Because I'm a vegetarian I can't say I've ever had them before, but I like they're veggie version a lot. (I'm also in that I like them without any toppings on them. just the veggie dog and bun. And yeah, wrong forum, and extend the OP)

I've never eaten a hot dog before, but I have eaten a sausage; I just don't think it would go well with the bread part though.

They are made out of the leftover parts. After all of the other cuts have been made they grind everything else up and make hotdogs. Or at least that's what I've always heard.

The devil created hot dogs out of the parts the gods never intended to be eaten, placed his dastardly "meat" into a bizarrely-shaped bun, then had the AUDACITY to call his unholy creation a sandwich. They have been righteously banned from our glorious nation! (Until Arby's adds a hot dog to their menu, at least)

Hotdogs are like sausages but they are much more processed. Hot dogs are at best well-liquidised meat sludge, as opposed to sausages that are made out generally higher quality cuts.

I have slightly strong feelings about this subject
