Kohnhead Domestic Sports Newswire

Postby Kohnhead » Tue Jun 09, 2020 6:49 pm

Hello, and Welcome to the Domestic Sportsworld of Kohnhead. Kohnhead is currently operating two leagues the KFA (Kohnhead Football Association) and the KBL (Kohnhead Basketball League) with no plans to add any more leagues on this newswire. Please do not post in this thread unless you are a mod going about your duties, thanks.

KFA:
The KFA (Kohnhead Football Association) has been around for seven seasons in Kohnhead, but for the first time it will now be actually recorded in this post and in the International Domestic Soccer competitions. Because of this the first season recorded on here will be referred to as season 1. There are currently 16 teams in the top division with hopes to expand the number up to 20 at some point in the coming years because the sport of foootball/soccer is growing immensely in Kohnhead due to how well the National Team has been doing. There is a League 2 and currently two teams can get relegated or promoted to/from the second division which also has 16 teams. It was originally called the KFL for Kohnhead Football League but upon learning that there is another (better) KFL the name was changed to the KFA.

The Kohnhead Youth League (U-18) is now officially underway in season 2. It originally started out as a 46 game monster league but changes started in season 3. It is now a 23 game season, all games are 60 minutes and played on weekends in a central location (changes each weekend). Each weekend teams will play 4 games until the season ends. A player gets assigned to a Youth League team from a younger academy and is on that Youth League team until they are called up to their main team or age out, during the offseason players will train with their U-21 academies and may play exhibition matches against each other.

The Sodapark Kohnhead Cup is starting in season 3 and took all 24 teams from the main KFA pyramid and the top 8 Kohnhead Youth League teams from the year before. Starting in Season 4 and beyond all 32 teams in the pyramid are the ones participating meaning no Youth League teams can make it. They will be randomly entered into a 32 team bracket where they will play single elimination until there is one champion remaining who will be given a spot in the Cup Winner's Cup competition.

KBL
The KBL is a brand new league and unlike the KFA does not have a history that isn't on this newswire. It currently has 8 teams which were assigned 12 random players to get the original teams but there are plans to go up to 24 teams in the future. At this point the top 4 teams make the semis which are best of 5 series meaning the first team to 3 wins moves on.

KBL Results
Year 1: Swisston City Cadillacs, Goldberg Guardians, Lithrop Lobsters/Dawson Dingos

The KFL Premier League

There are currently 12 teams in the KFL, here are the starting XI, and more info about each

1. Kohnhead City FC:
GK Jackson Newcastle #1 Age: 34 (M)
RB Mitchell Traverse #15 Age: 25 (M)
CB Allison Ruterford #71 Age: 17 (F)
CB Clark Levers #76 Age: 27 (M)
LB Krystal Munchin #51 Age: 22 (F)
RM Ida Cogginter #41 Age: 27 (F)
CM Sophie Johnson #7 Age: 18 (F)
LM Marcus Whitford #9 Age: 35 (M)
AM Jonathon Waterson #15 Age: 22 (M)
(C) CF Aaron Korkson #91 Age: 22 (M)
CF Erin Maltos #10 Age: 22 (F)

Info: Kohnhead City has the money, the history, the talent, and are the heavy favorites to win the Premier League again just like normal. They are hated by most teams for having money, and the best talent. 4 players in the starting lineup play on the National team and all are starters, Sophie Johnson, and Allison Ruterford are on their way. Maltos and Korkson are the two best strikers in Kohnhead, in my opinion and this team scores goals. They are the heavy favorites to win the title and are know to be rivals with FC Kohnface City.

Jerseys: Gold and Silver shirts with white pants
Formation: 4-3-1-2
Coach: Percy Yordrey (49) a master tactician and is known to be one of the best coaches in Kohnhead
Stadium: Kohnhead City Park (47,000) and it is the home of the National Team but underwent construction around qualifying for the World Cup so that's why Orange Bull Arena was used. It sells out for almost every game.

2. FC Kohnface City:
GK Bradley Watter #18 Age: 29 (M)
RB Georgia Manter #24 Age: 18 (F)
CB Adam Orger #29 Age: 30 (M)
(C) LB Nicholas Radison #14 Age: 23 (M)
RDM Martha Doure #13 Age: 32 (F)
CDM Liam Douglass #20 Age: 26 (M)
LDM Nathan Jarrus #15 Age: 20 (M)
AM Ronald Arlond #5 Age: 29 (M)
RF Audrey Henderson #9 Age: 21 (F)
CF Whitney Arter #10 Age: 26 (F)
LF Edward Torres #11 Age: 29 (M)

Info: FC Kohnface City have a good mixture of veteran talent and youngsters. Overall I'd say they are less talented than Kohnhead City FC, and the two are big rivals, Kohnface City is the second largest city to Kohnhead City. Kohnface City has been the second best in the league to Kohnhead CIty. Derby day between the two is always fun to watch. Radison and Henderson are both on the National Team and are both pretty young with time to grow. Jarrus and Manter are both exciting players to watch for the future. This team has less money to spend than Kohnhead City so they need to make the best of it.

Jerseys: Dark Blue and Red with Red Shorts
Formation: 3-3-1-3
Coach: Eliza Monter (52) a first year coach with the program who was a hire out of left field, no one saw this coming. It could be one and done if the team doesn't perform to expectations
Stadium: Jordan Street Stadium (41,000) although it never sells out and attendance is a problem with such a large stadium, another reason with the hatred for Kohnhead City FC.
Image

3. Barnley FC
GK Emily Evans #1 Age: 21 (F)
(C) RB Caroline Prius-Leonard #76 Age: 31 (F)
CB Miranda Atkinson #51 Age: 18 (F)
CB Arnold Donaldson #23 Age: 22 (M)
LB Roddy Callahart #20 Age: 25 (M)
RM Connor Crarter #29 Age: 24 (M)
CM Charles Laker #54 Age: 19 (M)
LM Madison James #14 Age: 27 (F)
RF John Smith #09 Age: 20 (M)
CF Harry Richman #77 Age: 31 (M)
LF Martin Van Porter #11 Age: 26 (M)

Info: This Barnley team could surprise some people, there are known to be the third best team who are very good at developing young talent, two great examples being Atkinson and Laker. They have 4 players who are on the National team including three starters and struggle financially. This team could do great if they only had more money. They have a lot of players with high upside and if they make a title run I will not be surprised. They lack the high end talent but make it up with great coaching, chemistry, and more.

Jerseys: Purple and Yellow with Yellow Pants
Formation: 4-3-3
Coach: Elijah Godwin (47), Godwin is someone who has gotten great performances off of not a lot of money to spend and thus lower quality players. He constantly has to deal with his top players getting sold to the larger clubs but the team continues to play well.
Stadium: The Old Square (14,000), a stadium with not too many seats, sells out some of the time but they don't have enough money to buy a better one.

4. Philtront Pioneers
GK Bertha Sanders #1 Age: 20 (F)
RB James Hilford #26 Age: 28 (M)
CB Lauren Addams #18 Age: 24 (F)
CB Newt Scranton #29 Age: 30 (M)
LB Mohamed Shaker #12 Age: 33 (M)
DM Hannah Horsford #2 Age: 29 (F)
DM Eric Ofofor #14 Age: 18 (M)
(C) AM Linus Rallyton #10 Age: 24 (M)
AM Walter Moody #17 Age: 31 (M)
CF Jamaal Davis #11 Age: 22 (M)
CF Richard Robinson #9 Age: 32 (M)

Info: Linus Rallyton is known as the best player in Kohnhead and has carried Philtront to their best heights in their history. Rallyton is likely to be sold soon as he has wanted to move to the bigger clubs. Horsford is also a starter for the National team and is the second best player on the team. This team can only go as far as Rallyton can take them, and a top three is definitely in the realm of possibility. Like Barnley they also have financial struggles which is why they are expected to sell Rallyton.

Jerseys: Pink and Black with Pink Pants
Formation: 4-2-2-2
Coach: Bo Treter (52), is known as a good motivator who can get the best out of players. He is liked by his players but caters to his stars perhaps a bit too much especially Rallyton.
Stadium: Anthony M Delva Stadium (20,000), has trouble filling seats as futbol is not too popular in Philtront. It has done better though with the emergence of Rallyton and the team doing better.
Image

5.Swisston City FC
GK Abner Warton #2 Age: 20 (M)
RB Corn Munich #20 Age: 28 (M)
CB Claire Corton #24 Age: 25 (F)
CB Dylan Vargas #23 Age: 29 (M)
LB Julia Beerson #22 Age: 21 (F)
RM Yohann Bassi #26 Age: 28 (M)
CM Matthew Morgan #18 Age: 19 (M)
(C) LM Gillian Dinderton #15 Age: 34 (F)
RF Mildred Boler #8 Age: 28 (F)
CF Rafa Santos #10 Age: 17 (M)
LF Winston Fredricks #9 Age: 25 (M)

Info: Swisston is a small town by the sea full of hard working people and they have a very loyal fan base which appeals more to the working class of Kohnheadians. They have been growing in popularity and are probably the third most popular team. They currently have two National Team players who both play defense in Dylan Vargas and Claire Corton.

Jerseys: Red and White with Red Pants
Formation: 4-3-3
Coach: Bart Jones (62), he's been with the club for its entire lifetime but has hinted at retirement in the next couple of seasons. His job has been in question as this team has not been producing to their standards in the past couple of seasons.
Stadium: Patterson Oil Arena (38,000), a large stadium that has the fourth highest capacity in the league. They have a loyal fan base, and on occasion will sell out.
Image

6. Northern FC
(C) GK Peter Landry #1 Age: 35 (M)
RWB Nicholas Evanter #20 Age: 32 (M)
CB Brogan Broadsie #30 Age: 17 (M)
CB Ali Karper #33 Age: 22 (F)
CB Christopher Belle #14 Age: 29 (M)
LWB Juliet Jordan #55 Age: 30 (F)
RM Heather Horsford #2 Age: 24 (F)
CM Al Torgan #21 Age: 26 (M)
CM Emma Balmer #61 Age: 29 (F)
LM Toni Clauson #72 Age: 24 (F)
CF Lauren Starver #10 Age: 22 (F)

Info: Northern FC has two National team players in Torgan and Balmer. They are the northern most of the teams where it's pretty cold and can snow periodically so conditions can often be hostile. This along with a rowdy fan base gives Northern FC one of the best home field advantages. Northern FC have been on the brink of relegation the past two years and due to the efforts of Torgan and Balmer they have managed an 8th and a 9th place finish. Can they stay up?

Jerseys: Forest Green and White with White Pants
Formation: 4-5-1
Coach: Vernon Paltridge (70), Paltridge signed a one year deal before the season and has said it will be his last season coaching. He would like to end by keeping this team up and is known for getting lots out of his players and has emphasized the importance of the one striker at top in Lauren Starver.
Stadium: Rosaline Blizzard Memorial Stadium (16,000), and is known to have the rowdiest fan base in Kohnhead by far. The fans at Blizzard are very loyal to the team win or lose but will let you know how they think of the team (usually negatively).
Image

7. Nickelson FC
GK Madison Richards #72 Age: 30 (F)
RB Maggie Ekani #50 Age: 23 (F)
CB Clint Renner #42 Age: 28 (M)
CB Dillon Roan #67 Age: 32 (F)
LB Malachi Waters #30 Age: 24 (M)
RM Brittany Hildril #25 Age: 25 (F)
CM Isabelle Bradford #7 Age: 19 (F)
CM Timothy Warden #12 Age: 29 (M)
LM Robinson Caldry #9 Age: 21 (M)
(C) CF Griffin Pheonix-Anderson #10 Age: 33 (M)
CF Roberto Morgan #11 Age: 32 (M)

Info: In recent times Nickelson have struggled barely getting promoted back to the Premier League last season. They were much better the first couple seasons the league was in existence but have fallen on hard times. They do not have a lot of fans, and ownership although having a lot of money is very hands off and doesn't really spend it on the team. They have a very large stadium but struggle even to get it half full on match days. The drop to the "B" division two years ago really hurt this team.

Jerseys: Orange and Black with Black pants
Coach: Kyle Schwartz (45), was an assistant on last years team. The head coach from last year moved on to Porter to take over their job. Schwartz is unproven and didn't have that much influence on last year's squad.
Formation: 4-4-2
Stadium: H and G Mobile Arena (45,000), again as I was saying earlier will not even get 20,000 for each game, and while it's a very modern stadium people just don't want to see Nickelson FC.
Image

(note this was on opening day of the stadium six years ago that's why it's full)

8. Real Dawson
(C) GK Georgia Summers #18 Age: 20 (F)
RB Wanda Warter #23 Age: 18 (F)
CB Jim Former #20 Age: 30 (M)
LB Yuri Atal #29 Age: 27 (M)
DM Henry Barson #71 Age: 24 (M)
DM Barty Wutur #17 Age: 26 (M)
RM Suzanna Barter #60 Age: 17 (F)
CM Sebastian Kramer #15 Age: 32 (M)
LM Jordan Korkson #22 Age: 17 (M)
CF Corinne Andrews #9 Age: 33
CF Petunia Pallard #10 Age: 21

Info: Real Dawson are on a team on the rise. They got promoted from the "B" division and since then due to great coaching, player development, and a very good youth academy they have become a team to fear. While they have no players on the National Team by next World Cup I expect Barter, Korkson, and Warter to make the team and Summers is a candidate to replace Newcastle when he retires. They have a decent amount of cash but are a very popular team.

Jerseys: White and Purple with Purple Shorts
Coach: Elizabeth Royan (46), she has transformed this team into one to be feared and they are expected to be competing for the title in the next two years. She has rejected multiple offers from FC Kohnface City among others who want her to coach them. She is strict on the players but is loved by the team.
Formation: 3-5-2
Stadium: Boggerton Arena (29,000), a mid sized stadium that due to the large fanbase will sell out most of its games. Real Dawson are currently looking into upgrading either by building a new one or expanding this stadium.
Image

9. Bingham City
GK Kelly Blueford #2 Age: 25 (F)
RB Danica Marvin #18 Age: 20 (F)
(C) CB Patrick Poulard #19 Age: 37 (M)
CB Taylor Rodar #15 Age: 19 (F)
LB Paul Brotor #17 Age: 26 (M)
RM Meghan Dailford #62 Age: 28 (F)
CM Nick Auretor #25 Age: 29 (M)
LM Crayton Bodeur #87 Age: 32 (M)
CAM Marlon Bumper #7 Age: 27 (M)
CF Landon Crast #11 Age: 28 (M)
CF Lola Humphery #10 Age: 23 (F)

Info: Bingham City are one of those teams that will be fighting to stay up, with their best player being Taylor Rodar who has been sought after from other clubs. She is expected to leave after the season ends and will be the driving force in trying to keep Bingham afloat this season. Bingham have struggled to make an impact and don't really have a fan base, because they are located extremely close to Barnley who are the more popular club. The two have a rivalry although it has been one sided as of late.

Jerseys: Blue and Green with Dark Green Pants
Formation: 4-3-1-2
Coach: Gustaff Borham (62), an experienced coach who likes defense more than offense, I'm not sure he's the best man for the job, he hasn't proven he can keep this club at a high level, look for them to move on if they get relegated or get close to it.
Stadium: Bingham Park (21,000), a smaller park but despite this they have trouble filling the seats due to the low popularity. On derby day though the Barnley fans in the area crowd it.
Image

10. Porter City
GK Amber Washington #1 Age: 20 (F)
RD Sabrina Jortan #20 Age: 25 (F)
CD Nicki Baton #27 Age: 29 (F)
CD Natalie Wringle #17 Age: 33 (F)
LD Morty Cirter #13 Age: 21 (M)
RM Alby Bunton #6 Age: 24 (M)
CM Gertrude Mossy #8 Age: 26 (F)
LM Jeff Yunbet #14 Age: 18 (M)
(C) CAM Austin Allafin #27 Age: 30 (M)
CAM Justin Jeffery #9 Age: 28
CF Elsa Joser #10 Age: 27

Info: Porter City are a mid table team but there is optimism they can push for top 4 or top 5 this year. They don't have too much top end talent but they are a consistent team with a small but loyal fan base in the south of Kohnhead. Porter City is of course on the coast of Kohnhead and this team has a budding star in Jeff Yunbet.

Jerseys: Teal and White with Black shorts
Formation: 4-3-2-1
Coach: Anna Ureger (52), was hired after she got Nickelson back up to the Premier League even with the odds stacked against the team. How much credit can be given to her, but expectations are a top 5 finish for Porter City.
Stadium: Bank of Kohnhead Park (12,000), a very small stadium which sells a lot of tickets due to the loyal, southern fan base this team has. However it is a small fan base so the team plays in this 30 year old out of date small stadium but have been hoping to upgrade in recent seasons.
Image

11. FC Wangor
GK Emma Driver #1 Age: 26 (F)
RB Adrian Burruw #17 Age: 21 (M)
CB Donald Burruw #18 Age: 26 (M)
CB Lionel Adert #56 Age: 31 (M)
LB Sophia Bertua #25 Age: 17 (F)
(C) RM Bernardo Aguilo #12 Age: 29 (M)
CM Carl Engler #8 Age: 24 (M)
LM Natasha Spencer #60 Age: 19 (F)
RF Rita Brown #11 Age: 35 (F)
CF Butler Washt #10 Age: 27 (M)
LF Jaylon Hassan #9 Age: 23 (M)

Info: FC Wangor is an expansion team, one of two who will be starting in the first division. Because of this acquiring a fan base might be difficult but Wangor have been put in the soccer starved Western part of the Country. Due to this they already have a rapidly growing fan base and I think they will quickly ascend to the top level.

Jerseys: Orange and Yellow with White pants
Formation: 4-3-3
Coach: Bella Brown (37), a young recently retired player Brown spent her playing days with Kohnhead City FC and was the star on the team for their first couple years of existence. She's been retired for two years and got into coaching last year before being asked to come aboard this team.
Stadium: King TV Stadium (27,000), a brand new stadium built for this team that's modern and high tech despite having a lower capacity than some of the others.
Image

12. Dawson Diamonds
GK Hope Gerret #18 Age: 23 (F)
(C) LB Gretchen Busty #14 Age: 29 (F)
CB Gertrude Dertu #56 Age: 28 (F)
RB Marcus Joret #5 Age: 22 (M)
DM Launa Violet #16 Age: 19 (F)
DM Rodriguez Sporet #2 Age: 30 (M)
RM Cassidy Weerden #7 Age: 22 (F)
LM Butch Klaggen #12 Age: 23 (M)
AM Dustin Astro #9 Age: 32 (M)
CF Gabrielle Serty #11 Age: 22 (F)
CF Dana Fresh #10 Age: 26 (F)

Info: The second expansion team before season 1 was put into a less than optimal place than the first. Dawson already has a team in Real Dawson and sure derby day will be fun but this is not a team in a good place to succeed. The talent is eh, and the location is not good. The Dawson market is big enough for one team not two.

Jerseys: Blue and White with Red pants
Formation: 3-2-3-2
Coach: Aiden McDonald
Stadium: Dawson Construction Company Field (13,000), a tiny field that has been put in a not optimal spot.

Dawson Diamonds 9 11 2 3 6 8 13 Relegated
Bingham City 8 11 2 2 7 8 15 Relegated

Key takeaways:
1. No real surprises at the top of the table as Kohnhead City FC was projected to dominate and they have with 25 points top of the table.
2. Their rival FC Kohnface City are down in 10th one point out of the relegation zone having only scored 4 goals in 11 matches. Not looking good for them, despite being the projected second place team by many.
3. Of the two expansion teams FC Wangor are doing a lot better than Dawson Diamonds as predicted by us.
4. Barnley led by Miranda Atkinson who has the highest average match ratings have done quite well sitting in second. They were caught by Kohnhead 5. City FC recently for first but could look to mount a title race.
6. Swisston and Real Dawson are both doing better than expected, with Jordan Korkson scoring two more goals than his brother Aaron.
7. Kohnhead City FC defeated FC Kohnface City on derby day.

Golden Boot Winner
Corinne Andrews and Jordan Korkson (A tie)
Real Dawson and Real Dawson

Key Takeaways
1. Barnley was by far the best team in the league, as they had the best goal differential, and most wins. It is their second ever win, but first since Kohnhead went international. They had the league MVP in Miranda Atkinson, Richman and Van Porter both sat at eight goals tied for third, and they scored the most goals in the league, and allowed the least. Truly a dominating season.

2. Kohnhead City FC will be disappointed with the results as they even held a large lead after defeating Barnley in gameweek 18 but they choked. The second Kohnhead derby ended 2-2. Kohnhead City will be spending money this offseason, and are rumored to be trying to acquire Atkinson, or Linus Rallyton. Despite a second place finish, their goal differential showed they were not worth that. They also have to be worried about Jackson Newcastle who may be retiring after this domestic season.

3. Real Dawson proved that they can contend with a terrific season that saw them finish just four points off of first. Corinne Andrews and Jordan Korkson will both be sought after, as will Suzanna Barter. If they manage to retain at least two of them, and continue to grow and get better, I could see this team really pushing for a championship next year.

4. Porter City played very well in the second half of the year going from 8th at the midpoint to 4th and a spot in the Challenger's Cup knocking ut Swisston City in the process. In other important news, Porter City has been bought by billionaire Walter Paine which will give them money to spend and a new stadium will be started on.

5. Nickelson FC had a very surprising season beating out Philtront and Swisston City who I thought they were not as good as. Griffin Pheonix-Anderson and Robinson Caldry really made this a team to be worried about offensively, but struggles defensively kept them out of 4th place by a point. Kyle Schwartz really thrived as a first year head coach, and this team will hope t do better next season as Pheonix-Anderson starts to think about retiring.

6. Swisston City FC fell out of third place at the halfway mark down to 6th. The big thing was they went winless in their last seven games of the season dropping them 6 points off of the Challenger's Cup cutoff. A team with two main defensive stars in Vargas, and Corton really struggled defensively which was surprising. The major bright spot was 17 year old Rafa Santos who played extremely well especially for his age.

7. Philtront Pioneers had a poor season by their standards. 5th at the halfway, just two points outside of the top four they slumped to a 7th place finish. Linus Rallyton set to turn 25 and about to enter his prime, is arguably the best player in Kohnhead. He had a down season as did the entire team and now he wants out. Could a move to Kohnhead City be in the cards, or will he move to another league?

8. FC Kohnface City have to take a long reflection this off season over what went wrong. They were favorites to compete for a title but an awful run at the beginning of the season led to a poor 8th place finish. Since Monter was a first year coach they waited until the end of the year to sack her and are now looking for a new coach. This team will need to carefully make their next moves if they want to keep competing, and if they hope to retain Radison and Henderson who may both be on the move.

9. FC Wangor, didn't live up to their expectations as an expansion team that could immediately compete but they are still here and will be looking to do a lot better next season now with a year of experience under their belts.

10. Dawson Diamonds were the top predicted team to go down this year, and there was good reason for that. But they managed to stay up by a solid six points proving they can stay in the top league. They did get smashed in both of the Dawson derbys to Real Dawson so there is that but this year they proved the doubters wrong to an extent.

11. Northern FC will head into the offseason with an uncertain future. Never before have they been relegated and reports are already swirling that both Torgan and Balmer want out of a division two club. Peter Landry was abysmal in goal allowing 36 goals by far the worst mark in the league. This is a place the club has never been before. Starver also played well and we might see her leave too. We already knew Paltridge would be retiring as coach so they didn't need to sack him and their hunt for the next head coach begins.

12. Bingham City were a long shot to stay up, and unfortunately for them they got dead last. Meghan Dailford was a bright spot on the team, and Taylor Rodar proved she could play at a high level and will be eagerly eyeing a move to a bigger club come the transfer window. I'm going to be honest, I can't see this team getting promoted next year, maybe they will surprise me.

At the conclusion of season 1 FC Rockaton and New Ballow United will be going up to the Premier League while Northern FC and Bingham City will drop down to the "B" division. Congratulations to Barnley FC for winning the premier league and FC Rockaton for winning the "B" division.

Transfer Window Grades and Info

By: Marcus Green

1) Barnley FC
Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Brandon Irving ST 22 SNL Walstreim Lions SNL 1.1

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Arnold Donaldson CB 23 KND Vidial Alchemists MRN 1.5
John Smith RF 21 KND South Saints ETN 2.5

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Axel Korborg ST 31 SLL Loconstead United ETN
Sal Osbourne CB 25 NOV FC Portus B NOV

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Overall Grade: B-
Analysis: What were the defending champs going to do in this situation? Barnley have been known to deal with cash problems and with an extension of league MVP 18 year old Miranda Atkinson occuring their options were limited financially. So they had to sell two young and upcoming youngsters in Donaldson and Smith. The signing of Brandon Irving someone who is a NT player on South Newlandia should help ease the loss of Smith, and Alex Korborg on a free transfer will start in place of Van Porter who is relegated to the bench. The signing of Osbourne on a free is easily a downgrade and should be considered a short term replacement but due to financial constraints he has to start. Considering their situation the team that won in their first ICIF Champions League preliminary round should be set to try and repeat.

2) Kohnhead City FC
Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Hannah Boyd GK 21 XAN Delano Tech XAN 1.4
Josiah Randall CM 15 KND New Ballow United KND 1.2

Transfers Out:
N/A

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Pedro Vasquez LM 25 TJU -- --

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Retirements:
Name Position Age Nationality
Jackson Newcastle GK 35 KND
Marcus Whitford LM 36 KND

Grade: B+
Analysis: Kohnhead City learned of Jackson's pending retirement just after the season ended, as he alerted them of his plans before everyone knew. Their main priority heading into this off season was finding Newcastle's replacement. They hoped to have found that in Hannah Boyd the 21 year old Xannerian keeper. Whitford's retirement was announced after they had already found his replacement in Pedro Vasquez from TJUN-ia our NSTT rivals. The signing of Josiah Randall to the academy is a good move and they expect him to start getting playing time in the next three seasons. Boyd in my opinion is a substantial downgrade so I can't really give this team an A but I think they should be the favorites.

3) Real Dawson
Transfers In:
N/A

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Henry Barson DM 25 KND FC Rockaton KND .45

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Echeberri Urbe CM 18 ASG Gesterlake FC ASG
Anton Carver DM 25 XAN Myrtle Wanderers XAN

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Grade: D+
Analysis: I'm going to be honest, this wasn't a good offseason for Real Dawson. Carver is sort of an upgrade I guess, and Urbe is young with high upside yet overall I'm not sure how much of a difference the two can make. Real Dawson might be a one and done in ICIF competitions because I don't think they did enough to retain their form from last year. Many think it was more luck than actual talent that got them there but maybe I shouldn't doubt what Royan can do.

4) Porter City
Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Ayli Galdra CB 22 SRS Brantisvogan SRS 2.5

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Sabrina Jortan RD 26 KND FC Wangor KND 1.6

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Seb Leemrijsen CB 17 KOR Ysbeer Voetbalschool KOR
Benjamin Andrei DF 18 ZRH Porto Nowi Athletik ZRH

Free Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality
Natalie Wringle CB 34 KND -- --

Grade: A-
Analysis: Porter City had one goal this offseason, and that was to upgrade the suspect defense. They like where the offense is at and while Elsa Joser might not be the best option they are in a good spot offensively. Jortan wanted a new contract, Porter weren't ready to give it to her and so they sold her to Wangor. They also weren't confident in Baton or Wringle and so they brought in Benjamin Andrei and Seb Leemrijsen to help rebuild the backs. They also surprisingly were able to buy Ayli Galdra from Brantisvogan for 2.5 million which will take this defense to the next level. Overall it was a very good offseason for them and their defense which is why they have such a high grade.

5) Nickelson FC
Transfers In:
N/A

Transfers Out:
N/A

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Philip Gurero CB 23 SNL Ruditown Guards SNL

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

University Graduates In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Thomas Stratford CF 20 KND Kohnhead City University KND

Grade: B+
Analysis: The signing of Gurero will help as Dillon Roan moves to the bench. Gurero will be an instant upgrade but the biggest move came from Thomas Stratford graduating from the University and back to his boyhood club of Nickelson. He and GPA up top could be lethal next season especially as GPA starts to grow frustrated with Nickelson failing to have made any ICIF competition last season. Nickelson were one point out of ICIF last seaso and will be looking to leapfrog someone like Real Dawson to get into the top four.

6) Swisston City FC
Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Mixer FW ??? SYL Kirkham Appliances SYL 3.25

Transfers Out:
N/A

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Ruaridh Crow CM/LM 31 AUD Mantlegrove NPH

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Retirements:
Name Position Age Nationality
Gillian Dinderton LM 35 KND

Grade: B+
Analysis: Ruaridh Crow was brought in to replace the retiring Dinderton at left midfielder, Crow isn't the best player but he has experience and in my opinion is a small upgrade over Dinderton. Mixer who is an appliance and we don't know Mixer's age, but Mixer will be a massive upgrade over Winston Fredricks at the forward position. Swisston City are a team to watch next season as they try to make a push for the top four and an ICIF spot.

7) Philtront Pioneers
Transfers In:
N/A

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Linus Rallyton MC 25 KND FC Yassaca SRS 5

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Aleks Madsen ST 20 KOR Straudum Sportacademie KOR

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Grade: C-
Analysis: Listen Philtront were in a tough spot with Rallyton, as he wanted a chance to contend in a higher league and he gets that with FC Yassaca in the Squornshelan Remnant States, as Yassaca believes Rallyton could be the missing piece in their midfield that leads them to the next level. They got 5 million for the best player in Kohnhead who was relatively unhappy and wanted to leave, that's a good thing. They brought Aleks Madsen in to replace Walter Moody as they switch formations to the 4-3-1-2 that the National team is rumored to be studying for the upcoming World Cup, that's also good, it's just they believe that they can internally replace the best player in Kohnhead with 21 year old Mindy Callax. I think they should have made more of an effort to replace Rallyton with 5 million sitting around.

8 FC Kohnface City
Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Florian Zinna GK 30 MAC Zapster Thunde MAC 1.1
Varci Morgo CB 23 JOV Ninhein United JOV 2.25

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Bradley Watter GK 30 KND Relton United KND .5

Free Transfers In:

Free Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality
Liam Douglass CDM/CM 27 KND Sporting New Arch XAN

Managers In:
Name Age Nationality Preferred Formation(s)
Wlad Heink 50 ZRH 4-3-3, 3-4-3

Managers Fired:
Name Age Nationality Preferred Formation(s) New Club Nationality
Eliza Monter 53 KND 3-3-1-3 -- --

Grade: A-
Analysis: Despite a season that many would say was completely awful by FC Kohnface City many thought Radison, Henderson, and more some thought they might bail. But no, they like where the club's at and believe last season was a fluke. Radison said he believes the new signings could change stuff and make them better. Their first move was to complete the first transfer in the history of Kohnhead signing Florian Zinna from where else but Maccian. Watter the starter last year got upset and demanded to be moved, saying he didn't care where so he was shipped off to Relton United in the B division where he will be the starter.

9) FC Wangor
Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Sabrina Jortan RD 26 KND Porter City KND 1.6

Transfers Out:
N/A

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Jason Merrick ST 27 BRE Francisca Orient BRE

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Retirements:
Name Position Age Nationality
Rita Brown RF 36 KND

Grade: D+
Analysis: There isn't much to say about FC Wangor, they were above relegation last year by six points, and have barely made any changes to the squad. They signed Jason Merrick from Francisca Orient to replace the retiring Rita Brown and that's all. It's pretty disappointing considering how many other teams improved a lot and they stayed pretty much off of the free agent market. I can't say I'm expecting relegation but it wouldn't be surprising.

10) Dawson Diamonds
Transfers In:
N/A

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Dustin Astro AM 32 KND Real Barnley KND .37
Marcus Joret RB 23 KND New Ballow United KND .80

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Inatz Bariazarra DM 21 ASG Urbizania Wanderers ASG
Mallorie Kellock RB 18 EFL Thawmont YFC EFL
Markus Schultz CM 22 ZRH Hüelhunde FK ZRH
Josef Ziwanić CB 20 ZRH Beginn-Davn ZRH

Free Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality
Rodriguez Sporet DM 31 KND FC Rüsselsheim SNL

Grade: B+
Analysis: The Dawson Diamonds strategy was to go after the young, raw, unproven, free agents on the market. All four will be instant starters and hopefully a major difference makers as the Diamonds hope to stay up for a second season. Everyone thought they were a team destined for relegation but they have survived and now may be in a better position than their other expansion team counterparts FC Wangor.

11) FC Rockaton

Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Henry Barson DM 25 KND Real Dawson KND .45

Transfers Out:
N/A

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Olly Evans GK 21 SNL Ratzupalfu Rhinos SNL

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Grade: B-
Analysis: The recently promoted FC Rockaton will have to fight hard for survival this season. The two moves they did make while not a lot of stuff will greatly help the team out as Olly Evans figures to be the day one starter, and Barson will slot in immediately into a top player role coming off of a third placed finish with Real Dawson. They didn't look to good in the Liga B Championship but hey if they survive the first season, they will be in a very good place.

12) New Ballow United
Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality Price (mil)
Marcus Joret RB 23 KND Dawson Diamonds KND .80

Transfers Out:
N/A

Free Transfers In:
Name Position Age Nationality Former Club Nationality
Erika Cook LB 26 HVY Knights of Briarcliff HVY
Hinata Akibahara CB 21 HIN Arctic Dream Shopping Mall YFC HIN

Free Transfers Out:
N/A

Grade: A+
Analysis: Some may be surprised with the grade I have given this team but in reality the signings of Cook, and Akibahara were masterfully done. Cook is out here as a NT player in Havynwilde and Abibahara has a high floor and is only 21. The signing of Marcus Joret for 800k will also immediately help this team as they firmly believe defense is what will keep them up this season and I believe they made all the right moves during the transfer window.

13) Northern FC
Transfers In:
N/A

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Emma Balmer MC 30 KND Galra ERM 1.75
Al Torgan MC 27 KND Capital FC SYL 2.5

Free Transfers In:
N/A

Free Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality
Peter Landry GK 36 KND Cirelbourne United KOR

Grade: C+
Analysis: It was obvious once we learned Northern were relegated by a substantial margin that Torgan, and Balmer were gone it was just a matter of to whom. Northern did a good job with the selling of Torgan refusing to sell him for 1.5 mil before getting Capital FC to offer up 2.5 mil. Peter Landry was a major liability in goal last season and says he has no plans to retire soon but is that really true? Torgan and Balmer will both be replaced internally as this team will try to get back to the Premier League.

14) Bingham City
Transfers In:
N/A

Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality Price (mil)
Taylor Rodar CB 20 KND New Capetown Falcons TAE 3
Meghan Dailford RM 29 KND Avondale Beach SC SYL 1.25

Free Transfers In:
N/A

Free Transfers Out:
Name Position Age Nationality New Club Nationality
Paul Brotor LB/CB 27 KND Tocigtuon Taun TSA

Grade: C-
Analysis: We knew Rodar was going to want out following the season no matter how Bingham did, and the newly promoted National Team defender signed with the New Capetwon Falcons in Taeshan which is great to see. However I felt selling Dailford was necessary considering the circumstances. This team will have difficulties next season, that's for sure as Brotor refused to sign a new deal with them and is now going to The Sarian.

Kohnhead Youth League

The Kohnhead Youth League (U-18) is now officially underway. It will have 24 teams who each will play each other twice, so 46 games in the season which is more than double what the Premier League and League Two play. The top 8 teams from the Youth League will advance to the Kohnhead Cup in the next season which will be debuting season 3. 24 cities have a youth team yet no youth team is affiliated with one of the main squads. The players who are sent to the youth league by the main clubs are put into a draft and drafted onto one of the teams. They will play their until they either graduate to the main squad, or are called up at the end of the season. The Youth League starts earlier than the main leagues and ends earlier too. The top 8 teams (the teams that qualify for the cup) will have an elimination tournament to see who wins).

Here are the teams:
Patterson Peaches
Mittold Moose
Herty Hills
New Ballow Martians
Porter Prowlers
Nickelson Ninjas
Swisston Souvenirs
Barnley Bears
Willington Workers
Scratford Saturns
Relton Rovers

Bingham Broncos
Butlertown Knights
Werther Fire
Kohnhead City Pandas
Kater Kangaroos
Justinian Jurors

Info: FC Rockaton were one of the original eight teams in the Premier League and even finished third once. But after a good two seasons they surprisingly got relegated to the new League 2 that was formed. There they had stayed up until last season when they won the League 2. They have a passionate fan base mostly made up of people who experienced the original success of the team.

Formation: 3-5-2
Coach: Brook Wilkins (44), was hired three years ago after FC Rockaton hit rock bottom finishing last in League 2. In just two years he was able bring this team up to the Premier League. Despite this, I think that they get relegated as the board didn't make enough signings to really give them a fighting chance.
Projected Finish: 12th
Jerseys: Silver and White with Silver shorts
Stadium: Murray TV Stadium (17,000)

RM Vinnie Milner #8 Age: 24
CM Krystal Shelton #7 Age: 28
(C) CM Shannon Merritt #13 Age: 35
LM Blade Knowles #11 Age: 31
CAM Stan Hope #9 Age: 25
CF Lucy Guest #10 Age: 22

Info: New Ballow United has been a team constantly switching between League 2 and the Premier League. They sit in the heart of Kohnhead, and have fluctuated between the two leagues all of their existence having moved the last two seasons and three of the last four. This time they feel their core is ready to stay up in the Premier League.

Formation: 4-4-1-1
Coach: Raheem Moore (56), Moore took over the team at the beginning of last season and successfully guided this team back to the Premier League. He is trying to be the first Coach to have New Ballow not get relegated as every time they've been in the Premier League, they've only lasted a season. I believe he is the man to do it though.
Projected Finish: 9th
Jerseys: Blue and Yellow with Red shorts
Stadium: Marshall's Auto Parts Arena (24,000)

Key Takeaways
The defending champs Barnley FC after a slow start have vaulted into first place by one point. Despite Brandon Irving being their headline signing, it has been Axel Korborg leading the charge in terms of goals with 6 in 6 games, three ahead of second.

Porter City have done very well especially defensively as their new signings have helped defensively. They have allowed only five goals, tied for the best in the league.

After a blazing fast start in which they wanted to show Rallyton wasn't everything by winning their first three games, Philtront have come back to Earth getting one point out of their next three.

New Ballow are surprisingly in an ICIF spot. They did well during the Liga B but this is extremely out of the blue. It's been the defense that is led by Erika Cook and Rosie Lang that have gotten them to 4th.

Despite losing to Barnley 1-4 in their failure at a revenge game, Kohnhead City have been okay. They beat FC Kohnface City which is their rival and they will look to challenge for the title soon.

Despite getting 0 points through their first three games, Nickelson have really turned it around wining their last three over Real Dawson, Swisston City, and Kohnhead City. They are now only one point back from a top four finish.

FC Wangor have played okay and got two wins and one loss in their last three games but are only three points out of relegation at this point.

The Dawson Diamonds have been very lucky only scoring five times while conceding nine, good for second worst in the league. Despite this they sit in eighth place.

Is this becoming the new norm for FC Kohnface City. After starting out last year terrible and like one point out of relegation they picked it up over the second half but now sit in 9th as if they belong there.

How much did they overachieve last year for Real Dawson to be sitting in 10th right now. Getting two draws in three games has left them one point safe as of right now. Will their lack of spending hurt them big time?

Despite MIxer balling out early on, the rest of Swisston City has been sub par. They go just one point over their last three games to fall from fifth to eleventh not something you want to see.

I mean Rockaton in last is pretty predictable. They will need a miracle to stay up and I just don't see it happening.

KYL Matchdays 22-23 (Halfway Mark)

OOC: From now on I will still be putting out every score, it's just they will be in three total posts a first half of the season, a second half, and the playoffs. This is easier on me and because I haven't developed my youth league that much it will mean more space for my main league and future leagues to shine.

Halfway Grades/Analysis (Premier League)

1. Barnley FC
Original Prediction: 3rd
Analysis: The defending champs in Barnley have been in the top two for almost all of the season and now have a three point cushion between themselves and second place Nickelson. In what many expected to be an extremely competitive game between the top two from last year in the second week, Barnley whooped Kohnhead City 4-1 which took many people by surprise. Axel Korborg, the Super Llama-Land born striker has really dominant scoring six goals good for third in the league. That stat is a bit misleading though because he scored six in the first six games and had none in his last but that's because defenses started to key in on him. Harry Richman is also having a very good offensive season, putting the ball in the back of the net five times. Their big offensive acquisition in Brandon Irving has three goals as well. They have allowed just 11 goals on the season which is tied for the best mark in the league thanks in large part to Caroline Prius-Leonard, and Miranda Atkinson in the back. Charles Laker leads the team in assists with five and has played extremely well too.
Team MVP: Axel Korborg (LF)
Grade: A
New Prediction: 1st

2. Nickelson FC
Original Prediction: 5th
Analysis: After losing their first three games (each by one goal), Nickelson was able to completely rebound from this and win four straight and are currently on a two match winning streak. Their best game was probably a 3-1 victory over Barnley the current leaders and their fourth straight win in week 8. Robinson Caldry leads the team in goals with six while Isabelle Bradford, Thomas Stratford, and GPA all are at three goals. Stratford leads the team in assists with four of them. Their very poor defense from last year has been helped a lot by the aquisition of South Newlandian defender Phillip Gurero. Nickelson after being just one point off last year from making an ICIF appearance have really done quite well this season even after their terrible start.
Team MVP: Robinson Caldry (LM)
Grade: A+
New Prediction: 3rd

3. Kohnhead City FC
Original Prediction: 1st
Analysis: Sitting just a point back from Nickelson FC who are at 19 meaning Kohnhead City sits at 18, the capital's Premier League side and the title favorites have not done as well as they would have liked. While many teams would think 3rd is a job well done not this team. Expectations were a first place finish with the way this team spent and they have not lived up to those expectations. Erin Maltos leads the league in goals scored with eight already surpassing her total last year of seven. Pedro Vasquez one of their two big signings during the most recent transfer window is playing quite well with 3 goals and 6 assists. Aaron Korkson also has three and has taken a backseat to Maltos this season. The other major signing Hannah Boyd has been just okay as they have allowed 14 goals a worse mark than all but three teams. Boyd of course was not expected to achieve the levels Newcastle was at but has not done as well as some would have liked. Nevertheless I believe this team is the most talented and will be able to turn this season around and possibly contend for the title.
Team MVP: Erin Maltos (CF)
Grade: B-
New Prediction: 2nd

4. Porter City
Original Prediction: 2nd
Analysis: Porter had a massive defensive overhaul heading into this season bringing in Benjamin Andrei, Ayli Galdra, and Seb Leemrijsen. Combined with Morty Cirter and Amber Washington on paper it was an extremely formidable defense. So far these moves have made a big difference as Porter sit in 4th the same spot that they finished last season. On the opposite side of the ball, Justin Jeffrey has been dominant scoring seven goals for the side. Considering they have only scored 14 times, it's amazing that he has accounted for 50% of his teams goals. Austin Allafin has contributed as well netting it three times. Porter currently sit in a four team tie on points for fourth but I'm confident that they can keep ahead of Kohnface City and Wangor. The management here in Porter realized that this team overachieved last season and so they went out and bought a bunch of new pieces so this year they wouldn't be hit with regression and it seems to be working. While I had them finishing 2nd at the beginning of the season, 4th as the last Challengers spot would still be very good.
Team MVP: Justin Jeffrey (CAM)
Grade: B
New Prediction: 4th

5. FC Kohnface City
Original Prediction: 7th
Analysis: We all know FC Kohnface City disappointed massively last season finishing in a disappointing 8th and after six games it looked like they might do even worse as they sat in 10th place. The team has rebounded in the matches since making my original prediction of them finishing in 7th look a bit silly as they sit in 5th tied with Porter on points. The offense led by Whitney Arter who sits at four goals has not been the best, as Audrey Henderson has struggled this year a little bit. The reason this team has done so well though is because of the defense. Led by marquee signings in Florian Zinna the keeper from Maccian, and Varci Morgo from The Jovannic have played extremely well. Also of course the contributions of Nicholas Radison cannot be understated as the best Kohnheadian defender continues to dominate like normal. I just don't see Kohnface City having the offensive firepower needed to get an ICIF birth.
Team MVP: Florian Zinna (GK)
Grade: A-
New Prediction: 5th

6. FC Wangor
Original Prediction: 11th
Analysis: FC Wangor have been the major surprise so far as the team I had predicted to get relegated is even on points with Porter who are in the top four. Somehow FC Wangor have allowed 11 goals which is tied for the best mark in the league with FC Kohnface City and Barnley FC the leaders. The only difference between this years defenders and last years was the addition of Sabrina Jortan from Porter City who is pretty good and has really revolutionized this defense. Now that is not to credit the rest of the defense but she has really been a lot better than Adert was. Butler Washt has enjoyed a pretty good season with five goals so far and Jason Merrick who they brought on as a free agent has three while Jaylon Hassan leads the team in assists. I'm doubtful of their ability especially the defense's to keep playing this good as the season progresses but they are a story to watch especially if they keep this up.
Team MVP: Sabrina Jortan (CB)
Grade: A+
New Prediction: 8th

7. Swisston City FC
Original Prediction: 4th
Analysis: I thought their off season went pretty good as they brought in Ruaridh Crow to replace Gillian Dinderton before making a massive signing in Mixer who was thought to take this team to the top four level. Mixer played extremely well to start the season but the rest of the team failed to show up as they slumped to five points in six games good for second to last. They've rebounded a bit since then and have four players at three goals each in Mixer, Mildred Boler, Yohann Bassi, and the young Rafa Santos. Despite this it has overall been a poor season for Swisston City as Vargas and Corton the defenses two best players have been eh at best. There's definitely still time for this team to hit their groove but so far it has been a very disappointing season.
Team MVP: Mixer (LF)
Grade: D
New Prediction: 6th

8. Dawson Diamonds
Original Prediction: 10th
Analysis: The Dawson Diamonds have somehow managed to score nine goals in 11 goals yet find themselves in 8th place, three points clear of the relegation zone which is an extremely formidable achievement. What's even crazier is that only three people on the entire time have managed to find the back of the net and those being Inatz Bariazarra, Dana Fresh, and Gabrielle Serty. The defense has been pretty good really being the saving grace of this team but the offense really needs to get going for them to try and stay above the zone. If you remember correctly their offseason was a busy one as they brought in four free agents to completely shake up the starting XI and all four have beaten expectations. Markus Shultz has really been completely undervalued by everyone but he has completely dominated in the midfield without having find a goal. He has been the center of all their attacks but has also been crucial in dropping back to play defense when needed. He leads the team in assists as well and has been a complete surprise.
Team MVP: Markus Shultz (AM)
Grade: B+
New Prediction: 10th

9. Philtront Pioneers
Original Prediction: 8th
Analysis: Losing Linus Rallyton hurts big time for this team but when they won their first three games in decisive fashion some thought they would be fine even better without him. Unfortunately they came back down to Earth in the weeks following and have slowly slipped in the standings until we see them here in 9th. The offense has had no problems scoring 15 goals which is the fourth best mark in the league. The defense on the other hand is a different matter allowing the most goals in the league at 19. Offensively they have been led by Eric Ofofor, Aleks Madsen, Richard Robinson, and Jamaal Davis. Madsen the young 20 year old has been a big surprise for the team so far and Ofofor has been as good as advertised. It's possible a call up is coming in his future. Despite them being just one spot below my prediction it just feels so much worse than it actually is because of how well they started out.
Team MVP: Eric Ofofor (DM)
Grade: C
New Prediction: 7th

10. FC Rockaton
Original Prediction: 12th
Analysis: George Finley has practically carried this team to just out of the relegation zone just as he did last year in League 2. His six goals are tied for 3rd in the league and with his supporting cast not doing too well rumors are abound that he is really frustrated especially with his National Team call up expected to come when Pheonix-Anderson hangs up his boots which he will be doing soon. Olly Evans hasn't been bad in goal per say it's just most of the team has failed to really do much and Finley is frustrated that management didn't really bring in too many people this off season. I don't see this team staying above the relegation zone for much longer as there's just so much Finley can do. If they do it will be a miracle and I'm surprised they are above it by two points currently.
Team MVP: George Finley (LF)
Grade: B+
New Prediction: 12th

11. Real Dawson
Original Prediction: 6th
Analysis: We all knew regression was coming for last year's bronze medalist Real Dawson. We just didn't know that the regression they suffered would be this bad. It's been the offense that has failed to produce this year only scoring 10 goals which is tied for the second to worst mark in the league with New Ballow United. The defense has only allowed 13 which is very good for an 11th place team. After both scoring 10 goals last year, Jordan Korkson and Corinne Andrews have completely failed to produce all season and they're behind their cross town rivals in the Dawson Diamonds. Petuina Pallard has scored three and is the only one on the team above two goals. Suzanna Barter has failed to produce this season which is concerning as she was rumored to be on the short list for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. Wanda Warter has been the best player as the defense has tried to save a sinking ship.
Team MVP: Wanda Warter (RB)
Grade: F
New Prediction: 9th

12. New Ballow United
Original Prediction: 9th
Analysis: They are tied with Real Dawson on points but have a worse goal differential so NBU get the dubious distinction of being the last place team at the halfway mark. This is upsetting as well because they really did play their cards right this offseason making what seemed at the time to be the right moves. Lucy Guest has actually played pretty well offensively scoring 5 goals which is 50% of this teams total goals scored. In terms of New Ballow the offense and defense are both to blame for the failure of a season so far. Erika Cook has actually been pretty good but Hinata Akibahara has been a bit of a disappointment so far and Bobby Dillard wasn't ready for a starting spot. New Ballow have their work cut out if they want to somehow salvage this season by staying in the Premier League.
Team MVP: Lucy Guest (CF)
Grade: D-

FC Rockaton 18 20 5 3 12 18 31 Relegated
New Ballow United 17 20 4 5 11 17 31 Relegated

Scenarios for final two matches
Only Barnley and Nickelson can win the league at this point, Nickelson would need to overcome what is essentially a four point gap as Barnley have a 8 goal differential lead. Barnley travels to New Ballow in their next match before hosting Real Dawson two of the worst teams in the league. Nickelson host Philtront before going on the road against FC Rockaton, two winnable games.

While Barnley have secured themselves a top 2 finish, Nickelson can finish as low as 2nd which would mean they miss ICIF competitions. Wangor, Porter, and Kohnface can all make it into the top four although Wangor has the easiest path to do so.

Philtront are safe from relegation but cannot make it into the top four their highest possible position is 5th.

The bottom four of Dawson Diamonds, Real Dawson, FC Rockaton, and New Ballow United can all be relegated. None of the bottom four play each other in the final two weeks.

Fixture List
Kohnhead City FC VS Swisston City FC
Barnley FC VS Real Dawson
FC Wangor VS New Ballow United
FC Kohnface City VS Dawson Diamonds
Philtront Pioneers VS Porter City
FC Rockaton VS Nickelson FC

Scenarios for final matchday
Barnley have officially won the Premier League for the second year in a row as they won and Nickelson lost.
Nickelson have clinched a spot in the Challengers Cup and could finish as low as 3rd
Kohnhead City could finish as high as second but as low as 5th but 5th is unlikely as Swisston City would have to beat them by five.
Swisston and Wangor are the true two teams competing for 4th and the final Challengers Cup spot. Wangor hold a five goal differential lead and they are even on points
Porter, Kohnface, and Philtront will occupy spots 6-8 but the order is unknown yet
The Dawson Diamonds aren't yet safe but the odds are extremely low for them to be relegated. They would need to lose, have Real Dawson win, have FC Rockaton win, have FC Rockaton make up a -8 goal differential on them.
Real Dawson and FC Rockaton are the true two teams competing to stay up even on points with Dawson holding the seven goal differential lead.
New Ballow United have officially been relegated after one season in the Premier League.

League 2 Table

Fixture List
Northern FC VS Real Barnley
Kohnhead City University VS Sporting Kohnhead City
Goldberg City VS FC Butlertown
Herty Hat Tricks VS Relton United
Bingham City VS Hamilton United
West Castle VS Lithrop FC

Scenarios for final matchday
While Sporting Kohnhead City have not officially been promoted it is almost a guarantee they finish ahead of FC Butlertown by virtue of goal differential. They have clinched a spot in the Liga B competition as a top three side.
The Herty Hat Tricks can drop as low as 5th and it is a very realistic possibility. A win would get them promoted, a draw or loss would mean they need other fixtures to go their way.
FC Butlertown could technically win but that's not likely, however a second place finish is.
Goldberg and Real Barnley would both need to win and have Herty draw or lose. Real Barnley need good results in the Goldberg City vs FC Butlertown match.
Relton can still get promoted but it is pretty unlikely for that to happen. They would need to beat Herty by at least seven, have Butlertown and Goldberg draw, and have Real Barnley lose or draw.
Northern cannot get promoted and a spot in the Liga B competition is also impossible.
Bingham can get as high as 6th but cannot lose spots.
Lithrop and West Castle can realistically only move spots with each other. West Castle could technically be passed by Hamilton but it's highly unlikely.
The University will finish in dead last.
