Kamooko had never been so full of foreign dignitaries before. It was only months ago that Ameria and their neighbouring city-state of Stallenbourg had joined the pact together and started pushing for a more outward and hands-on approach to the issues of Markion. The small island nation of Isae now looked to sign the Kamooko accords. The Isaen government had little to say on their reasons for joining but many have speculated that their sudden commitment to the pact is partly because of more recent aggression from Sevevill against island nations in the Urilasian strait, one of Markion's most important trade routes. Others have simply suggested that Kamooko Pact offers much stability to its member nations through trade and orderly governing, and Isae merely wants a piece of it.
However, as talks were taking place by higher-up officials, the Joseon Vedoric Protector Empire, or JVP, from the Aels region took a keen interest in the Kamooko Pact. Many member states took it as a surprise that not only a nation from a completely different region was looking to join the Pact, but an Empire. Albeit the JVP was not entirely imperialistic anymore but this did ruffle feathers within the KP's council chambers. After days and almost two weeks of debate, a decision was finally made to allow the JVP into the Pact however there would be much KP oversight throughout the Vedoric Empire's government in order to keep weary officials in Kamooko at bay.
Times were changing in the halls of Turtleback Palace. The Kamooko Pact was once seen as a small annoyance by the Empires of Markion. Made of two and then three nations for a time, but with perseverance and a little bit of providence perhaps, the Pact has grown massively and even drawn on new allies far and beyond the reaches of Markion. As the administration of the Pact grows to accommodate these new arrivals, officially and later broadcasted on nearly all news stations the nations of Isae and JVP had joined the Kamooko Pact in name at least. The future looks bright under order, commerce and good governance.

After entering the meeting room with several others and setting up everything, finally, after some greetings and general small talk the true discussion began. Li was poised and direct. "Today we are here to discuss Isae's position when it comes to its military contributions to the Kamooko Defence Command. I understand that your nation's military small, barely ten thousand troops with supporting elements as well as special operations in addition to naval and air assets, all built around national defence. A fine military for a nation of your size." Li moved papers around and smiled with his mouth, "However I suppose the real question is how much of this is Isae willing to give? We understand that not every nation can supply millions of reservists at a moment's notice like Durradon can, but keep in mind that one must do more to give than to receive." He finished and awaited a reply.
