Please describe the food served as meals ready to eat for soldiers away from base.

Our military MRE different for several stages:

1. The Stage I -> distributed for routine offshore patrol on the unit without galley/kitchen or for civilian during disasters

A - 3 set of Vegetarian instant rice dish (flavor vary) + fresh fruit/ day
B - 3 set Vegetarian instant hot pot set + fresh fruit/ day

the collective water purification unit

2. The Stage II -> Low-risk military operation

5 packs Vegetarian instant noodle + bottled juice + protein bar/ day

the collective water purification unit

3. The Stage III -> High-risk military operation

5 serving of nutrition shakes (e.g. soylent)/ day

Nano filter straw (eg. life straw)

OOC: the MRE doesn't look good because we don't have enough money simply to waste for the military. however, the civilian food security is guarded through the national logistics bureau with food depository.

There are presently fifteen different field rations used by the National Military of the Democratic Republic of Gandoor. All fifteen rations are 24-hour rations and contain an entire days worth of meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks/dessert), various powdered drinks, and supplies to prepare and eat the food. Rations come packaged in boxes labelled with a letter (e.g. Ration A, Ration B, Ration C, etc.) and the main courses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner labelled in all three of our nation's official languages (English, Japanese, and Russian). Rations are produced by private companies under government contract and ones intended for use by the military will have 'PROPERTY OF MINISTRY OF DEFENCE - CIVILIAN OWNERSHIP IS UNLAWFUL' stamped across the top.

All rations include the following items as standard:
Beverages
Black tea
Instant coffee
Instant energy drink powder (three per ration, available in lemon, cherry, and fruit punch flavour)

Supplies
Miniature folding stove
Twelve fuel tablets
Book of waterproof matches
Packet of moist towelettes
Two sets of a plastic knife, fork, and spoon
Salt and pepper packets
Sugar packets
Five pieces of chewing gum
Three small trash bags

A small sampling of the individual meals included with some of our nation's field rations are as follows:

Because of the wide range of climates in the empire, the contents of a Kashimuran Bun Shokuji (Minute Meal) varies depending on situation and deployment duration, though their general composition follows a simple template. These foods are not exclusive to any meals, and they can usually be custom ordered en masse by officers if need be, but it is important to take into consideration where the food is going before ordering. Foods are separated by the following categories: Hot Climate or Cold Climate; Short Deployment or Long Deployment; Entrée, Wet Side, Dry Side, Toppings, Drink, and Dessert. Long deployment foods can obviously be eaten on short deployments, but usually not vice versa. This is the menu as of 2009, current menu may vary.

All rations also come with sporks, a small pack of water, and a flameless heat pack.

expeditionary forces are granted the following food based their status:
Imperialis Exercitus: being standard troops are granted basic recycled ration bars, a singular luxury food item (eg a bar of chocolate) per week, standard officers have non-recycled dehydrated rations, a daily luxury food item and in higher ranks a daily cigar, commissars and generals have non-dehydrated long lasting rations and no daily limit on luxuries; commissars have the power to request and deny additional rations for the troops. (exceptions exist with unique regiments)

inquisitorial forces provide their own food internally and generally speaking true inquisitors eat full cooked meals daily while their henchmen eat dehydrated rations and get luxuries at the inquisitors discretion.

the Legiones Astartes and Adeptus Custodes: provide their own food internally with standards varying greatly, though generally fully cooked meals are the norm for them and sometimes their un-augmented support staff, with dehydrated rations and fresh ration bars held on standby for expeditions that may exceed decades without resupply.

The Royal Army of Great Nortend has two types of rations: supply rations and ﬁeld rations.

Supply rations are provided when troops are stationed at garrisons where there is a mess or kitchen providing three fresh meals a day, or where there are established lines of supply. These are usually eaten formally in dining rooms, often at a mess. Sometimes meals may be taken elsewhere, especially when away from the main garrison temporarily, in which case portable foods such as sandwiches, raw fruit, pies and rolls are distributed. Snacks for eating outside of formal meal times generally must be purchased by troops, either from civilian shops or from garrison or mess stores.

When in the ﬁeld or on the march without fresh supplies available, field rations are provided. These are packed into cardboard boxes and may be provided individually or as a group, depending on expertise and whether a field kitchen is available or not.

Ordinary individual rations provide meals for three meals (24 hours) or two meals (12 hours).

Rations, Field, One Man, Full Day (RFOM-24) have seven menus which provide three meals a day with snacks. The pack contains: two main meals in large flat, rounded tins, pudding in a round tin, two smaller dishes in small round tins, two soup powders, instant barley, oats or rice porridge, dried fruit and nuts, savoury “tack” crackers, sweet biscuits, milk chocolate, dried beef, block of cheese, fruit cereal bar, shot of spirits, assorted sweets, condensed milk, instant coffee, tea bags, milk powder, cordial powder, matches, hexamine tablet, water purification tablets, butter, jam or marmalade, yeast extract, nutmeg, sugar, salt and pepper, alcohol wipes and toilet paper/serviettes. The tins have pull-tabs whilst the sachets and other sundries are in foil or plain or waxed paper with blue and black text. The pack is packaged in a rectangular cardboard box and weighs under 5 lb.

All troops carry a messing kit consisting of two messing tins, one larger and one smaller which fits inside. Two steel canteens are also carried, one fitting into a drinking cup suitable for boiling water. A small ﬂint and steel kit is carried, as well as a cleaning rag and steel wool. A spoon and fork and carried as cutlery, the fork with serrations for a knife. Rations are heated or cooked, where practicable, on small folding hexamine stoves or directly on campfire.
