Baggnagia and Sunrisia agree to reestablish their military alliance and defense pact with the reopening of joint bases and Sunrisian bases on Baggnagian soil

Image

JUGAC, BAGGNAGIA – Chairman of the Military Council Lt. Colonel Juraj Pietsch had a video conference with Sunrisian President Addél Dîlectên recently. Even though it was another individual conversation with some cabinet officials partaking on both sides it was actually an inter-government dialogue. Its details were partially kept under wraps since both governments appeared to be too preoccupied with other affairs to share the aftermath. But today the sensational details have come out. Baggnagia and Sunrisia have agreed to re-establish the Mutual Defense Treaty. The defense pact was originally signed between South Baggnagia and Sunrisia. It remained in effect after the defeat of North Baggnagia and reunification of Baggnagia. Today’s Baggnagia is more of a successor state of South Baggnagia so the defense pact remained in effect. Sunrisia withdrew from the pact after the Socialist Coup in Baggnagia and also closed its military bases in Baggnagia over the severity of RETRIT-20 and PVAX-20 virus spread here. Even though Sunrisia help undo the Socialist Coup and restore the authority of the military government for a stabilization period the defense pact was not restored and the military bases were not reopened. But now the deal was reached to bring back the military alliance. Both parliaments will recognize the Mutual Defense Treaty as being legally in effect again with no need or possibility for resigning because of the pandemic. Sunrisian bases in Baggnagia will be reopened together with joint bases shared by Baggnagian and Sunrisian militaries. Baggnagia has committed itself to providing safe and sterile conditions for Sunrisian troops for them not to fear virus exposure in Baggnagia. Speaking of viruses the discussion also included the steady transfer of Baggnagian patients to Sunrisia for treatment. Whereas to the restoration of the military alliance the Sunrisians had a condition which they presented as a recommendation and that’s part of our next story.

Military Council announces parliamentary and presidential elections

JUGAC, BAGGNAGIA – Sunrisians said that to restore relations including a military alliance fully, Baggnagia needs to hold parliamentary, presidential and other elections to bring back a democratic government instead of a military one. In today’s grand announcement Chairman of the Military Council Lt. Colonel Juraj Pietsch announced that Baggnagia would soon be holding parliamentary and presidential elections. The specific date was not announced because it’s unclear what the situation with the RETRIT-20 and PVAX-20 viruses will be in Baggnagia. But it’s expected the situation may improve until then. The priority will be to create safe conditions for campaigning and the actual voting itself. Starting soon the Central Election Commission will be ready to accept registration of political parties wishing to run in the parliamentary and other elections for parties and also accepting collected signatures of citizens by people wishing to register as candidates for the presidential election. The Military Council will remain the government of Baggnagia until elections to avoid repeating mistakes that led to the Socialist Coup where the weaker body of the Constituent Assembly was immediately ousted by the Socialists after being given power by the Military Council.

Agreement Reached To Re-establish The Mutual Defense Treaty (Baggnagia–Sunrisia): SFB And JTF Combatant Commands To Be Re-launched, Bases To Be Reopened

Active Cases: 17 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 23

Image

Baggnagia and Sunrisia are continuing their military alliance in full-swing after a period of interruption over some crises in Baggnagia and the RETRIT-20/PVAX-20 pandemic. This is what Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vénî Adsécĕr declared today in relation to the video conference conversation between President Addél Dîlectên and Lieutenant Colonel Juraj Pietsch, Chairman of the Military Council of Baggnagia, where cabinet officials on both sides were present, including Minister Vénî Adsécĕr. Both sides have agreed to re-establish and place back into effect the Mutual Defense Treaty (Baggnagia–Sunrisia), which succeeded the Mutual Defense Treaty (South Baggnagia–Sunrisia) after the reunification of Baggnagia. The agreement would be placed back into effect by a legislative vote of the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia and the Military Council of Baggnagia, without a need to re-sign it, as well as without a possibility to do so, because of the RETRIT-20/PVAX-20 pandemic and how it affects travel and human interaction, including between world leaders and politicians.

With the return of a military and defense alliance, both sides have also agreed to reopen Sunrisian military bases and Baggnagian–Sunrisian joint military bases, which were out of commission since the brief coup d'état by the Socialists in Baggnagia, after which our country unilaterally exited the Mutual Defense Treaty, closed its’ bases in Baggnagia and withdrew its’ half from the joint military bases. Even after a joint Baggnagian – Sunrisian military effort helped overthrow the Socialists and push them into exile, the previous military ties were not reestablished until now. The situation with the RETRIT-20/PVAX-20 pandemic in Baggnagia was also a reason that made Sunrisia close its’ bases and evacuate its’ military personnel from Baggnagia and the continued situation with the pandemic in Baggnagia could have also been a reason why it took longer to reopen bases there and redeploy permanently-stationed Sunrisian soldiers to Baggnagia. There might have been hesitation. However, this time Baggnagia guaranteed secure and sterile conditions for Sunrisian service personnel stationed in Baggnagia and our own Department of Security said that the military personnel would be given all anti-virus supplies they will need.

Minister of International Relations Vénî Adsécĕr said that the Sunrisian side had put forth a condition to the Baggnagian side for the military alliance to be effectively reinvigorated and continue after a period of pause. That condition was for Baggnagia to hold democratic elections to transition from a military rule. The Baggnagian side agreed and the Military Council of Baggnagia announced parliamentary and presidential elections in the near future, although it did not specify the date, since it will depend on the situation with the viruses in the country. The Dîlectên administration believes that Baggnagia’s military government has mostly been able to serve as an effective and stabilizing leadership with a tough grip in Baggnagia in post-reunification period and after the coup by the Socialists was defeated. The only loss was the secession of Pamerava, which has become a UVN proxy. With Sunrisian military presence returned, the Dîlectên administration believes that stability in Baggnagia can now be upheld and the country can afford to transition from a military rule towards democracy. Nevertheless, the Military Council of Baggnagia declared it would not transfer power to another transitional governing body like what happened with the Constituent Assembly and would instead stay in power until elections.

Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vîsár Inpétăs stated that the sub-unified combatant commands in Baggnagia, which are Sunrisian Forces – Baggnagia (SFB) and the Joint Task Force (JTF), a shared command with Baggnagia, would be re-launched as well. SFB and the Sunrisian part of JTF both are under the command of the higher center – Sunrisian Ventismarian Command (SUNVENCOM), responsible for Sunrisian military operations on the continent of Ventismar. Minister Vîsár Inpétăs said that President Addél Dîlectên has appointed Major General Suél Facílâ as Commander of Sunrisian Forces – Baggnagia (SFB) and Sunrisia’s part of the Joint Task Force (JTF) shared with the military of Baggnagia.

Socialist Government in exile says it will not recognize elections in Baggnagia because it is an already existing legitimate government that awaits its rightful return to power in the nation

KREISOW, ENGLEAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC – Socialist Government of Baggnagia in exile in Kreisow, Englean Democratic Republic has reacted negatively to the news that Baggnagia was going to hold parliamentary and presidential elections in the near future. The Military Council of Baggnagia announced them with an undetermined date because of the pandemic of RETRIT-20 and PVAX-20 in the nation. But the Central Electoral Commission has already been opened for parties to be registered and also for individuals to start submitting a required number of collected signatures from citizens to be registered as candidates for president. The Socialist Government rejected this entire process by insisting that Baggnagia already has a legitimate government that was born out of the April Socialist Revolution and that’s the Socialist Government in exile. It awaits the removal of the military government in Jugac from power so that the Socialist Government in exile could return and rightfully reassume its positions. The Socialist Government in exile already has everything Madam President Sylva Čérny, Prime Minister Vítezslav Mattner, President (Speaker) of the Chamber of Deputies Liavon Jakavienka II and all branches of the government in place. President Sylva Čérny said that the Socialist Government in exile would not participate in these sham elections announced by the military junta as a Socialist Bloc (SB) party because the elections are illegal and unconstitutional. The Socialist Government in exile is already formed, exists and will ignore these elections instead focusing on the safe return to power one day. Prime Minister Vítezslav Mattner added that to run hypothetically wouldn’t even be safe because the military government would definitely imprison each and single member of the Socialist Government in exile if they were attempt to return to Baggnagia and run in the elections. But that will not happen because the elections will be boycotted and not recognized in advance by the Socialist Government in exile.

Daredland reintroduces visa-free travel for Englean citizens

Image

The United Confederal Assembly has reintroduced visa-free travel into Daredland for Englean citizens. Lower house National Council and upper house Council of States have approved it with majority votes. PLFWCD deputies voted against by arguing that Englean soldiers and agents could infiltrate Daredland with a tourist undercover and cause destabilization in Daredland. But those arguments were not enough to convince colleagues. LPM, Klare Sicht alliance and other political parties and coalition voted for reintroducing visa-free travel for Englean citizens. Due to the virus pandemic it’s not likely that Engleans would come flooding the Daredi Confederation soon even if Daredland doesn’t have virus cases. Another factor is that Daredland itself has closed borders after the pandemic was declared. So Daredland itself isn’t really letting anyone in and that’s the reason why Daredland doesn’t have a problem with the virus pandemic. The Daredi government prefers to keep the nation virus-free. But for the future from the legal point of view Engleans will once again be able to come to Daredland without needing a visa. Out of opposition forces the Germanic Union (GU) coalition has welcomed the decision. The Klare Sicht alliance is formally in the opposition but has basically become a second force in the government after LPM with some even arguing that it’s a more popular and influential force. Klare Sicht voted in favor. Only PLFWCD voted against and are these days acting like the opposition even though they’re formally part of the government and among leading forces there. But PLFWCD’s votes were outweighed by everyone else.

Local Authorities In Vesvai’s Part Of The Union Of Oblaren And Vesvai Release Detainees With Fines And A Warning No To Repeat Offenses

Local authorities in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai, including in Aurisi, have ordered the release of people detained in recent mass arrests on the island’s side of the Union. This is referring to those arrested at the border with New Vesvai who were protesting the laws closing the Union and New Vesvai border over the virus spreading threat and more guerillas coming from New Vesvai into Union’s territory. What followed were more manifestations, preparations to organize civil unrest and potential guerillas plotting terrorist attacks in other parts of Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. The authorities stopped those too and arrested a large group of people including deterring a large organized unrest on the streets of Aurisi. Today all arrestees were let go with warnings not to repeat past offenses, new offenses and also with fines that they have to pay up for violation of public order. Even those suspected for terrorism were let go along with others after specific evidence of their relation to terror plotting was now found. But the authorities will be keeping a closer look on them. The detainees have been put down in the law enforcement’s database.

Special Representative for Interactions with the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg Niklas Böhler calls Englean Representative for Weniges Affairs Heinrich Morgenthau to reach an agreement on recognizing each other’s governments

Image

In a historic exchange Daredi Special Representative for Interactions with the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg Niklas Böhler has shared a phone call with Englean Representative for Weniges Affairs Heinrich Morgenthau. This was confirmed today by the Confederal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Daredi Confederation whom the Special Representative works under. On the Englean side Niklas Böhler spoke with an envoy for Weniges Affairs since the Englean State simultaneously recognizes the people controlling the self-declared Weniges Reich occupying large parts of Daredland’s Wenigberg region as the legitimate government of Daredland but also a separate nation from Daredland. The remainder of the nation administered by the central government in Freihat is referred to as ‘Occupied Territories of Daredland’ although not clear occupied by whom. That is a confusing concept. But that was exactly the topic of conversation.

Special Representative Niklas Böhler called Englean Representative Heinrich Morgenthau with an offer of mutually recognizing each other’s governments. In such a case the Englean State would recognize Daredland as the Daredi Confederation while Daredland would recognize the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg as the Englean Kaiserreich and Englean Empire. That’s the proposition being given and it’s unclear if there will be discussion on further normalization of relations like restoring diplomatic relations, lifting sanctions and bringing back other contacts along with settling the Weniges issue.

The PLFWCD coalition has criticized this reach out to the Engleans. The GU coalition has expressed enthusiastic support for it. The governing LPM coalition and the Klare Sicht alliance have both expressed support. Klare Sicht was especially happy that a fellow alliance member is handling this historic moment since Special Representative for Interactions with the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg Niklas Böhler is a member of the Social Liberal Party (SLP) which together with the Party for Central Approach (PCA) comprise the Klare Sicht alliance.

Union’s Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal Says Internet Cut-Offs In Vesvai’s Part Of The Union Of Oblaren And Vesvai Are Hostile Cyber-Attacks From Abroad And There Should Be Internet Defense Measures Taken

Speaking from the Union’s capital Fortwel Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal talked about the events in his native Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. He addressed the issues with the internet shutdown that citizens there have been complaining about to their providers. This problem existed on the regular since before Vesvai and Oblaren formed the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai and continued ever since to this day specifically in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. PM Jonathan Mollisal explained that local Vesvaian internet providers, the Union’s internet providers or the nation and government have nothing to do with these cut-offs or shutdowns. He turned to gathered military intelligence and declassified parts that the citizens have a right to know about.

PM Mollisal said that according to military intelligence the cut-offs and regular shutdown of the internet in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai is due to cyber-attacks from abroad. It could be individual hackers, hacker organizations or terrorists based in other nations but the military intelligence leans more towards conspiracies of foreign hostile governments. The primary suspects are New Vesvai and Sunrisia. That was the theory before the Union was formed but updated military intelligence reinforces it to this day. What might have been added according to the Prime Minister is the possibility that foreign-sponsored and foreign-based guerilla organizations made up of Vesvaian expats, dissidents and defectors might have cyber units that are now also conducting cyber-attacks against Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. So it still might not entirely be just foreign hostile governments.

PM Jonathan Mollisal says he will propose a plan to President Russel Kelpir, the cabinet and the Caretaker Union Parliament of increased cyber-security measures as part of the defense budget. The Prime Minister will plan to consult with the military on this. One of the plans could include a greater autonomy of the Union’s sector of the internet from the greater worldwide web which could make it less vulnerable to outside incursion and control while also giving the Union more sovereignty in the internet sphere.

United Confederal Assembly recognizes Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg as Englean Kaiserreich and Englean Empire interchangeably

Image

Lower house National Council and upper house Council of States have voted in favor of recognizing the monarchy of the Englean State as the government of that nation. This has made the Daredi Confederation recognize the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg as Englean Kaiserreich and Englean Empire interchangeably. The only ones to vote against this decision were PLFWCD members while deputies from the governing LPM, the Klare Sicht alliance and other parties voted in favor of it in both chambers of the United Confederal Assembly allowing it to pass. The vote followed a phone conversation between Special Representative for Interactions with the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg Niklas Böhler and Englean Representative for Weniges Affairs Heinrich Morgenthau almost more than a week ago. Both representatives were discussing the topic of recognizing each other’s governments in that conversation for the most part. First Vice President of the Council of States of the Daredi Confederation Markus Thill from the Social Liberal Party (SLP) of the Klare Sicht alliance has said that Daredland will be looking for the Englean Kaiserreich to reciprocate by recognizing the Daredi Confederation and its government from the status of ‘Occupied Territories’. Thill also mentioned the readiness by the Daredi Confederation to restore diplomatic relations so that both nations could discuss and find a solution for the Weniges crisis on an inter-government level. Restoring economic relations and other full contacts would also be a possibility according to the First Vice President of the Council of States but that would be a step of further progress when the Weniges issue moves from its current point of disagreement. With Daredi recognition of the Englean leadership Confederal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Daredi Confederation Zina Fenstermacher said that the title of Special Representative for Interactions with the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg held by Niklas Böhler would be renamed into the Special Representative for Interactions with the Englean Kaiserreich or Englean Empire interchangeably and would remain active until the Daredi Confederation and the Englean Kaiserreich restore diplomatic relations.

Blues Ousted in Landslide Elections
By: Joerg Sprave

Last night, the results of Eikangaard's national election came in, and it handed the ruling Blue Party and current Premier Albert Madsen a resounding defeat. The Coalition for National Prosperity (CNP) and Tina Averden took home a majority government, something which eluded the Blue's during their ten-year reign over Eikangaard's government. Taking 52% of the vote on a message of hope and emphasis on Eikan Community Culture, the CNP will soon be leading the country. In a televised celebration, Tine Averden graciously accepted the nomination of Premiership and congratulated her opponents for a well-fought race.

Even Madsen, despite his loss, was gracious as he accepted the results of the election: "I am disappointed. We fought hard, we fought strong, and, in the end, we lost. Our opponents fought harder, and we lost the vote. But the people of Eikangaard have spoken, and I must now step down as premier. I wish Incumbent Premier Averden the best and I hope to work with her on crafting policy in the coming weeks. Rest assured, however, that in four years' time we will be back! We will be back and we will win for a better Eikangaard!"

However, there was one sore loser last night. Despite starting off the election season in the position to rapidly grow to become one of the major players, the New Coalition for Eikan Sovereignty and Nationalism finished well behind as a dangerous slip in the polls developed. Many trace this directly to a combination of a lack of a coherent policy and a rally in which Arthur Albinson pinned the blame for RETRIT/PVAX-20 on Immigrant populations, and called for their removal.

But Mr. Albinson was not ready to accept the loss, holding a separate inauguration ceremony and proclaiming himself as the rightful Premier of Eikangaard. In his "inauguration speech" Mr. Albinson called the election "rigged from the start" and called on the Eikan people to "rebel against [a] leftist, foreign-backed dictatorship committed to the ruination of the Eikan State." Currently, his words have fallen off deaf ears and few, if any, have taken him seriously.

Regardless, Eikangaard swings into the new decade with new leadership at the helm. One which has promised to institute tougher measures to control the spread of RETRIT/PVAX-20 as their current number one priority. "After this,"said Incumbent Averden. "We will continue the work we started with the reunificaiton of Eikangaard, and move towards a better future."

Sunrisian NGO Liberty Conglomerate (LC) Takes On The Sunrisian Government: Calls For A Lustration Process And Will Begin Its’ Own Lustration Investigation

Active Cases: 17 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 23

Image

The Orentan-based NGO – Liberty Conglomerate, or LC for short, which recently had a change among leaders and most high-ranking members, has challenged the Sunrisian government. This could be viewed as a bold step, considering that despite being an NGO, LC still gets a large portion of its’ funding from the Sunrisian government. Nevertheless, based on constitutional rights of checks and balances, the relationship between the government and NGOs and individual government–LC “contract”, LC has the democratic right and responsibility to do what it is now doing.

What happened is that the Liberty Conglomerate has approached the government of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia with a demand to launch a lustration process against all government officials, including those in the administration of the President, the Convet, the Superior Court, even other state institutions like the military and the intelligence agencies, including the Prime Intelligence Division (PID). The argument of the LC representation has been the following:

In its’ modern history, Sunrisia has undergone a collapse and restoration of statehood, several regime changes, de facto and de jure transformations from one sovereign state into another, changed multiple governments, etc. And in-between all these events, especially today, the country must have a clean slate. Although many of the past politicians from previous governments, regimes or incarnations of the Sunrisian state are no longer among the living, prematurely or naturally, or are not in politics anymore, the modern day Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia must guarantee that there are no remnants of the past’s “political elites” or any officials linked to foreign powers in today’s Sunrisian politics. There must be complete sovereignty and a complete clean slate. Therefore, the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia must undergo a full lustration process.

The Liberty Conglomerate plans to appeal to the Superior Court first and foremost to require that it rules in favor of the lustration process as a requirement. Members of the NGO will also approach the Convet and the administration of the President. At the same time, because all of these branches of the government would fall under this lustration and would basically be told to investigate themselves, LC plans an independent lustration investigation on its’ own in cooperation with other existing NGOs, up and coming NGOs and the Sunrisian civil society overall.

BREAKING: PLFWCD exits government and withdraws into opposition, Klare Sicht alliance says the ‘government collapse’ is additional proof that declaring early elections was a right decision

Image

And now we have breaking news coming in from the government ranks. The PLFWCD coalition has announced its exit from the government and withdrawal into political opposition. PLFWCD has surrendered its mandates in the United Confederal Assembly including lower house National Council and upper house Council of States. Whether this constitutes a collapse of the LPM-led government is a bit early to say but the withdrawal of the second largest political force by last election numbers from the government could technically count as a government collapse. The United Confederal Assembly has now obviously developed a lot of vacancies but without a doubt the LPM-led government will find a way to fill them in the same way when PLFWCD abandoned the Confederal Cabinet. But the interesting fact is that PLFWCD is not surrendering the mandates of its deputies in local, regional and municipal governments. By default that means that the recently returned territories of the Haspera region from separatist rule remain temporarily governed by PLFWCD. And PLFWCD is now in the opposition so those territories are technically opposition-governed unless the LPM-government insists on appointing other party’s deputies as interim local authorities in the returned territories.

Same time as during the PLFWCD’s exit from the Confederal Cabinet, the final full exit of PLFWCD from the current Daredi government and withdrawal into opposition was related to the Englean Kaiserreich. Last time PLFWCD Confederal Ministers, including de facto leader of PLFWCD Franz Potesinan, left the Confederal Cabinet in protest of the controversial Weniges peace plan. It was proposed by Confederal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Daredi Confederation Zina Fenstermacher and supported by the Klare Sicht alliance and the governing LPM coalition not to mention the pan-Germanist GU coalition that’s outside the government completely with no seats. Back then PLFWCD left the Confederal Cabinet but insisted it would remain part of the LPM-led government to ‘control the situation from the inside.’ Since then the rift has only been widening but it had already been widening since Klare Sicht alliance started ‘climbing the latter’ in the government ranks despite not having enough votes to do that. It only had the right to be in the opposition. This final break by PLFWCD from the LPM-led government has come with the decision to recognize the leadership of the Englean Kaiserreich or Englean Empire which no longer makes that nation the Kaiserlich-Controlled State of Engleberg in the eyes of Daredi law. PLFWCD was also not thrilled by the intention to reintroduce visa-free travel, restoring trade and other contacts, diplomatic includes, at times of Englean control of Daredi land in the Wenigberg region. PLFWCD has called out these policies as ‘capitulation’ and ‘pro-Englean.’

Klare Sicht has referred to PLFWCD’s exit from the Daredi government as a ‘government collapse’ and said that it only shows that the Daredi government needs early elections and that the law dictates early elections in case of a government collapse. Klare Sicht members also added that since PLFWCD is now part of the political opposition and not the government anymore then the early local elections will have to determine whether governing or opposition forces will administer the returned Hasperan land. But Klare Sicht also has not excluded the option that the LPM-government may have to determine whether to replace PLFWCD opposition deputies in those regions with deputies from other parties.

Convet Votes To Expand Individual Sanctions Against The Entire Union Of Oblaren And Vesvai, Since Previously-Sanctioned Vesvaian Politicians Acceded To The Union’s Central Government

Active Cases: 16 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 24 (+1)

The Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia has voted to expand individual sanctions from just the government officials based in Vesvaian half of the Oblaren and Vesvai Union to the government of the entire Oblaren and Vesvaian Union. This was explained as a natural progression, since many officials of the government of the previously independent Dominion of Vesvai, before it became part of the Oblaren and Vesvai Union, were under individual sanctions from Sunrisia. After the Union was formed, the individual sanctions remained in effect only in regards to the Vesvaian half of the Union, while Oblarenite half was unaffected.

However, since then, the Union formed a single central government based in Fortwel, previously the capital of sovereign Oblaren and now the capital of the Oblaren and Vesvai Union. A sanctioned Vesvaian politician like the irreplaceable Jonathan Mollisal, who was previously the Prime Minister of the Dominion of Vesvai, has become the Prime Minister of the entire Oblaren and Vesvai Union. He has since moved from Vesvai to Fortwel in Oblaren. And there have been speculations that other sanctioned Vesvaian politicians could get positions in the Union government and it is unclear how many already have gotten them, including how many sanctioned Vesvaian MPs have become part of the joint Union parliament. Given that, the entire joint central government of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai will now have these individual sanctions expanded against it.

However, simply expanding the Vesvaian sanctions against the rest of the government of the sovereign state that Vesvai is now a part of, has not been the only reason. Lawmakers claim there are additional reasons for why these sanctions are deserved by those in Fortwel. Among them are continued regular repressions against citizens on the Union’s half of Vesvai Island, self-imposed internet blockade blamed on cyber-attacks by foreign countries, Sunrisia included, and Fortwel ignoring or giving intentional silent approval of human rights abuses, arrests and suppression of any protest or dissent in Union’s Vesvai, trying to hide the information of civil unrest there from the outside, including through internet blockade and accusing everyone of being aligned to guerillas, being terrorist or extremist.

Convet Speaker Flórên Infána declared the legislation on expanded individual sanctions against the central government of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai as having passed at the parliament and it will now go to President Addél Dîlectên to be signed and enter into force.

Union’s Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal Denounces Increased Sunrisian Sanctions

Prime Minister of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai Jonathan Mollisal has spoken out against the newly expanded Sunrisian sanctions. This is in reference to the Sunrisian Convet which is their parliament, voting to expand individual sanctions against the entire government of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. The Sunrisians argued that they took this decision because of Vesvaian politicians including PM Jonathan Mollisal entering the Union government in Fortwel which puts the entire central government of the Union under fire. Additionally they further explained their extension of sanctions because of Sunrisia being pointed out as possible suspected foreign power behind cyber-attacks responsible for internet shutdown in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. Also the Sunrisians have painted the fight against crime by local law enforcement and fight against terrorism by the military in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai as human rights abuses. That includes terrorism that Sunrisia helps sponsor together with New Vesvai by aiding guerilla warfare by militia in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. Prime Minister of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai Jonathan Mollisal has called for responsive action against the Sunrisians.

Aspiring candidates for presidency, aspiring political parties and other aspiring politicians resume the collecting of signatures nationwide to get registered at the Central Election Commission

Image

JUGAC, BAGGNAGIA – The Military Council of Baggnagia has declared parliamentary and presidential elections in the nation not so long ago. But the specific date was not announced due to concerns over what the situation with RETRIT-20 and PVAX-20 would be like in Baggnagia in the near future. The campaign period for either of the elections hasn’t begun either. That’s because there are no candidates or parties to run in those elections yet. Those wanting to become candidates for president are collecting signatures around Baggnagia to submit them to the Central Election Commission in order to be registered as candidates. The same goes for those wishing to register political parties for parliamentary and local elections. Apart from key parliamentary and presidential elections the Military Council of Baggnagia hasn’t announced local elections yet. But those will be left up to the newly elected government to follow through with.

After the collapse of Baggnagia into North, South and shortly lived Baggnagia-Neodvisni (with Neodvisni later joining South Baggnagia after North Baggnagia annexed most of Baggnagia-Neodvisni and today’s Pamerava being a successor of Baggnagia-Neodvisni) the first elections in South Baggnagia had many political parties existing which participated in parliamentary and presidential elections. North Baggnagia had no elections ever, not even fake ones for show. But since then in South Baggnagia itself there were many events that happened where the elected government suffered a coup (more of a self-coup by the president and later ousting of the president himself by a new governing body), the Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia took over. Later on it passed the power over to the military and following the Baggnagian War the North and South were reunified. Baggnagia was ruled by the military government, passed power over to the Constituent Assembly which was briefly ousted by the Socialists and then the Socialists were quickly ousted and exiled themselves reestablishing previous military rule which exists to this day. A lot of politicians from those old days are still among the living but their political parties and alignments are not. In fact many of them have contracted RETRIT-20 or PVAX-20 with some being sick today while others still being in recovery and away from politics. Parties from those days have died out. The only political party surviving from those days is the Socialist Bloc (SB) which launched unsuccessful Socialist Coup mentioned before and ended up being ousted and exiled while maintaining a Socialist government-in-exile. The coup is a crime that takes away SB’s right to run in these elections which SB threatened not to recognize anyway since it maintains that its one party Socialist government-in-exile is the sole legitimate one and no elections can happen.

Now Baggnagia will be having entirely new phases coming into its politics unless some of the older politicians who had recovered from the virus like the last Foreign Minister of South Baggnagia Mina Symank or those that will recover later decide to register with the Central Election Commission to become candidates or start a political party.

National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên And Predecessor Mústêll Cónsîla Discuss The Aid Initiative For Baggnagia

Active Cases: 16 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 24

Image

Líbêll Aûctórên, Sunrisia’s National Defense Consultant to President Addél Dîlectên, has gotten in contact with his predecessor – Mústêll Cónsîla, to discuss the aid initiative for Baggnagia. During his tenure prior to Baggnagian reunification, former National Defense Consultant Mústêll Cónsîla proposed an aid plan that could help both halves of yet non-reunified Baggnagia to rebuild and jump-start the economy. At the time, this aid would have been aimed more towards the North, since it took a bigger hit during the Baggnagian War as the defeated side and was then under the military occupation of South Baggnagian and Sunrisian forces. The first version of that aid project, which was called the Cónsîla Initiative, also included help in re-launching, creating, strengthening democratic institutions in both halves of Baggnagia and a continued support for reforms in all areas of life. It would have also continued to aid reunified Baggnagia afterwards, in case the citizens would have voted to reunify, which they ultimately did. However, the Cónsîla Initiative did not officially come to be and Sunrisia was just aiding the rebuilding and development of Baggnagia in other ways with a collection of different initiatives, instead of something comprehensive.

Today, National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên has reached out to predecessor Mústêll Cónsîla to make what was supposed to be the Cónsîla Initiative, a reality. With Baggnagia undergoing a democratic transition, a fight against the RETRIT-20/PVAX-20 pandemic on its’ territory, and an unfortunate violation of its’ territorial integrity with the Pameravan crisis, which is additionally being supported by Baggnagia’s neighbors from UVN, including the Englean Kaiserreich, National Defense Consultant Aûctórên believes Baggnagia needs what the Cónsîla Initiative was supposed to be. At the same time, the current National Defense Consultant has reportedly proposed to narrow that aid initiative to just rebuilding, jump-starting and boosting the Baggnagian economy, rather than including all the other elements of supporting Baggnagian institutions and reforms, as Sunrisia is helping in those areas with other initiatives and through other channels already, including military aid.

Supposedly, the discussion also included an identical initiative for West Zilveren Berg, which has been receiving a lot of Sunrisian loans for economic boost and reforms, with the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia recently appealing to allies in the SOWEFTA trade bloc to also provide loans to West Zilveren Berg to help it with that country with economy and reforms in state institutions. All these initiatives are going to require a lot of monetary aid, which is why Sunrisia has been engaging with allies in common supranational alliances, to make it all work.

In other news:

  • All Sunrisian major news outlets “mobilize” to cover the Lustration process initiated by the Sunrisian NGO Liberty Conglomerate (LC) aimed at the Sunrisian government.

Terror Plots By Guerillas Foiled In Vesvai’s Part Of The Union Of Oblaren And Vesvai, Local Security Forces Say New Vesvai May Be The State Sponsor Of These Activities

Image

Forces of State Security Services as a division of the military in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai have foiled several terror plots around the Union’s territory on the Island of Vesvai. Primarily the officers have found bombs in public places and disarmed them. Investigations will be opened but the State Security Services link these bomb plantings to the guerilla movement that was recently active on the territory of Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. Some of the leading officers said they have a reason to believe that New Vesvai was a state sponsor of these terror plots because they have served as a nation from where the guerillas were coming into Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. The guerillas that were pushed out are there to this day by official information and acquired intelligence. The State Security Services will continue looking for more bombs that now that these discovered explosive devices have shown the terror threat not having surpassed just yet.

Minister Of Security Vîsár Inpétăs Meets With Minister Of Finance And Economic Development Cóitâ Nêcétó To Discuss The Aid Plan For West Zilveren Berg

Active Cases: 16 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 24

Image

Possibly inspired by the current administration and cabinet colleague National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên, as well as that colleague’s predecessor former National Defense Consultant Mústêll Cónsîla, Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vîsár Inpétăs has decided to initiate a similar aid project like the current National Defense Consultant and his predecessor will be doing. Except, whereas National Defense Consultant Aûctórên and his predecessor Mústêll Cónsîla will be doing it for Baggnagia, Minister of Security Vîsár Inpétăs is aiming to initiate that aid for West Zilveren Berg.

Minister Vîsár Inpétăs has gotten into contact with the administration and cabinet colleague Minister of Finance and Economic Development of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cóitâ Nêcétó, with President Addél Dîlectên being notified. Both officials reportedly discussed what Minister Inpétăs referred to as the Inpétăs Initiative, an obvious callback to the Cónsîla Initiative for Baggnagia with similar assistance. Minister Inpétăs reportedly referred to the ineffectiveness of analogous assistance programs of past leaderships of the Sunrisian state, not even of the present day Nationalist Republic, and stated that today’s Sunrisia that finished the job of physically rebuilding West Zilveren Berg from the war, needs to provide aid that would help rebuild and launch the West Zilveren economy along with helping support the reforms there and also the defense sector of the country. Minister of Finance and Economic Development Cóitâ Nêcétó replied first and foremost with a reminder that Sunrisia has been the primary loan provider to West Zilveren Berg.

Minister of Security Vîsár Inpétăs invited Minister of Finance and Economic Development Cóitâ Nêcétó for consultation to find out how much monetary, economic and budgetary capabilities Sunrisia has to follow through with this Inpétăs Initiative for West Zilveren Berg, if taking into account that planned Cónsîla Initiative for Baggnagia would be going through as well. Reportedly, Minister Cóitâ Nêcétó will be meeting National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên and former National Defense Consultant Mústêll Cónsîla for a similar conversation on their aid plan for Baggnagia.

Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Dismisses Accusations Of New Vesvai Sponsoring Terrorism In Vesvai’s Part Of The Union Of Oblaren And Vesvai

New Vesvai’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to accusations with no proof that from the side of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai specifically from those in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai of terrorism sponsorship. The State Security Services over in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai have found a number of bombs in different random parts of the territory across the border. Without proof the high ranking officers of those structures have pinned this to guerillas and to New Vesvai as a nation that provided sanctuary to guerillas that the Union was facing against recently. Diplomats from the other side didn’t even get involved and left all of these baseless accusations to their military who also announced that the terror threat has not surpassed and that they would have to return to looking for more threat.

New Vesvai’s Prime Minister Adi Letago didn’t even bother to personally respond to this instead focusing on the question of his succession at premiership. The diplomats took on the issue. The Foreign Ministry released a statement that the other side’s accusations are baseless and expressed concern that this might be action similar to a false flag operation. In other words, the leadership, police and military on the other side may have planted those bombs themselves, planted it on New Vesvai and supposed guerillas still active there. This could give them justification not only for hostile action against New Vesvai and more tensions at the shared border but also at more crackdown on political dissent in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai by justifying everything as a fight against supposed guerillas and terrorism along with New Vesvai’s agents. But New Vesvai’s diplomats have not ruled out that there could be independent guerilla elements that developed in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai as part of radical response to repressions from authorities. But that’s just a theory as New Vesvai’s Foreign Ministry leans more towards the false flag operation.

BREAKING: King Garnaren VIII Diagnosed with Lymphatic Cancer
By: Janet Maass

This morning, the Royal Household of Eikangaard released a statement concerning the health of King Garnaren VIII. Eikangaard's reigning monarch has been growing steadily more and more distant from the public eye, where once he had been a rather public figure. This distancing from the public sphere coincided with increasing comments on the King's appearance, namely that he to be in increasingly ill health. Until now, the Royal Family has been quite tight-lipped on the subject, stating that the King was simply dealing with a minor illness.

Said minor illness turned out to be Lymphatic Cancer, as confirmed by the Royal Household this morning. The King was been receiving treatment for the disease for months now, however the prognosis is not good according to the doctors overseeing his treatment. "The King has, at best, three months left." Said Dr. James Fonnassi, the King's attendant physician. "Cancer has already spread to multiple different areas of the King's body. At this point, we're simply trying to prolong his lifespan and keep him as comfortable as we can."

It seems that, during this pandemic, a Unified Eikangaard will need to say goodbye to its first King in over four decades. It is likely he will be succeeded by his eldest daughter Krissal as Monarch of the State of Eikangaard. We here at ENN wish the Royal Family the best during these trying times.

Convet Passes The Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative To Aid Baggnagia

Active Cases: 15 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 25 (+1)

Image

Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia has voted to pass the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative co-authored by National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên and predecessor former National Defense Consultant Mústêll Cónsîla. Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative is an aid plan for Baggnagia, primarily aimed at re-launching the Baggnagian economy full speed and support reforms in that country. Aiding and supporting democratic state institutions in Baggnagia is being done by the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia by other means and through other channels. The Sunrisian lawmakers in the Convet, including the majority coalition, the in-between parties and the opposition did not have much divisiveness when passing the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative, so the vote went by smoothly and passed through, now heading to the President’s desk for signing.

Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vîsár Inpétăs is preparing his own identical aid plan, which he has called the Inpétăs Initiative as an obvious call-back to the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative for Baggnagia, except the Inpétăs Initiative would be aimed at aiding West Zilveren Berg in an identical way with an aim towards supporting the West Zilveren economy and reforms, while helping the country through other channels. On the surface, apart from the humanitarian factor of the entire ordeal, it looks like a race or competition between the current cabinet officials and administration members National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên and Minister of Security Vîsár Inpétăs, although it never looked like there was any rivalry between the two. In fact, logically Minister of Security Inpétăs would not have so obviously named his West Zilveren aid plan with a call-back to the aid plan of National Defense Consultant Aûctórên – Last Name of Author and the word “Initiative.” Maybe there is something behind the administration doors that we do not know about yet, but as the journalist community, we will find out for sure on behalf of this network and colleagues in other networks around the country.

In other news:

  • President Addél Dîlectên has sent a letter to King Garnaren VIII of Eikangaard, following the public reveal of the monarch’s Lymphatic Cancer diagnosis and the first confirmed death from PVAX-20 in Eikangaard. In the letter, the President of Sunrisia wished strength, expressed words of support and love towards the King, the Royal Family and the people of Eikangaard.

Prime Minister Adi Letago Passes The Torch To Hale Aniho As New Head Of Government In A Succession Ceremony

Today the man who was the leader of the Silver Revolution that saved New Vesvai’s democracy and later became the post-revolutionary Prime Minister has said goodbye to the position of head of government. As he promised Prime Minister Adi Letago has passed the torch and transferred power to a successor and that person is Hale Aniho who’s a member of the Break Out Alliance (BOA) party. BOA is in a coalition with the outgoing Prime Minister Letago National Renewal (NR) party. PM Adi Letago said he wanted his successor to be from the coalition partner BOA to have a rotation of premiership between NR and BOA. PM Adi Letago recommended Hale Aniho himself although he in the past spoke about how he saw New Vesvai’s current Deputy Prime Minister Nikau Pasvecal as a successor. To PM Adi Letago the Deputy PM stood out with greater leadership during some challenges that New Vesvai faced in Letago’s absence due to quarantine and self-isolation. But Deputy PM handled the task and that’s when PM Letago started speaking about Deputy PM Pasvecal as successor. PM Letago even mentioned the Deputy PM as successor recently when talking about his departure from premiership and potential successors. But for fairness sake PM Letago still probably wanted to give a BOA member a chance and chose Hale Aniho.

PM Adi Letago travelled to New Vesvai’s Head Administrator Andre Tilicome for a symbolic offering of his resignation. Now former PM Adi Letago returned to the Parliament while Deputy PM Nikau Pasvecal again briefly became the Acting Prime Minister until the successor is voted in. Although opposition parties had their struggles with PM Adi Letago and showered him with a lot of criticism it wasn’t as easy for them to say goodbye to the former Prime Minister and vote in a new one. Especially since it is somebody from a different party although from the same coalition that the opposition clashes against often. After a lengthy process of debating and such MPs finally voted in BOA member Hale Aniho as Prime Minister making her the second female to hold the position since New Vesvai’s independence and the first one since the Silver Revolution. Prime Minister-designate Hale Aniho then left the Parliament to travel to HA Andre Tilicome to present herself as the new head of government and receive his blessing which she did. Afterwards the new Prime Minister came back to the Parliament and delivered her first address. As for ex-PM Adi Letago he would be withdrawing into the position of a regular MP of the NR party in the current coalition government with the BOA party.

Convet Passes The Inpétăs Initiative To Aid West Zilveren Berg: Sunrisia Appeals To SOWEFTA Allies To Aid West Zilveren Berg As Well

Active Cases: 14 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 26 (+1)

Image

After the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia passed the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative co-authored by National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên and predecessor former National Defense Consultant Mústêll Cónsîla as an aid plan for Baggnagia, the Convet has today also passed an identical aid plan for West Zilveren Berg authored by Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vîsár Inpétăs. The aid plan for West Zilveren Berg identical by formula to the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative for Baggnagia, is named the Inpétăs Initiative in honor of its’ author.

Like with the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative, members of the Convet did not debate much or have any disagreements before passing the Inpétăs Initiative. At the same time, some opposition lawmakers insisted that Minister of Finance and Economic Development of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cóitâ Nêcétó arrives at the Convet and presents how much both aid plans for Baggnagia and West Zilveren Berg are going to cost and what are the financial and economic capabilities of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia to fully achieve and provide these aid plans. The thing is that the lawmakers demanding this did so after having already cast their votes in favor of both the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative and the Inpétăs Initiative. When it came to Inpétăs Initiative, Minister of Security Vîsár Inpétăs said that he spoke about his aid plan for West Zilveren Berg with Minister of Finance and Economic Development Cóitâ Nêcétó and also informed President Addél Dîlectên before the plan was presented to the Convet. However, some lawmakers still want to hear from Minister Nêcétó personally post-factum. As mentioned before, like with the Cónsîla–Aûctórên Initiative for Baggnagia, the Inpétăs Initiative for West Zilveren Berg is designed to re-launch and support West Zilveren economy, as well as reforms in that country.

Meanwhile, Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vénî Adsécĕr has contacted counterparts in full member states – Creperia and Edereon, as well as associate states – Daredland and New Vesvai, appealing that these countries join Sunrisia in providing loans to West Zilveren Berg to make the aid for that country more effective and help West Zilveren Berg fully recover from its’ war days.

Incoming NLP Coalition Considers Possible Universal Basic Income Bill
By; Joerg Sprave

While they have yet to formally take power, members of the victorious NLP Coalition have begun floating the idea of introducing Universal Basic Income to Eikangaard. Much has been said on social media about the proposed bill. Some have welcomed the possibility, stating that in a world of increasing automation, it would provide some measure of security to lower-income families. Others, however, have criticized the idea, stating that it would immediately crush the burgeoning Eikan economy post-haste.

To elaborate, the NLP's UBI plan would provide 800 Skeids - worth about 500 NSD - to all citizens of the country of 18 years or older on a monthly basis, regardless of income. Said plan would be estimated to cost nearly 783.4 Billion Skeids - or 490 Billion NSD - lending some credence to the assertions of detractors over cost. Said program would, should it be approved, would comprise nearly 30% of current government spending, and would likely require an increase in taxation somewhere to make up the shortfall.

Regardless, Universal Basic Income is certainly attractive in an increasingly automated world. This is especially true when considering the growing threat posed by RETRIT/PVAX-20. Even if this virus does not completely shut down the global economy, it's expected that similar outbreaks will become more common as the world becomes more and more interconnected. Regardless of the concerns of detractors, UBI may be a necessary evil to ensure Eikangaard's continued prosperity.

Sunrisia Reinstates Required Wearing Of Masks And Respirators In Public

Active Cases: 13 (Being Treated)

Recovered: 27 (+1)

Image

Despite the positive statistic regarding the RETRIT-20/PVAX-20 pandemic in the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia, the government has decided to reinstate the required wearing of masks and respirators in public areas with a recommendation of optional wearing of gloves and keeping as much social distancing as possible. Having personal hand sanitizers has also been recommended, but every public establish across the country has them displayed for use. Although the quarantine has not been reinstated and there are no such plans to do so, measures hinting at the possible return to quarantine days, are being taken. These requirements were implemented by the recommendation of Minister of Health of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Anímâ Sálû, who gave a public briefing on these plans a day prior.

Critics point out the “overly paranoid” approach by the Sunrisian government towards battling the viruses, considering that the statistics for such a large country are only 13 cases across a couple-hundred population with a regular drop in infected numbers, rise in recoveries and no new cases. In spite of those statistics, the Department of Health argued that the daily recoveries and no new cases are exactly the reasons why the requirement of masks and respirators in public should be a requirement again, even in non-closed locations, outside includes, so that the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia could continue a guaranteed daily drop and finally bring it down to 0. The strategy right now is to guarantee that there will be no new cases, but without bringing back the quarantine. After the aspired goal of dropping to 0 cases is reached, from that point on Sunrisia will see what further strategy to apply.

Minister of the Interior and Home Affairs of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Aûdrî Elénên said that Sunrisian borders would still remain closed for travel into the country and outside of the country. President Addél Dîlectên plans to once again address the nation on the issue of the RETRIT-20/PVAX-20 pandemic in Sunrisia and the world, where the head of state will probably attempt to appeal for national understanding of these policies and probably echo the arguments of his own administration officials.

In other news:

  • Sunrisian LGBTQ show support for the LGBTQ community in Eikangaard after the murder of a known trans-rights activist Miley Shuz in that country. Sunrisian government asks for the authorities in Eikangaard to investigate the crime “through and trough.”

Vesvai’s Part Of The Union Of Oblaren And Vesvai Facing Off Against Guerillas Again: Internal Troops Take Over Anti-Guerilla Operations

Image

Local authorities in Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai have reported a resurgence of active guerilla activity on the island again. This information was presented by the military and intelligence agencies. The recent mass sabotage of terror plots in different areas of Vesvai’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai should have been a signal. The State Security Services said that the guerillas were responsible for those planted bombs they found but the authorities on the island hoped it was an isolated incident. The borders with New Vesvai and bilateral travel was and is closed so the change of guerillas coming back from there across the border was nearly impossible. But now the guerillas are somehow back and very active.

Union troops engaged guerillas in several firefights around the Union’s part of the island. Those encounters ended with the guerillas fleeing. The local authorities including in Aurisi now say that the counter-terrorism operations may have to be continued once more. This time they would be handled by Internal Troops under the Interior Ministry’s command rather than the regular army. Police would still play a role. Authorities are not excluding that these guerillas might not really be the same ones that came from New Vesvai. It’s possible that there are elements of domestic terrorism this time and that some locals have been inspired by guerillas that came from New Vesvai in the past to now wage guerilla war against their own homeland.
