hey guys, i was thinking of having a animal RP. Kind of based on the Redwall series. Most of the creature as the mice would have their own kingdoms as such. It would be like a real medieval world. There would be multiple conquerors. In the middle of the land would be a peaceful kingdom protected by an agreement. The creatures would be squirrels, mice, otters, moles, voles, shrew, hares, badgers, hedghogs, rats, stoats, weasels,foxes, toads, lizards, crows, snakes, and wildcats. Any interested?

I thought there was a Redwall RP already going.

Yes (i would know as I created it), but I have seen how most people do not know redwall. I was thinking tht after the redwall rp ends, the suggested rp would come into place, as it would not demand as much knowledge of redwall

Oh boy, it's been a long time since I've been on this site but here goes nothing! This is simply a concept for an RP in planning that I've been drafting up for some time with the help of a few friends.

RP's Overarching Concept: This RP concept combines the concept of the ISOT with that of the standard faction based geopolitical simulation. Some 11 years ago, an unexplainable event displaced dozens of nations from different timelines / universes into a new Earth, and history happened. A lot of things are predetermined (me and a few friends wrote a timeline) but that stopped in 1945. The current RP will pick up where the timeline (and post war events) left off, with much of how the world progresses up to the new players.

Genre/s: Alternate History, PT, Cold War, Anime (?)
- But "why anime" you ask? You'll find out later...

Character or Faction Based: Faction based. That said I'll probably be focussing on a few characters of note (from my end).
Detailed Description:

11 years ago an unexplainable event tore across different realities and ripped dozens of nations from the home worlds, forever changing the flow of history in but the blink of an eye. This all happened in a matter of minutes, and to this day there is not scientific explanation as to how and why such a thing occurred. When the madness subsided, the displaced nations quickly found themselves facing a new reality, and oh boy nobody saw it coming. Despite differences in technology, diplomatic procedure, and other geo-political aspects people usually overlook, trade and diplomatic relations were largely reestablished by each country within the year... and then war broke out.

It came under no surprise that the fascist Nazis led by the surprisingly buff and tall Hitler would join forces with the dreadful Draka slavers and a handful of other cronies (IRL Mussolini's Italy and some odd Swedish Nazis amongst those) as the Axis Powers in a combined attempt to crush the free world. After all, Hitler was still Hitler, and the Draka secretly had plans to enslave everyone. Naturally, the old Allies of Britain, France, and a few others alongside the Trotksy's USSR opposed the Axis. The subsequent bloodbath engulfed much of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, resulting in the deaths of over 83 million people and total annihilation of the Axis (if you join the discord the actual full-on timeline is included). The 2nd Eurasian War (or simply WW2), as it came to be known, was undeniably the single costliest conflict in human history.

Now that the war is out of the way, the world once again looks towards a (hopefully) brighter future and prepares to relax... or so that's how things should be going.

Instead, the world gets to fight over ragnite and oil prices while the foremost superpower begins experiencing major turbulence... never mind some other things lurking on the horizon. Either way, 1949 CE is shaping up to be quite the year, and it is up to you to guide your country of choice through the madness that this new world presents.

I’d be very interested in taking my usual Northern European spot, provided that it runs on the forum and not on Discord. Since this is an ISOT... some kind of post-apocalyptic concept, maybe? :p How much leeway are you giving for faction concepts? Do they have to be scientifically plausible or can I pull from fantasy/science fiction universes?

Given how my past ISOTs (from experience) have had a tendency to faceplant, this RP actually focusses more on the "post ISOT" element: ie a lot of history is already predetermined up to a certain point (and there's an actual set time frame for the RP, with sequels taken into consideration). TLDR it's a cold war nation game with an ISOT backdrop (which still plays an important role).

The general theme of this RP is "cold war" so there's probably no extra craziness going on anywhere. That said on the tech side of things we have stuff from Valkyria Chronicles (and I fully intend to introduce Red Alert madness in the future) so honestly uhh, things aren't fully realistic either.

Fair nuff. To be honest this will definitely be different from the old ISOTs I ran. If it works or not... honestly we’ll see.

Actually hmmm, due to a lack of enthusiasm from some others I know, Death of Trotsky will be shelved for now. I shall think of a more open, thematic ISOT based nation / faction RP and work on that instead.

Question; how well do medieval style fantasy RP’s do here? Guilds, dragons, burning cities, and mages and such...

That's what I was thinking, some country that doesn't speak English, like Sweden or Korea for example.
