How would someone from YN react to the real world?

If someone from your nation were to visit the real world, how would they react? Would they like it more? Would they dislike it? What would they be extremely shocked by? And by real world I mean, it can be any given real life country, or the entire world in general.

They would be amazed at how you could get any kind of resource/cultural exposure without having to physically go there. Also the whole thing with consumerism would be confusing and they would feel indifferent or horrified to the prevalent social issues in this world, mainly because such issues don't exist in Subhurbia. The world would also seem quite backwards to a Subhurbian.

Sheer unbridled disgust at the internationalism and the forceful rape of nations via the imposition of international morality on them via a giant supernational violation club called the UN.

I don't think they'd notice much difference. I've always striven for realism as much as I can with Radiatia and even when I write something silly, real life tends to come up with something even more stupid than the fiction.

Most would be annoyed by the relative lack of technological convenience, widespread hierarchy and social conservatism, though it's not a guarantee - habs run by traditionalist/reactionary separatists are a (disliked but tolerated) thing.

They wouldn't react much since their world is basically the real world.

There really wouldn't be much of a reaction, other than "huh, that's weird" in regard to certain nations and policies.

"What do you mean "the real world"? We're already living in it!"

(There's not a huge difference except they may be surprised at the sight of firearms, and to the militarization of police. Anollasia is a gun-free society for the most part, and the police are minimally armed.)

There wouldn't be much reaction as its really similar to their world. Basically its just as if they've gone a few decades in the past, and they would think the real world is just an alternative universe of theirs.
But they would be a little shocked as superpowers, aura and magic does not exist/merely just a fiction in the real world.
Also some of them might try to prevent the WW3 from happening, even though the cause will surely be different as the concept of the universe itself is different, albeit having a really similar history; considering there is no metahuman (and sorcery itself was eradicated in the middle ages) and nothing anomalous happened in the history of humanity (especially Adam & Eve's lineage), the WW3 in the real world might or might not happen. And if it happens, the cause will be of political aggressions, not some external force trying to dominate the world just like in their universe.

An Andocarian would be very surprised at how extreme and oppositional Americans in RL are especially when it comes to politics. They would also be surprised when they walk into a store or restaurant and hear a popular song that is on the charts. In Andocara, you would only hear such music in live performances, sporting events, or in movies and tv shows. They would be horrified by how "behind" the US is socially, in regards to racism, homophobia, sexism, islamophobia etc. The popularity of guns would be appalling to them as well, unless they are from East Andocara. They would also face palm at how bad America is handling the coronavirus pandemic. They may find public restrooms in the US uncomfortable to use, as in Andocara, the toilets are all in their own seperate rooms rather than covered by walls that leave over a feet of space open. They would be shocked at how patriotic Americans are. In Andocara you wouldn't find the Andocarian flag in front of a residential home, probably unless the home owner is of millitary background. You would only really find Andocarian flags in front of corporate and government buildings. In America on the other hand, it isn't uncommon to find the US flag in front of a residential home. Someone from Metro Andocara would see America as highly religious, while someone fromm East Andocara would see America as a place that lacks spirituality.

"Considering that Karakalpakstanstan's universe is very similar to IRL Earth, for the most part they wouldn't notice much difference. However, they would be saddened by Aral Sea drying out, and Uzbek government not doing much to stop it, along with the levels of poverty, green pastures drying out, salinization process of land, and crash of the fishing industry. Also, as Karakalpakstan is not independent IRL, they could get in trouble for advocating it."

[Never was New England]

Never was New England would be pissed to find out the US is not a pacifist and atheist paradise with gun control, but rather a hellhole for minorities with citizens who believe the US is the best country. As New England and the Northeast is the only sane region in the US, we would be scared out of our minds to knowing we are part of the US as a whole. We would also be so confused with the handling of corona (The Northeast US is the only region falling in active cases) and Never was New England would want to set an example of what should be done to control the virus.

The real world is by-and-large part of our universe, though they’d find it a bit irreligious, but due to our inventors, technicians, engineers, etc. routinely taking human realm technology and advancing/improving upon it, a typical resident might be surprised at how behind humanity is.

The common citizen would think that he had just reached Heaven due to the level of freedom awarded by him on most earthly nations. A high ranking priest would likely join the Daesh or the KKK.

They would be shocked by the lack of regard the real world has for individual freedoms, even in freer, more Westernized nations. In Barfleur, while regulations do exist, people are able to live their lives without much interference from the government, or from judgmental members of society.
