applied a 10 second penalty to Prescott for having caused the crash when his car was judged to have veered into Hudnall's, where his front right tire caught the latter's rear left tire, causing the Merlin to bounce.

The San Joaquin Valley Grand Prix belonged to Sidus, with Rassinen taking the win. Santoro crossed the line in 2nd while Grey rounded out the podium in 3rd.

We head into the Hindia Belandan Grand Prix with Simo Rassinen's victory at the Autodrome still fresh in everyone's minds. The Valkean driver has now put on a proper show, and is clearly leading the pack in the drivers' standings. Will another victory here widen his lead or allow for his fellow drivers to catch up? There are certainly lots of opportunities for that at its stunning venue: the Tanjong Pagar Circuit.

One of the first racetracks constructed for the modern era, this features opulent Hindia Belandan architecture and incredibly wide pieces of tarmac - the narrowest bits of which are wider than most other circuits in the F1 calendar. This means there are lots of opportunities for drivers to overtake their fellow competitors and for intense duels to take place. However, there is also the chance that the monsoon rains will drench the circuit and give drivers something to worry about, but also something more challenging that could excite hardcore fans.

The fastest in qualifying this week was the reigning world champion, Steven Grey, qualifying not even a hundredth of a second ahead of Kappaksturslid’s Maríón Álfheiður. It's certainly notable that he was able to qualify for P2, although the rookie driver will have a long fight ahead of him to keep his position.

The second row on the grid will be formed by the Noordenstater Robert van Grol, driving for Raamaker, and the Confederate Tertius DiParadisa who is currently fifth in the driver standings. MacGregor’s Conway Prescott will start from a tenth position, while Simo Rassinen, the driver currently leading in the standings, is starting from the 7th row, in P13.

It is summer in Hindia Belanda, which means that heat is a real problem for everyone here. Although not the warmest race of the year, the Hindia Belandan Grand Prix never fails to make an impression due to the extreme humidity. That said though, the skies are clear today, and there are no predictions of rain.

At five minutes past three in the afternoon, local time, the lights turned off and the race was underway. Grey had a good start, but there was an even better one from Pekka Koivu, who jumped from P6 to P2 in the second corner. Today was not Angelbridge’s day, however - on the 12th lap, Decius Whitewall was forced to retire due to mechanical trouble.

An incident in lap 19 caused by Nick Hardy and Maximilian Frentzen making contact resulted in a virtual safety car, and the two of them were rendered essentially out of the race. Credit where it is due, however, for they were both able to nurse their cars back to the pits where their front wings and tires were replaced. Though both of their cars were damaged, they decided to drive through the remainder of the race.

The Nikolian Lakowski managed to briefly take the lead from Steven Grey when the latter went to change his tyres, but this did not last, and the Aswickan finished in first place. The podium was rounded out by the Merlin driver Gianpiero Santoro. With Grey winning and Prescott finishing within the top 10 (if barely), MacGregor seems to be climbing back to first place in the constructors' championship, now only 3 points behind Sidus.

With Rassinen still in first, and Lakowski still in second, the two MacGregor drivers are placed 3rd and 4th in the drivers' standings.

Dear Formula One fans,

With a heavy heart, we must unfortunately announce the cancellation of the 2020 Sloverti Grand Prix.

We apologise to those fans affected by this. This decision was made by the Astyrian Formula One Association and the Astyrian Motorsport Federation due to the rapidly changing and evolving circumstances currently taking place in Slovertia.

Although this sport has always tried its hardest to remain absolutely nonpolitical, and to focus purely on the great sport that we all love, we simply are not able to idly stand by now. The risks to our teams, our staff, and most importantly our fans is simply too great. We will be doing our best to look for an alternate venue to add to our F1 season calendar.

As always, we are grateful for your support and understanding.

Most sincerely,

Richard Sutton

Hello and welcome to another exciting race weekend. This week we are in Scottopia City for the Scottopian Grand Prix. A tight and narrow street circuit, Regency Bay Marina Park is known for its peculiar tradition: Since its inception, there has always been at least one safety car deployed in every race since its inception. Will 2020 finally be the year where this streak gets broken?

Last race resulted in Steven Grey getting back on his game and allowing MacGregor to close the distance to the leader. The MacGregor drivers are now in third and fourth, behind LZS’ Stefan Lakowski, and Sidus’ Simo Rassinen. It’s certainly a closely fought championship this year. If you, like us, are interested in seeing how this unfolds, join us for the race this sunday.

Qualifying here at the Regency Bay Marina Park in the cool night was exciting as the track is tight - very, that is. Bram Dichter takes pole position with a 1:41.307, followed by Frentzen and Prescott. Rounding off the second row is the Nikolian driver Stefan Lakowski.

It was another disappointing qualifying round for Steven Grey, who will be starting from the fifth row in tenth place. The current leader in the rankings, Rassinen, will be starting in P5, leading the third row.

Thousands of fans arrived to see the Scottopian Grand Prix take place behind the backdrop of a glistening Scottopia City skyline. The night racing started with Dichter quickly losing the lead to Lakowski in what can only be described as a maneuver that will go down in the annals of history. Within a few minutes, Steven Grey managed to shoot himself into 3rd, while Prescott fell behind to 8th.

At around the halfway point, Santoro managed to take the lead, and Grey had moved into 2nd place while Prescott was in 4th with Rassinen in 3rd. Devin Acker and Nicolas von Siedel briefly touched, but there was no damage to either of the cars and as such there was only a yellow flag for the 3rd sector.

With 15 laps to go, Rassinen had gotten himself in the lead followed by Prescott and Dichter after a slow pit stop from Grey a few laps earlier. At the back of the pack, Hardy blew a tire but was unable to nurse his car back to the pits. He decided to park his car in one of the runoff areas, thus retiring in lap 50.

At last the checkered flag was brought out when Prescott crossed the line in the lead, followed 12 seconds later by his teammate Steven Grey, marking a spectacular 1-2 finish from the MacGregor team. Merlin’s Santoro finished the race just within the podium.

Yet their win at Regency Bay hasn't shifted their fortunes much in the drivers' championship - Simo Rassinen still leads with 176 points, which is a comfortable 32 points ahead of Stefan Lakowski. The Nikolian must surely be feeling the heat now, however, because only 3 points separate him and Prescott, and there are only 5 between him and the reigning champion Steven Grey.

On the other hand, MacGregor now has a commanding 29-point lead over Sidus in the constructors' standings. It looks like the orange unicorn has now returned to the form they were most known for in last year's season. If they can keep up this pace, they have a good chance of retaining the constructors' championship.

Welcome back to another Formula One race weekend! During the last race we saw MacGregor finish in a spectacular 1-2 and climb to 1st place in the Constructors' Championship. Will they repeat this, or will it be another team that takes the points?

Join us at the Nynorsk Grand Prix if you want to find out. This 5.1 kilometer long track just outside of Magnusson has fifteen corners, some of which are taken at full speed. Of course, the circuit isn’t without its dangers. In previous configurations, it has been described as “the green hell” due to its location in a forest nestled in the mountains. Still, the old configuration is where the best of the best road cars go to set new lap records and gain bragging rights.

The Qualifying session this week brought a mix of emotions. The Aswickan Devin Acker must be crying tears of joy over his first - and very surprising - pole position, having posted a 1:33.041 lap time. He was closely followed by MacGregor’s Steven Grey, Merlin’s Gianpiero Santoro, and Phaeton’s Pekka Koivu. 8 thousandths of a second separated P1 from P4.

Conway Prescott qualified in P7, while it was a thoroughly average session for the two Siduses who qualified in the middle of the field, with Simo Rassinen and Guy Bassett taking P9 and P10, respectively.

However, the team that got the biggest disappointment on Saturday was the LZS team. Stefan Lakowski, who is second in the Drivers' Standings, only managed to qualify in P19 while his teammate Ivan Jovanović will start on the last row in P21.

It is lights out, and away we go! Breuer’s Nicolas von Siedel quickly moves up from his 5th place and takes an early lead. Ólafur Guðestersson, whose home is right around the corner from the circuit, also gets away well, quickly obtaining 3rd position. Lakoski also had an amazing start, jumping from 19th to 11th place quite early on. It's a disaster for his teammate though, who spins off and crashes into a barrier on lap 3, causing the safety car to be deployed for three laps.

By lap 30, the halfway mark, Guðestersson is in the lead, with Pekka Koivu just under two seconds behind him. Lakowski has continued cutting through the field like a hot knife through butter, and found himself in a slightly uncomfortable 3rd place, with the Sidus of Simo Rassinen within DRS range. Meanwhile Steven Grey and Conway Prescott have joined up and are in 7th and 8th, respectively.

The younger of the two MacGregor drivers managed to climb back up, however, and finished in 3rd place. Rassinen takes 2nd, and the win goes to Lakowski, who was also named driver of the day. Maríón Álfheiður, who is also on a home race, must be feeling pleased with his first finish in the points in an impressive P5. Despite starting on pole, Delaney’s Devin Acker quickly fell to the back of the pack, finishing in P19.

Simo Rassinen still leads the Drivers' Championship, with Stefan Lakowski crawling ever closer. The MacGregor drivers still firmly hold 3rd and 4th place; yet MacGregor still leads the Constructor’s Championship, with Sidus and LZS behind them. With six more races to go this year, every race from now on is going to matter for the leaders.

Dear Formula One fans,

It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce our new venue to replace the cancelled Sloverti Grand Prix. To mark the 60th Anniversary of Astyrian Formula One, Round 17 of this year's season will be called the 60th Anniversary Grand Prix. This new race will be held at the Maarinnat International Circuit near the city of Maarinnat in Valkea.

This circuit, which we saw last year, and which was originally slated to be visited again in the 2021 season, is always a spectacle to behold. It combines highly technical corners with one of the longest straights in the sport, and lies at the foot of one of Astyria’s tallest mountains.

We hope you are all as excited for this as we are, and we hope to see you at the track once more in Valkea!

Most sincerely,

Richard Sutton
Chairman and CEO

Welcome to another Formula One race weekend, and we open with the memory of Stefan Lakowski's win at the Magnusson Circuit still fresh in our minds. Will he be able to keep his pace ahead going into the 16th Round of the 2020 season? This weekend you join us at the Valkean Grand Prix, which is held this year at the famous Vestola Circuit just outside of Orava.

With 5.807 km of winding track that rises and falls along the Valkean countryside, this was the brainchild of Heimo Järvinen, founder of the Sidus Motor Company, who developed it as a test track for race cars and motorcycles. Since then, it has seen championship after championship decided on its tarmac, especially in the 1980s and 1990s. To this day, both drivers and fans like love this circuit for its unique figure-eight configuration - the only one of its kind in the 2020 season - and for its great balance of overtaking opportunities and challenging corners.

Will this Sunday be a triumph for the Sidus team as they perform for their home crowd? Or will some other team take the win? Join us and find out!

Saturday's qualification was met with high expectations. Simo Rassinen took pole position, with Stefan Lakowski lining up to his right. The other Sidus, piloted by the Beriquois driver Guy Bassett, will be starting the race in P3. Bram Dichter will start from P4, which is the highest he’s qualified in any round this year.

It’s another disappointing session for MacGregor, who will start from the 11th and 16th positions. Surprisingly, Phaeton is quite split as well, with DiParadisa starting in 9th, and Koivu starting in 18th at his home race.

The stands were filled with thousands of spectators, waiting to see the Sidus team deliver a good race on their home turf. It’s lights out on Sunday, and Guy Bassett gets an excellent start and quickly manages to take the lead. His polesitting teammate, Simo Rassinen, follows close behind and pushes Stefan Lakowski into third. MacGregor’s Conway Prescott managed to gain seven positions and put himself in P9, while Steven Grey was able to grab two places and is now racing in 7th place.

By the halfway mark, the top four managed to lap the entire rest of the field, the first time that such a tremendous gap was seen in this season. Meanwhile, Phaeton's Pekka Koivu had risen from 16th place to 9th in that time, slowly making his way towards the front of the pack. His teammate, Tertius DiParadisa, was less lucky, dropping down to an abysmal 19th after a lengthy pit stop where he had to replace his front wing due to a small collision with Matthew Martins.

The virtual safety car was deployed on lap 42 after Devin Acker lost control of his Delaney and spun out. Despite the restriction in speed, however, the two Sidus cars had lapped the entire field at least once, and there was no coming back from it. Grey was making up places in the latter half of the race.

The checkered flag was brought out as Sidus crossed the line in a crushing 1-2 finish, with Bassett in first and Rassinen in second. Joining them on the podium will be the Noordenstater Bram Dichter. Lakowski finishes in P4 and Steven Grey in P5. Because of this spectacular win, Sidus has retaken the lead in the constructor standings, with MacGregor only eight points behind them.

In the last round of the Astyrian F1 2020 season, the crowd was overjoyed to see Sidus take the checkered flag in a 1-2 victory at Vestola Circuit. Will they be able to pull this off again, or will another team get the glory? Join us at the next round to find out!

At a very special 60th Anniversary Grand Prix, we bring you the action live from Maarinnat International Circuit, another famous Valkean racetrack built underneath the shadow of Mt. Maarinnat. While this track wasn't supposed to make it into this year's calendar - as it will be due to host the Valkean Grand Prix next year - it was chosen both for logistics reasons and for spicing up the season with a legendary venue that was host to many iconic moments in Astyrian F1. Let's see what this 4.583 kilometer ribbon of tarmac delivers for fans today.

A cold but dry day fell over the Maarinnat Circuit today, but it hasn't stopped the drivers from putting on spectacular times. Conway Prescott, driving for MacGregor, took pole position with a 1:17.658 lap, only 8/1000ths of a second off from the lap record set by Dominic Hudnall in 2019. Following Prescott are the two Sidus drivers, Simo Rassinen and Guy Bassett. Finallly, LZS's Stefan Lakowski and Phaeton's Pekka Koivu rounded out the top 5.

Due to an error in Turn 14, Ivan Jovanovic had lost valuable seconds and failed to go through Q1. Similarly, a near-spin by Steven Grey in Turn 6 cost him Q2.

It's lights out on the Maarinnat circuit and Prescott gets a bad start and drops down to 5th position. Meanwhile, Rassinen and Bassett manage to lock out the lead, which they maintained throughout the rest of the race. Koivu managed to briefly get 3rd place within the first quarter, while his teammate, Tertius DiParadisa - after getting knocked down to 18th in the scramble - punched his way up to 9th position by the halfway point.

A collision between Kappaksturslid drivers Ólafur Guðestersson and Maríón Álfheiður caused the Virtual Safety Car to be deployed on Laps 31 and 32. Both drivers had to box when the pit lane was opened the following lap. This cost both of them 6th and 7th positions, respectively, and Álfheiður was given a 10-second penalty.

On Lap 51, Breuer's Nicolas Von Siedel suffered damage to his front wing due to contact with Merlin's Gianpiero Santoro. The sheer amount of debris on the track caused a real safety car to be deployed from Lap 51 to Lap 54. The race officials handed Santoro a 5-second penalty in response to the incident.

Once again, Sidus crossed the line in a 1-2 finish, with Simo Rassinen claiming victory and Guy Bassett coming in second - a reversal of their finishing order in Vestola two weeks ago. Steven Grey, who was voted as Driver of the Day, finished the race in P3. His teammate, Conway Prescott finished just behind Stefan Lakowski. In the Constructors' Standings, Sidus has widened its lead over MacGregor, garnering 356 points to the latter's 328. But in the closing rounds of this season, anything can happen to change that.

Welcome to another F1 weekend! You join the action now as Sidus takes two 1-2 finishes in a row at the Valkean Grand Prix and the 60th Anniversary Grand Prix. With their lead widening over the rest of the field, it may seem that they may take the Constructors' Championship this year. But will they be able to maintain their lead for long?

Perhaps this track might be where the answer to that will take place: the magnificent Saint Moritz Circuit nestled in the hills of Nidwalden. When fans are asked which F1 track is the best in the entire season, many look to this place. And it's easy to see why: it's got the ingredients that good races are made of. High-speed straights, challenging corners, lots of elevation changes, and unpredictable weather to boot, every year it's always presented challenges for the drivers, as well as excellent places to do battle.

We are in for another good race on Sunday, and nowhere is the mood clearer than in the thousands of spectators that have come out to see these cars taking the uphill left-right complex of Kleinerbach and Bergauf, the track's most famous part. The crowd favorite appears to be Maximilian Frentzen, who is driving for Breuer in his rookie season. Will he be able to impress, or will be left behind by his more experienced counterparts?

The Nidwaldeser weather brought in light showers, but regardless the drivers showed off their skills quite well. Breuer driver Maximilian Frentzen put down a 1:54.841 lap time, claiming pole position. Guy Bassett of Sidus was close behind, only 0.037 seconds slower than the Nidwaldeser. Raamaker's Bram Dichter, Angelbridge's Octavius Clearwater, and MacGregor's Steven Grey rounded out the rest of the top 5 slots.

It was a disappointment for the wet-weather favorites on Saturday. Bassett's teammate Simo Rassinen spun in Q1, costing him the opportunity to break out into the next round, while Phaeton driver Pekka Koivu crashed upon exiting Turn 14.

It's lights out on this cold but dry afternoon, and Frentzen gets a good start in the scramble at the Turn 1 hairpin. Bassett and Dichter followed in pursuit, while LZS driver Ivan Jovanović overtook the Noordenstaater in the Turns 7-9 complex. Frentzen managed to keep his pace, going through each corner meticulously and maintaining his lead, with a performance that some have said to be like a veteran who's been in the sport for years.

On Lap 17, Kappaksturslid's Maríón Álfheiður suffered a crash as he was battling it out with fellow backmarker Devin Acker of Delaney. The safety car was brought out for 2 laps, while Acker was handed a 5-second penalty.

Throughout the race, fellow Angelbridge driver Decius Whitewall was steadily charging through the field but dropped down due to a pit stop so late in the race. He ended up finishing in P9. Similarly, Nicolas von Siedel was briefly in 5th position halfway through, but finished in 12th. Meanwhile, Conway Prescott had a disastrous outcome, dropping from 11th at the start to 17th. But perhaps the driver with the most disappointment was Rassinen, who experienced a big change of fortune from his last win in Maarinnat.

Merlin driver Gianpiero Santoro, after getting stuck in the midfield, slowly made up places in the latter half of the race, taking his time and managing his car to the finish. The plucky Monsan gained a 3rd place finish, and nearly would have gotten Driver of the Day for his stunning performance. Yet that award would go to Frentzen, who despite having the more experienced Bassett and Jovanović behind him for much of the race, was able to maintain his ground and take the win.

This phenomenal victory gave Breuer a fresh 26 points, widening its gap between it and the backmarker teams. It also gave Frentzen all the glory on that Sunday, and a glimmer of hope for the new generation of F1 drivers that have joined us for 2020. We hope that you've had as much fun as we've had!

Welcome to the 19th round of the 2020 Astyrian F1 season! We pick up the action from Nidwaldeser driver Maximilian Frentzen's tremendous victory at the famous Saint Moritz race circuit. Such a first victory was an incredible moment for him and Breuer, and may signal the beginning of a long and illustrious career for Frentzen. But can they take the checkered flag at this next event?

Round 19 takes place at the ultramodern Telora International Circuit in Aquitayne. This racetrack was created to showcase the city of Telora to the racing world, and bring Formula One into the 21st century. At its debut it was considered to be one of the most modern racing facilities ever built, and it contains one of the longest straights in this year's season.

This race is filled with anticipation, as Sidus driver Simo Rassinen is expected to clinch the Drivers' Championship at this event. This has placed the pressure on his fellow contender, LZS driver Stefan Lakowski. Will the Valkean be able to fend off his competitor at Telora? Or will Lakowski continue the fight for another round?

It's a cloudy Saturday in Telora, but fortunately for the drivers there isn't going to be rain today. Tertius DiParadisa made the most of it and clinched the front of the pack with his Phaeton. The talented Bram Dichter driving for Raamaker will be alongside him in P2 on Sunday, while his teammate Robert van Grol will be in P3. Pekka Koivu and Steven Grey finally round out the top 5 positions.

It was a disappointment for both Guy Bassett and Stefan Lakowski, who failed to qualify in the 1st round due to tire trouble and an early spin, respectively. The latter's fellow driver, managed to make it past Q1, but failed to qualify for the top 10 in Q2.

It's race time at the Telora International Circuit on a sunny afternoon, and DiParadisa gets a good start off of the line, along with Van Grol and Koivu. MacGregor's Conway Prescott and Sevir's Matthew Martins managed to climb four places in the initial scramble - the former then passing Gianpiero Santoro, Nick Hardy, Simo Rassinen, and Bram Dichter to take 6th place by the 7th lap. DiParadisa and Van Grol soon built up a tremendous lead ahead of the rest of the field by the 1st quarter.

However, due to his tires wearing out faster than expected, DiParadisa pitted on Lap 14, allowing Van Grol to pass him. His teammate was even less fortunate as Koivu made an error that caused him to almost spin out. Luckily, he was able to bring his car back in order, but it had cost him precious moments.

Halfway through the race, a battle was about to happen. Grey had made his way up to 2nd place just behind Van Grol, and he was almost about to pass him on Lap 34. Luckily the Noordenstaater defended his ground from the reigning world champion and maintained his position for much of the race. A heroic drive as well as some concurrent pit stops in later laps saw Prescott move up to 2nd place by the 3rd quarter, passing his teammate on Lap 37.

Due to a poorly timed pit stop, Van Grol was relegated to 3rd place. Meanwhile, DiParadisa had made his way back up the field, passing Prescott on Lap 44 and never looking back. The Confederate driver finished the race in 1st, with Prescott following in 2nd and Van Grol finishing in 3rd.

Fans voted Delaney's Nick Hardy as Driver of the Day for holding 3rd position for several laps before Prescott passed him on the 32nd lap. His 6th place finish also awarded Delaney 6 points, and has been the highest that the team has gotten so far during the season. Sadly, with only two races to look forward to, there isn't any hope for them to getting out of last place in the Constructors' Championship.

Meanwhile, Simo Rassinen has managed to take 7th place, which is all that he needs to mathematically be Drivers' Champion. Yet Sidus' work in the Constructors' Championship isn't over yet, as MacGregor still has a shot at adding a 2nd straight title. Regardless, his team is certainly going to be partying a lot.

Welcome to the 20th round of the 2020 Astyrian F1 season! You join us live from the historic Sedges circuit in Tythim, one of the oldest continually-running racetracks in Astyrian motorsport. This 6.02 km ribbon of tarmac has played host to F1 and many other series such as the Astyrian Sports Car Championship and the Astyrian Endurance Championship. And now, it plays host to the Arimathean Grand Prix.

Simo Rassinen has already won the Drivers' Championship at Aquitayne last week with his 7th place finish. But his work isn't done yet; the Sidus team has to still fight hard to maintain their lead in the Constructors' Championship. Will he and fellow driver Guy Bassett manage to defend from MacGregor, who are only several points behind? Time to find out!

A good day for qualifying was ahead as the sun was bearing down on Karekari today. Yet these conditions may prove challenging for the tires. Nevertheless, Raamaker driver Robert van Grol put on a stunning performance, claiming pole position. Breuer's Maximilian Frentzen will start alongside the Noordenstaater in 2nd, while Van Grol's teammate, the young Bram Dichter, will be starting in 3rd. To round out the top 5 are Nicolas von Siedel and Conway Prescott.

Q2 was a disappointment for Phaeton drivers Tertius DiParadisa and Pekka Koivu, who will be starting in the middle of the field. Behind them is the equally unlucky Simo Rassinen, who was unable to record as quick time due to a near-spin as he was exiting Turn 7.

Before the Arimathean Grand Prix even began, Delaney discovered a problem with Nick Hardy's car, which had to be retired. When the race Van Grol suffered a stall, which immediately dropped him down to 12th place. However, he was able to regain his composure and make it to 10th by the 1st quarter. Consequently, Frentzen led the race and held his position for half of the race.

Other notable position gains in the scramble included LZS's Ivan Jovanović, who surged up to 4th, MacGregor's Steven Grey, who made it to 6th, and Sidus' Guy Bassett, who climbed from 9th to 7th. Both Phaeton drivers also did well, as Koivu and DiParadisa passed car after car in the opening stages, slowly reaching the front of the pack.

This blistering pace continued, as Koivu was bearing down on Frentzen by the halfway mark. Yet DiParadisa was set back with a pit stop on Lap 21, and would struggle to get back to the front for the remainder of the race. Koivu and Frentzen battled hard until the Valkean made his move on Lap 29. From then on, there was no looking back.

Delaney would suffer yet another retirement as Devin Acker's powertrain gave out in Sector 2. A brief yellow flag was waved as the marshals cleared his car from the track. Conway Prescott was also taken out in a simila fashion on Lap 47.

The checkered flag waved as Pekka Koivu crossed the line, earning another win for Phaeton in the closing stages of the 2020 season. His teammate, Tertius DiParadisa, finished in 4th, having been denied by this race's Driver of the Day Dominic Hudnall. Despite starting the race in a dismal 19th place, Hudnall claimed a podium that day for Merlin, proving that the former world champion is not to be underestimated.

For Sidus, their championship hopes are still yet to be turned into reality, since MacGregor is close behind. A showdown between the two constructors is looming on the horizon. See you in the final race in Redemption Circuit!

Welcome to the final round of the 2020 Astyrian Formula One Season! As we race for the last time this year in the Blackhelm Confederacy, it all comes down to this. Sidus is currently leading in the Constructors' Championship, but it hasn't clinched it yet as MacGregor is hot on their heels. The Aswickan outfit knows that they have to finish their drivers within the podium, provided that one of the Siduses don't finish within the Top 10. Will the orange unicorn be able to score their needed points here, or will this chance at a back-to-back championship be crushed?

Let's head over to the venue of the Confederate Grand Prix, at the Circus Augusti Angelbridge near the city of Redemption. The track takes its name from a titan of the Confederate auto industry, Augustus Angelbridge. While this circuit is loved by both fans and drivers for its challenges, it's also notorious for being one of the most dangerous tracks in F1's history. Many egos were claimed by this track, and sometimes they claimed lives, including that of five-time Drivers' Champion Clayton Norris in 1997.

While Angelbridge Circuit suggests that it is the Angelbridge's F1 team's home track, the tens of thousands of diehard fans that have flocked here tell a different story. The whole of the Confederacy, it seems, has come out in full force to support Phaeton, who has carried their name across the world as the most successful F1 team of all time. The weight that Tertius DiParadisa and Pekka Koivu have on their shoulders is so great this weekend; will they be able to impress the masses waving flags in their honor, or will they be greeted by a disappointed crowd?

Saturday's qualifying was quite good for the Confederate teams. Phaeton locked out the first row in Q3, ensuring that they have an advantage for Sunday's race, with Angelbridge filling the second row. LZS's Ivan Jovanović finally rounds out the Top 5 that will be starting this Sunday.

Both MacGregors have failed to clear Q2, with Steven Grey just failing to get within the Top 10. He and his teammate Conway Prescott have a lot of work to do if they want to get their team to beat Sidus in the race.

It's lights out for the final time as we begin the Confederate Grand Prix, we hope you've enjoyed 2020's races as much as we have! The MacGregors quickly made up places in the initial scramble, and soon manage to get towards the front of the field. Meanwhile, Pekka Koivu gets a better start over his teammate DiParadisa, who is driving at his home race. The Phaetons and MacGregors fought hard throughout the race, constantly alternating positions with each other, showing the caliber of driver that both teams have had.

Angelbridge has also had an amazing race, as they were able to hold on to P3 and P4 for the 1st quarter; however, they eventually were passed by the MacGregors. Still, Decius Whitewall was able to hold on to 5th position for the team, while his teammate Octavius Clearwater had to settle for 7th. Both mean that Angelbridge ended the season with 41 points, widening their gap from the Sevir F1 team.

Sidus on the other hand hasn't had much of a good start, as Rassinen and Bassett were shaken at the start. However, they regained their composure and managed to hold on to their positions. Despite a challenge for 8th by Jovanović, the Valkean kept his cool and put up a good defense.

It was a great race for the Stabulum, as Pekka Koivu took the checkered flag to the adulation of thousands of screaming fans, with Conway Prescott splitting him and DiParadisa in the podium. Steven Grey would finish in 4th. However, Rassinen's consistent driving meant that he finished in 8th place, meaning that Sidus wins the Constructors' Championship by three points in one of the biggest upsets in Formula One. You can expect one hell of a party for Sidus as the team celebrates their 4th Championship and Simo Rassinen goes home a double champion.

That has been all folks. It’s been a season filled with triumph and heartbreak, and with strategies and improvisations. What a fitting way to end this current era of Astyrian F1. With the dawn of the new regulations to define the sport for next year, what will 2021 bring? We hope you'll stay with us as we introduce the new generation of F1 cars that will race in the 2021 season. See you then!
