In many nation's government, it is the task of one specific Minister, Secretary, etc..., to keep thr great seal of the nation. IRL, it is for example the role of the Secretary of State in thr US, or the Minister of Justice in France.

So, in your nation's government, which member is tasked with keeping the great seal of your nation?

In the Federalis Imperium of Astares Amauricanum, the Secretary of State, currently Michael Foxter, is the only one appointed and authorized to keep the Great Astarian Seal.

OOC: It's always hard for me to tell sarcasm in real life, let alone over the internet, but I feel like it's worth pointing out here (mostly for my sake): there are two kinds of seal; the seal as in the animal, and the seal as in the logo. In this case it's referring too the logo. But I could be picking up the wrong signals, so whoops.

IC: The President is the Keeper of the Seal, but the seal is actually kept with the Registrar General, as the Registrar General is responsible for registering all letters patent, commissions, instruments, proclamations, and any other documents that need to be issued under the national seal, thus it is appropriate for the Registrar General to be the de facto keeper. There used to only be one physical seal, but due to the size of the government, there are now three seals. Two seals are used by the Supreme Court and Parliament and are present during their proceedings, and the other is the "official" seal that is provided whenever it needs to be used, which is usually by the President. Other officials generally do not need to use the seal, and the states have their own seals that are used by state officials.

TurtleShroom has an Emblem that doubles as its seal. All documents issued by the Crown, by the actual Ministers of the Executive Cabinet of Peers, all embassy matters, all laws and declarations passed by Congress or the Boyar Council, and all Supreme Court/Grand Alcoholic Tribunal rulings all place it at the top of their letterhead. Accordingly, there is no actual "keeper" of the TS Emblem.

For the former, we don't have a specific "keeper" of such, though it's generally only used by the government.

As for the latter; you can either find it in zoos/nature reserves, or just go to your local pier.

Aldina has no physical Great Seal; letter stamps, signet rings, and seal presses bearing the Imperial coat of arms (Sable, a bordure Argent, a two-headed eagle displayed Or) are common in the high government offices of the Imperial Federation. The coat of arms represents the crown's authority or approval; only the monarch and those authorized to speak on the monarch's behalf (such as the Chancellor of the Senate) are permitted to use it. Falsifying the arms (i.e. trying to use them in an official capacity when you don't have the authorization to do so) is considered fraud at best and high treason at worst.

The Great Seal of Radiatia is kept in an enclosure at Oceanworlds® Theme Parks ("The Splishiest Splashiest Theme Park this side of the Great Radiatian Desert"), specifically the park located in Das Engel, Amentra and is property of Oceanworlds® Theme Parks, LLC (a division of the Arsky Petrochemicals Corporation).

Also, the President has an official seal for like official documents and stuff (but not a seal as in the animal).

This is explicitly the domain of the Prime Minister - in fact the position of "Keeper of the Great Seal of State" predates the position of Prime Minister but is included in the Prime Minister's official title (which is "His Royal Majesty's Prime Minister, Chairman of the Cabinet, First Lord of the Treasury and Keeper of the Great Seal of State.").

Originally the Great Seal was held by the Monarch and when a new government is sworn in the Great Seal is ceremonially given by the Monarch to the Prime Minister, symbolising that power in Alizeria is being handed from the Monarch to the democratically elected representatives of the people.

The Great Seal of the Union is kept by HE the President-General, but in practice it is entrusted to the All-Union Registrar-General (which is the All-Union Minister for the Provinces).
