As the story clearly notes:

'The racist abuse sprayed on the car includes the N-word'.

Given the BBC's recent difficulties over the latter word, it was presumably a deliberate decision to not include it in the photograph.

Although that is a decision I strongly disagree with. Showing the full thing would be better journalisms, with a greater impact. It would make people understand the matter more.

Censoring something bad makes it look less bad.

The United Kingdom already has an Official Monster Raving Loony Party, who may not be the loonies we deserve, but are at least in a grand tradition of mostly harmless British loonies.

Would Howling Laud Hope, Baron Von Thunderclap, or The Incredible Flying Brick throw paint at the HQs of other parties.

They would not.

I for one stand with the OMRLP in rejecting this latest outbreak of serious looniness, and calling for a return to good old fashioned harmless loony values.
